Kracklauer Park has changed a lot since I visited when I was a kid. I can still remember the big metal robot with the slides that would melt your thigh off. This park is a nice little sanctuary in the middle of Mundelein. The playground is modern with tons of room to run. For years this has been the spot for Mundelein Days and the Munch and it fits perfectly.

Mundelein Days For the 4th of July

Nice wide open spaces and a playground for kids to play. Saw a nice highschool concert while sitting in the cool grass. Very well kept and nice atmosphere. When no special events are going on, the pavilion is a great place to let your baby crawl around while your older kids play in the mostly fenced-in playground.

Tbh, this place is actually pretty good, just not the landscape, but the playground had been there for almost 2 decades. You can go there any time you want and it's been the same since, uhhhhhhh, but ok, you can go there if you wanna chill or something but don't go if it's like 2 degrees outside with snow because you know uh. But atleast ypu can get McDonald's from there or go skating by that roller rink but honestly very good place to be at if your bored or something. wait before this was a good place now it's just pure bad landscape and equipment is kinda outdated.

Very beautiful location for a park by the creek plus trees and playground to top it off.

We were here for Mundelein Days Car show and Carnival 2022

This is a cute local park with a lot of open space and a playground.

Quaint spot for smaller children. Park has a swing for an adult and infant, slides are perfect for toddlers. On occasion, live music, restaurants are nearby as well as a Gazebo.

Went here for the Mundelein carnival, it was a great experience

Gem in Mundelein—this is an excellent facility. Don’t miss the summertime concert series; the township brings in great bands and the green is PERFECT for an evening concert! Plenty of shaded and plenty of sun depending what you want. The playground is great and includes areas for little and bigger kids. In addition, McDonald’s and Taste if Paris are adjacent to the park so you can walk over for a bite in no time! Bring the food over to a bench, the beautiful gazebo, or a picnic on the grass.

Great park for many years

Nice community park. We go to the free concert on Sundays 5-6:30. Always a nice evening.

Good place for the whole family. Younger kid playground, big kid playground. Lots of swings. Walking path. Gazebo. Picnic tables. Easy parking, enter from Seymour.

Very nice park. Well maintained.
