10/10! First time coming tonight with another couple. The staff, food, and vibes were all great. The patio was huge and well heated and there was a piano-singer who was amazing. We will definitely be back to Tina’s!

One of the best lobster rolls hands down. This place has great food and service everytime Ive gone. Also they had a strawberry mimosa that was a nice treat with lunch. They do offer endless mimosas so maybe next time when I have more time to spend.

Lovely café and the very first time dining here recently was a very pleasant experience. Wife had breakfast and my 4 year old son & I had lunch items. I'm curious to see what the dinner menu's like. Very clean venue bolstered by exceptional customer service, high quality food at reasonable prices and a fine wine selection. Next time we return, gonna try this upscale café during dinner hours.

It was our 1st time there! Amazing food staff was so friendly. Tina G came out and introduced herself. A very warm and inviting atmosphere. Sarah our server was wonderful! Will definitely be back again!

A nice casual/fancy Italian place. Always easy to go to because it’s never crazy busy but never quiet. The mood is so nice and warm, Tina G’s always welcomes you into their abode. The food is fantastic, I had a delicious Gnocchi, which was well made in a fantastic crème sauce. I highly recommend it. However, it was a special order- I had them switch the bow tie pasta from the original to gnocchi. The peas were not over cooked, but weren’t too al dente either.

First time trying this local restaurant, and I can see why they are one of Mundelein’s most top rated! Located in the heart of downtown Mundelein, plenty of parking was available. Very fast seating, lights and overall atmosphere is welcoming. Ordered the Spring Gimlet, good mixture and flavor. Hands down best Reuben sandwich in Mundelein! Will come back most definitely!

It's always a favorite. New menu items are amazing with pasta dishes that were to die for. Service was great, too. Best restaurant for dinner in the area.. Must try.

Hannah our server was beyond kind and helpful throughout the entire dinner. The drinks and food were amazing. They are very accommodating with everything as well. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for great Italian cuisine.

Absolutely delicious and delightful! Great service, beautiful décor and atmosphere. Well priced for the portions, especially lunch, and the desserts were excellent!

Tina G’s is the kinda place you need to end your workweek, celebrate a moment or if you just need a lift. The delightful patio is comfy and esthetically pleasing despite the fact it’s on a street next to a somewhat busy thoroughfare. Your delight starts with a server like Marco with his effective delivery of the daily special details and with his kind demeanor. We enjoyed a couple of those specials( pics of sole and pork shanks) and the yummy grilled calamari appetizer. The “ circus” surrounding the patio of a neighboring restaurant and open mic Friday night music added to our dining pleasure. Our people watching showed us how the owner Tina and manager engaged in such a community friendly manner that was refreshingly charming. Marco was an efficient and caring server who delivered a yummy dinner so kudos to him and his manager on setting great standards. Overall - you can’t miss enjoying a meal at Tina G’s.

Usually good. Inconsistent lately. Always get angel hair Asiago. HAD a hair in it recently. House paid my meal . Is was back again for same dish and barely any chicken in it. Cmon love the dish keep me coming back

I am very satisfied their food usually. But for me, ribeye steak was too thin. It was steak but feels like burger patty. I would reccomend shrimp and scallops Spaghetti. That was very delicious. Also try their sandwich, asparagus soup and fries.

I can't say enough good things about this place. The food is always amazing and we never leave hungry. Service has always been on point, with Hannah being our fave server. Here's what blew me away about this place...the second time we were there, the owner (Tina) was walking around and asking folks how their meals were. She came to our table and we all introduced ourselves, and I asked her to compliment the chef on the special I had ordered...bacon wrapped scallops. The bacon was perfectly crispy without overcooking the scallops, which is no easy feat! They. Were. Perfect. After a few minutes of friendly conversation, she thanked us for our kind words and moved along throughout the restaurant, doing what she does so well...creating bonds and connections with her customers. Six months later we happened to see her again - we had been there more often, just never had an opportunity to see her. When she came around to check in on her customers, as is her custom, she actually remembered us and how much we loved those scallops! I was floored...it was a less than five minute conversation, one which she has countless times a night, every night she is there, and she remembered us? We told her we were a little bummed, because we had hoped to see it on the specials menu, and you want to know what she said? You won't believe it...she said, "Next time you know you'll be coming, call a few days in advance and I'll make sure to order some in, so you can have them." WHAT? When have you ever heard of that kind of customer service in this day and age...or any day and age? In that moment, I became a fan for life, and thankfully, that's not hard to do, because the place is always clean and comfortable, the service impeccable, and the food, well the food is what we crave, so that's an easy one. If you're looking for a handsomely outfitted restaurant with great food, tasty cocktails, impeccable service, and an owner that really wants to give you an excellent dining experience...without mortgaging your house to do it...Tina G's in Mundelein is where you'll want to go. I promise.

Just happened upon this place while driving through town. Food was excellent as well as the service. My husband had the smoked salmon sandwich and I had the grilled chicken and asparagus panini. Everything was hot and fresh. Would definitely recommend it.

Just surprised my dad with his retirement party there and the staff were extremely accommodating, kind, and truly amazingly helpful in pulling off a lovely evening. Our party probably drank all the Vino though so check prior... just kidding. They are awesome and we will be back soon!!

Family visited the other day. Had corned beef/tater tots, daughter had strawberry salad, wife had patty melt/fries First, was greeted promptly and seated. Server brought water, but never inquired if we wanted anythingelsetodrink until she took our food order, and then brought drinks with food. My corned beef was dry and seemed to have been from a package, the tater tots were so over done there was no potato left and it just crumbled. My daughters salad, some of the strawberries had mold and rot spots. My wife's patty melt was great. When the server was informed, no attempt to correct, just 'sorry'. Every place deserves a second try, hopefully not in near future though.

Outdoor seating is nice. Food is pretty good. Past two times we have gone there we had dirty dishes given to us (water glass with caked on food on the inside and a fork with some black crust on it). A little upsetting since we enjoy this place.

Great brunch spot! Sarah R. was a sweetheart, excellent service. Shaded, comfy, outdoor seating, (as well as indoor). Bottomless mimosas. Food was delicious! The tiramisu & crème brûlée cheesecake were amazing as well! Highly recommend.

We enjoyed a lovely evening outdoors with appetizers, drinks and dinners. When we had an issue with one dinner the chef was preparing special for us, Tina personally came to our table to explain the delay and take care of us. She could not have been more accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. Tina provided exemplary customer service and exceeded our expectations. I will return just for the attentive customer service, although the food is delicious as well. The true mark of a superior restaurant is how they treat their customers when a problem arises. I honestly have not dined in a restaurant which the owners handled the issue so graciously, seamlessly, and went out of their way to accommodate their customers. I highly recommend dining at Tina G's. You will enjoy this exceptional restaurant.
