Man I freaking love this place but it always gets pricier every time I'm back. Hot wings and teriyaki wings are a must if you're here. The classic curly fries are some of my favorites of all time. I prefer these over those seasoned curly fries. Oh Frank's, please never change.

Decades of tradition are still available at Frank's. They still have wings that are buffalo New York style classic. I'll always consider Frank's as one of my "go to" places. May23 update - Just as awesome as always

Disappointed. The wings were overcooked, dry, and swimming in grease. They are ELEVEN DOLLARS PER POUND. That equals 6 to 7 wing segments. The dark parts of the wings were pieces that werent even edible, like hard cardboard. Celery and ranch is NOT included. Also got the curly fries. For some reason they had no salt, and def weren’t curly, lol. I have been on a quest for good wings in the area. This is now on top of the list for worst 😪

GREAT service, very friendly employees. Excellent char on the hotdog. Very saucy wings - take extra napkins. Then take twice as many :) Nice outdoor seating.

Quality has really suffered Frank's used to be the best wings around but something has changed. Their chicken quality has gone way down and is now the same cheap factory farmed giant steroid wings with lots of broken bones, strange shapes and lots of fat and cartilage that you find on sale in the grocery store. Its really a shame because they used to be the best and were one of the few places that didn't use this kind of chicken. Its also quite expensive at 11/lb which gets you 6 wings and blue cheese and ranch are extra. I'm a big believer in eating quality meat and they definitely don't have it anymore.

When you think wings, this is the ONLY place to go!! Best wings in the area, have tried them all over the past 13yrs. Seasoned (waffle) fries are wayy better than the regular in my opinion!! Brownies are a MUST, honestly one of the best I've ever had. Green River for the drink if you're a fan! (Disclaimer, I brought this home. They ONLY have celery no carrots)

oh hell yeah. finally good to find a true Buffalo wing joint. wings were meaty. skin was crispy. x-hot sauce was just hot enough (like a Duff's medium-ish-hot). fries were meh, but it's a wing house not a spud hut. not cheap either but there's still good value here getting a good solid Buffalo (not "buffalo-style") wing!

It was highly recommended by a friend, I did enjoy it but to be honest it didn't live up to the hype.

The wings are phenomenal 🔥🔥 I got the mild and the garlic with a small side of curly fries. The wings DO NOT need ranch or any other dipping sauce

It’s not about the atmosphere which is totally fine but the wings are the best you will get anywhere!!!! Always ordering for family gatherings because this is the main request. Love love love their wings!!!

I’ve been coming here for 10years. I absolutely love Franks for the memories! It’s an hour from Downtown Chicago.. but worth the drive to enjoy some authentic Buffalo hot wings. Now the prices have gone up…Covid. $11 for 6-7 wings/1pound. (I remember the days of being able to choose drums or flats..only a memory now) However, I was not disappointed. $52 bucks not including tip.

Friendly neighborhood joint with a classic Chicago style menu. The hotdog was a miss, but my friend's polish sausage looked great and he really enjoyed it. The wings were ok. Some were fried crispy others not. Both the med and hot sauces, seemed to have too much vinegar for my liking. Would def come back to try other food.

Still the best after all these years. 3 lbs of hot easily destroyed between 2 guys.

If you are into wings, these are a must! Franks doesn’t go light on the sauce and their chicken is fantastic. We love all the flavors, and if you don’t want wings try tenders tossed in sauce. You can’t go wrong!

There's wings and there's Frank's for the Memories. And if you don't see the difference, you don't deserve Frank's, keep walking. Prices are up everywhere, treat yourself and loved ones with the best. I've had some good wings over the years, but Frank's wings are art, crisp, juicy, meaty and the flavors are stand alone. A must try. If you're not impressed, I'm either sorry you don't appreciate the experience or jealous you've found a better one. No matter, one should see for themselves.

Glad we tried this place, the Buffalo wings deserved to be inducted in the National Buffalo Wing Hall of Fame. The Owner and the employees were so nice and helpful. The food was delicious, the chicken was so crunchy even fried hard with the sauce. The seasoned fires with cheese was like liquid gold over crunchy perfectly seasoned waffle fries…….Me and my family definitely will be back to this hidden gem🔥🔥🔥🔥

Still the best around and most authentic. The chains don't even come close to the sauces served here. I've been to Anchor Bar in Buffalo and Frank's is a spot on representation. If your up for the hottest suicide sauce I think it beats Anchor Bar hands down. I like to get the garlic butter wings with a side of suicide and extra hot so I can better control the heat plus the wife likes the milder wings so everyone wins. Highly recommend!!

I have been going here since I was a kid and the wings never disappoint! This is one of my favorite places to go in Mundelein and this is a must go to place if you are in the area. My go to order is the mild wings with ranch and fries on the side. There are some places to sit on the inside but you can do carry out as well.

Love this place! Hands down the best wing sauce! Medium is my personal favorite and I highly recommend it.

Franks for the Memories is a great little spot to get authentic Buffalo wings straight from the source. Around since the early 80’s, this delicious restaurant will leave you stuffed…and with wing sauce on your lips and fingers. Yum!

Going into Frank's For The Memories is like a little blast to the Past. The inside is so cute I wish I could have taken a picture of it I didn't wish to disturb other customers. We had called over the phone and ordered wings and Fry's. I ordered sweet potato fries and Teriyaki wings. The wings were good but but 7 wings for 11. 99 seems much. The sweet potato fries on the other hand were very delicious crispy on the outside and cooked tender and creamy on the inside they were perfect fries. I would go there again but only for the sweet potato fries since there's not a lot of places that carry sweet potato Fry's.

Best wings in town. Quality chicken. Super friendly staff. Old school joint with no frills. Stop by Frank's and get yourself a pound (or two)!
