I really enjoy eating Taco's El Norte in Mundelein as I really do enjoy there steak taco's and there nocho's with cheese and that you can see them making all the food right in front of you as you sitting at the counter and enjoying your drink. The staff are extremely friendly and very helpful to help you with all your need's with your meal the restaurant is kept extremely clean and is kept to feel comfortable for your time there.

Good authentic Mexican Food. The staff and food were very good. I took my order to go and everything tasted amazing. Minus one star for cleanliness of the restaurant.

I called to place an order as I’ve done numerous times and I’ve always ordered the same thing a Chile relleno burrito but once I got to my job and sat down to eat it was a steak burrito and I don’t eat meat so I was upset and then I called to let them know that my order was wrong and they proceeded to say I didn’t order correctly and that I confirmed for steak burrito. I reiterated that I’ve been there multiple times and I always order the Chile relleno and they would make me my correct order.

Terrible food. Huarache was so hard that I literally could not bite through it. I got extremely sick the same night I ate the food. There are plenty of other better Mexican restaurants in the area you could eat at. Would not recommend.

My tacos came with a watered down salsa, no limes and the tacos were mediocre at best. Not a place i would go back again.

Absolutely great food…I order from here at least twice a month. The steak burrito and steak tacos are mouth-watering and to die for. You will NOT go wrong getting these or anything else from TEN!

Have been going here as a family for 32 years. Mundelein location is set up more for take out, but there are a few tables.

Great little place with great food!! Had the 3 steak taco dinner, my wife had the combination #2. Everything was fresh & delicious. Guacamole was delicious as well. Highly recommended!

No complaints whatsoever! My go to Mexican restaurant in Mundelein. Staff always friendly, food always delicious, guacamole always tastes fresh! I have never had a bad meal at this restaurant and I always leave fully satisfied. Five starts is not enough for this place. The food always exceeds my expectations and they have the best Horchata in town. I order and the food comes out no more than 5-10 minutes later.

Shrimp tacos were delicious. Chips and salsa also amazing. Great service. Would highly recommend.

I love this place and keep coming back. I think they've been here over 25 years. Everything is delicious and reasonably priced. The picture shows their pork green Chile burrito. It was huge and big enough for 2 meals.

Best enchiladas I've ever had

Got the enchiladas verde with rice and beans. Very good! Great flavor, just a tiny bit of heat, and tasty pulled chicken. Extremely nice people that work here! Enjoyed their salsas and tacos as well. Definitely would recommend! Ordered at the restaurant and we didn't have to wait very long at all. Thank you!

Disappointed before; tried to give them another chance. Ordered from Postmates. Several sides missing that were paid for. Called the restaurant and they told me they never had an order for me and hung up on me. Called again and they told me the order was correct (apparently the sides were mislabeled in the app) and they "did not have time for this" and hung up on me AGAIN... I paid a bunch of money for several extra sides, got none, and they were extremely rude. The burritos we ordered were awful, too...they were soggy and fell apart. DON'T BOTHER.
