We had lunch after a long hike. The owner was extremely polite and cooked for us himself. The food was excellent and at an awesome price point. Best local food we had so far in Bali. Since I'm gluten intolerant he prepared some fruit and rice for me. Great experience and we highly recommend it.

The food was delicious and the owner was super friendly. The restaurant looks really nice and the view is absolutely amazing! They offer local cooking classes that have exceptional reviews but unfortunately I couldn't attend because my friend was ill. The ginger coffee was out of this world. I highly recommend going here if you're staying in or near Munduk!:)

Fantastic attention to detail, food is really fresh and so tasty! Definetly the best nasi campur/goreng and dadar we have tried so far in Bali. Made is super friendly and helped us with local advice too. This is a must in Munduk.

Beautiful place to eat, and the food is amazing too. We made a stop here to escape the rain on the bike. 100% recommend. Portions could be a bit bigger for me but I have that problem all over Indonesia.

A true gem in Munduk. Excellent food, fair prices, and very friendly owner. We ate there 2 nights in a row and loved it both times. Highly recommend.

Delicious local food made & served by a warm, friendly couple and excellent value for money (50k IDR for meal & drink). They have a terrace which would offer beautiful views on a clear day but sadly it was pouring down with rain when I was there. I had nyatnyatan Bali - braised pork with Balinese yellow sauce (curry) served with vegetables & steamed red rice. Would repeat.

We had a lovely time learning how to cook comforting local dishes with Made and family! We got to choose the dishes we preferred (3~5 courses available) and with 3 courses we took about 2 hours. Not too challenging for newbies and we had a great time. We had our “homemade” Christmas Eve dinner right after overlooking the (albeit overcast) view - perfect! Top picks are the bergedil and goreng jagung!

If you have a stay in the area of Munduk, this is your place to be!! Made and Putu know how to create an atmosphere of true hospitality. We felt so welcomed and they did awesome serving delicious food. No matter if you like to have breakfast, lunch or dinner. We also did the trekking tour to the waterfalls and an amazing cooking class. Highly recommended🫶🏼

We stayed 3 days in Munduk and we dinner every night here! The food is amazing and the host (Made) is super nice and a great person. For sure we will come back. This restaurant is a must if you are in Munduk.

We had dinner & lunch at Made’s this weekend and everything we had was fabulous! The spring rolls were my husband’s favorite. The owners are so nice & the restaurant is family owned. His wife & daughter are amazing cooks. The dessert of the traditional crepes was so delicious!! A must try! Highly recommend dinner or lunch at Mades!

Went here for dinner based on the reviews and we will be going back tonight. Best meal we've had yet in Bali after over 1 week here. We tried the Lawar Bali, the Pepes ikan laut and the Nasi Campur Waring Mare's, and all three were delicious. The spices were perfectly done, with more flavour in each dish than anything we've had elsewhere. The owners are friendly, the Singarajha beer was the best Indonesian beer yet on this trip, and the view was lovely. Free wifi. We had just done a cooking class in Ubud, but enquired about Mare's cooking class as the food was so good. Photo of the current options for those who are interested. You pick one menu and make 1, 2, 5 and 3 or 4. Around 300k/person. If we were staying longer, we might consider doing a second class, but would rather just try out more of their delicious cooking tonight.

We came here twice during our stay in Munduk. The view is nice, the staff is very welcoming and the food is AMAZING ! Service is quick and good, the waiter even spoke a bit of French. We tried the Lumpia Goreng, Cap Cay, Mie Goreng and Dadar Gulung, everything was tasty and delicious!! We highly recommend this warung!

A must if you’re in Munduk. Great local food for good price. The place is so nice with amazing views. We had lunch and we decided to come again to have dinner because we loved it. The owner is also so nice. We will come again if we’re in the zone.

If you are in Munduk you have to go to Warung Made’s Munduk. The food is so awesome, fresh and tasty. The seasoning is spot on with all fresh herbs. We came here every day (4 days for lunch and dinner), so we tried almost the whole menu and everything is super good. We especially loved the lumpia goreng with the peanut sauce and the dadar gulung is the best one we had on Bali, woow that taste mmmmm so good. There is more you also really have to try; betutu ayam, sate campur, kare ayam and the special “lawar gabi”. But what I said before, everything on the menu is a 5/5. The owners are super friendly. Made (owners name) is like the friendliest guy you’ll ever meet. He dropped us of at our homestay and also picked my boyfriend up when he was not feeling so well. Without any cost. Then he also did take away one night when my boyfriend could barely get up out of bed. He brought it to us on the scooter. As a finisher the view is really, really beautiful. Awesome meal with great view. The food is fantastic, and we order more than what we usually eat. The spices on the dish is good, and in Indonesian, we say that bumbu nya meresap banget. You should leave a space for their dessert too.

Lovely people, amazing food with great prices and also a fantastic view! We did a cooking class the next day because our dish was so delicious that I had to learn how to make it. We had a wonderful time, the cooking class was really nice and now I can make this super tasty dish back at home as well. I would recommend this place to absolutely everyone!
