I was here 6 years ago with my friends and I thought let me visit this place t again with my girls yesterday. The restaurant was super busy and had a nice vibe. We were sitting outside next to the water fountain it was so good as it was too hot. And the restaurant is kids friendly even in the toilet they have changing dapper station for kids. Well our waiter was Robin or something towards there I can’t remember good the name but start with R. He was so friendly and he gave us a good service.and he was fun too. We appreciated your time and your patience.the restaurant is next to they busiest street in Munich for shopping so it’s good to stop there for good Italian food.the location is good. The food were tasty too. The risotto was really good but bit pricey for that size.my Beef carpaccio was nice also just bit small also for that price maybe I’m comparing Munich to Salzburg or Italy 😜.but overall the food were really good and fast service. Inside also it really nice with a open kitchen we’re you can enjoy looking at chefs preparing your food.. but you need to reserve cause with corona they do take maximum numbers for different slot of time. I did my reservations through opentable app was quick and convenient.

They some work on the plating, seems too uninteresting. The taste was okay, but not worth the money you spend. You definitely need a Reservation to get in. The place seems like a really good place to celebrate something in your life with a lot of drinks.

One of the better restaurants that we went to during our trip. Reservation is a must as you can hardly find an empty table when you walk-in. It was so good that we came twice during our 5 day stay in Munich. Service was prompt, friendly and professional.

The appetizers are good but the steaks are flavorless and tough. I got the €45 filet expecting a perfect steak and instead got beef jerky. Really disappointed. Seems to be a hip spot to go with nothing else to show for it. You're paying for the location and the status.

Just excellent food and top notch service. Though this place is a bit on the pricier side but definitely a great place for grills. They also have a beautiful selection of desserts. The place get very busy in the evenings and weekends so I highly suggest booking ahead of time. Ambience great and definitely very attentive staff. Very recently I also had Saturday breakfast and it’s awesome. I highly recommend their home made bread rolls and their jam. Just mouthwatering and just great customer care.

Huge and very elegant restaurant. Food was quite delicious, service very friendly. And the whole location plus it is located at the Maximilianstraße (very luxurious shopping street in Munich) makes it the perfect restaurant for a special occasion.

Very understanding staff, we asked to change table since I was cold and they found a solution very quickly - super location with different dining areas and always cool lounge music - you must try their steaks !!

One notable highlight is their open grill concept. The Aperol spritzes perfectly complemented the warm ambiance and relaxed atmosphere of the restaurant. The staff was very friendly. During this visit, we opted for vegetarian dishes. But would try the grill next time.

Made a dinner reservation online moments prior to walking in. We were seated immediately with no wait. The restaurant has a nice ambiance. The service was quick, waitress spoke English and was friendly. The food was good and didn’t take long at all but it wasn’t hot. It’s worth trying for a nice dinner and drinks.

Extremely high prices for decent food and terrible service. After having waited for my main dish to be served long after the rest of my company finished eating, the waiter insisted me upon inquiry that the food had been served (it was obviously not). What an absolutely outrageous statement! Once it was time to pay we were told “it was an absolute exception to allow the check to be split upon 5 people”. What a joke. Paying took another 20 minutes.

Made a last minute reservation and was seated instantly. They had a sommelier who recommended a good wine and service was fine. However the food was just okay, nothing really special. We had octopus, tuna tartare, two pasta dishes and the house beef salad which was honestly the best thing on the menu.

If you are in Munich and don't want to play a Russian roulette with your food, this is the place to go ! Supremely high quality of service and exceptional testy food. Our spontaneous dinner with friends at Brenner Munich was a delightful experience. The ambiance of the restaurant set the stage for a wonderful evening. What truly stood out was the service – our waiter was exceptionally friendly and attentive, ensuring that our dining experience was comfortable and enjoyable. The food was delightful, with each dish well-prepared and flavorful. However, the desserts deserve a special mention – they were absolutely fantastic and rounded off the meal perfectly. Beautiful, huge restaurant! Definitely a happening place! The chefs cook in the middle of the restaurant so it's fun. Service was decent, our waiter was friendly but very busy so it was difficult to get his attention. The seafood was all overcooked. The menu description of the food is better than the taste. Our favorite was the beef salad and the pomodoro pasta.

The atmosphere of this place is warm and welcoming. I visited the place for lunch and enjoyed a pasta and fish. The bread comes to your table in mini shapes and various flavours: I liked the one with olives. Pasta was not exceeding the expectations, but good, while I would recommend more to enjoy the sea bream. It was perfectly cooked and flavoured with garlic and parsley inside. The waiter stated that it was fresh and that was also my impression. He was also a positive note about this lunch. A greek guy, with very nice manners and a smile that accompanies your time at this place.

As somebody born in Munich the Brenner restaurant has always been one of my favourite restaurants. Great atmosphere, best food options either brunch, lunch or dinner and very good service, 10/10 would recommend.

Great atmosphere and location. Food was ok. We ordered “Knackig gegrillte Zucchini und grüner Spargel”, nothing special about it. Also, we ordered “Pfifferlings risotto”, it was fresh. The “John Stone Tomahawk” was great. In general it is good to spend your evening but food is not the greatest.

What a night! I reserved our table on OpenTable for my anniversary. When we were on route to the restaurant, our car broke done only 8 minutes away. I called the restaurant to explain the situation and they worked with me by pushing our reservation back. 3-4 hours later, after getting our car towed and renting a car, we finally made it! They were super courteous and worked with us through the whole process. Once we sat down we were presented with the food and wine menu. After we ordered, we immediately got our wine and the appetizers and main dish all came out in a timely manner. As far as the taste of the food goes, I was very surprised at how great it tasted. Their Salmon was very juicy and their homemade pasta couldn’t have been better. Even the guacamole was amazing! The food was very filling and the service was truly on par! I would definitely come back here again. Very classy and don’t have a single complaint.

Fantastic taste in food and ambiance. Gives the upscale feeling as you enter the restaurant and continues to deliver what's required of an upscale restaurant. People working here are super kind and attentive. Food is delicious and good for your money. It's not too pricey, and I drank a hell-of-a good old fashioned at the bar, before the dinner, while waiting. Easily recommended.

Perfect! Just perfect :) It’s a little bit more expensive than a regular restaurant in Munich. But the food and the service were on fleek! We were also happy to see the famous Bayern Munich star, Lewandowski, eating in the same restaurant on his 33rd birthday few tables away from us :)

A lovely gluten free coffee experience, that is a great flat white cappuccino and a cream Brule!!! I strongly recommend! Polite staff and cozy atmosphere!

Great food, absolutely horrible service. If you are on the younger side and casually dressed they don't treat you well. Don't buy bottles if you are not grey haired and in a suit, they take your wine bottle away for "keeping" without telling you, and then decide when you get to refill your glass, you have no way of seeing if its actually your wine you get or if its been changed/drank from.

Nice location, even if it is in the city center is quite and relaxing. The service is good: staff is friendly and professional. The food is in Italian style, very well cooked and prepared and with quality ingredients. Homemade pasta and great meat selection. Either for lunch or dinner or just for a drink or a breakfast suitable. Desserts and patisserie are delicious! Space is wide enough also for strallers. Recommended! Better to reserve in advance.

Very poor quality ingredients and badly prepared food. I have been a number of times over the years and things have clearly declined. Now a disappointing oversized fast food cafe rather than a quality restaurant experience. Topped off with a manager losing the plot as she screamed in Italian at a staff member in the middle of the restaurant. I feel sorry for the waiting staff. A very uncomfortable experience.

One of the best place to eat in Munich. Very posh. Wine worth of the price. Mix of people that love good food or simply a people that wanna be seeing like plastic single women looking for a rich daddy. Great service very professional.

Nice ambience and lovely service. The housemade bread was amazing & so was the creme brulee! However the mains (pasta, steak) were average, especially given the price point.

Food was really good but the service was terrible. I had to wait 30min for someone to come to take my order, and it was after I asked one of the waiters that I wanted to order. The terrace outside is beautiful and the ambience is nice.

Nice aesthetic and lively vibes; our waiter was very friendly and attentive. Great espresso and mocktails along with desserts. The hostess was a bit stiff and rude and wouldn’t seat us outside. Overall would recommend to try out.

Tasty and reasonably priced self made pasta, octopus good (but still seafood in Munich). Rather fancy clientele, Surprisingly good service for such a large and busy restaurant (up until we asked for the cheque which took about 15min). Overall prices rather on the high side.

Electric atmosphere. The restaurant was huge and cavernous. We were lucky to get a walk-in table. People watching alone was enjoyable. The menu is simple but delicious.
