The best gyros we had in Athens. We stumbled upon this place on our way to Acropolis and it was so good we came back a few more times. Loved the lunch special gyros, salad and coke for €8. Friendly service and food came out fast.

WoW, This is a hidden gem in the centre of Athens. The waitress was super friendly and explained every question in detail. The souvlaki was simply superb. I loved the pomegranate orange juice. It was fresh and refreshing. All the delicious food come at reasonable price. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Went to have lunch with the family and glad we came across this place! The food was delicious and the service was impeccable. The lady that was waiting on us provided us with some complimentary dessert samples and they were very delicious. It's definitely a great place to swing by for a meal that isn't overwhelming like all the other tourist spots.

Tried the Greek Salad and it was delicious. The portion size was generous and Leunera provided excellent service. She has given a free sweet treat to us 😍

We ate here twice during our stay in Athens. It was really lovely food served by a fantastic person who was friendly and attentive. We also had free desserts, one time apple cake and the other orange, extremely delicious 😋

Genuinely one of the best places we ate at in Athens. It was our first and last place we ate at in the city! The customer service was lovely and the free little desert slices at the end was lovely and a unexpected bonus. A real hidden gem! The vegetarian Souvlaki was incredible!

If you are in the mood for amazing Greek food and good service, this is the place to stop!!! Seriously the service was amazing. And the food was so so so delicious. They also gave us free dessert which absolutely won my heart, along the super friendly lady that served us. We ordered Greek salad, moussaka, and chicken gyro and they were all amazing, and very tasty! Prices are also very reasonable

If you're in the area and craving a bite either on-the-go or to sit-down, don't miss this spot! We had the moussaka, gyros platter, and fruit salad with Greek yogurt and honey - everything was 10/10. I believe this place is family run and you can tell by the level of service. Highly recommend!

We found this place over the Google search for the nearest traditional food. They serve the best gyros. We tried chicken gyros and pork gyros, both of them were exceptional and gave the best traditional food experience. The owner was really kind and friendly that she at the end offered us complementary mpougatsa. It’s a traditional sweet made of vanilla and cinnamon powder. 100% recommended. ❤️

We randomly found this place while wandering in Athens, and we don't regret our choice. Not only was the food really good (we had gyros), the team was also really friendly, they came to check if everything was alright and offered us free dessert at the end of our meal.

Super friendly staff/owners. The best Greek salad I have ever had. Their secret is the family made olive oil! Fair prices, close to the tourist areas and transit.

I stopped at Iliada Cafe for lunch and it was very good ! If you look for a simple but good place to stop and have greek food, it is the one. It is close to Ethnikos Kipos. The waistress was very dynamic and had a great smile. She is eager to help and make sure you feel comfortable. The food was very good. I had tzatziki with pita bread, the chicken souvlaki and some juice for 11€. Mind that if you are alone the tzatziki might be a bit much. It is better to share it between 2 people. Greeks are very generous and I couldn’t finish it. Never the less I enjoyed it very much. They offered me some custard bougatsa for dessert. Thank you !

Best cappuccino we had in Athens and the most welcoming staff. Also lovely pies and very good prices. We visited twice during our short visit in Athens because it’s really nice here!

Seriously one of the best Greek food places we ate at during our entire trip. We really tried to stay away from tourist traps and find more local, authentic, homemade stuff. This place was THE BEST. Freddy (the owner) does it all himself and he is a Wizard. A food wizard. The best pork gyro, Greek salad, & musakka, we ate. We even gave us free ice cream. We got on late that day and needed food at midnight and he was open and happy to receive us. I love Greece, and I love this place! Freddy is awesome and so is his food. Seriously, you need to come eat here. It's right on a street corner, tucked away in a neighborhood kinda off the main road.

So glad we found this place for a quick and easy mid-day meal. We had coffees, a few of the souvlaki pitas (delicious and a great bargain at 4.5 each for being so filling), and a fresh fruit salad. Will be back for the convenience, price, and quality of the food! Service was really nice as well. Such a kind and helpful server.

Casual restaurant with delicious traditional food. Excelent service. Honestly, considering the quality the price could be higher.

Amazing place, maybe small but really warm. I had the chance to order a ceasar salad and was amazing! We also get the dessert, a tasty orange cake!

Seriously just no point going anywhere else for Greek food. Utterly fabulous, and great service, and insanely reasonable prices. Don't get me wrong - it's not high end cuisine, but it's better than that. Could not recommend more highly. We had the pork souvlaki, and a Greek salad (we've been to Crete, Rhodes, and Athens, and this is the best we've had). Oh my. We would struggle to spend more than €10pp. Wish we had room for a dessert. We'll come back hungrier and have that. They gave us a free apple cake though! Yum!

This place was absolutely amazing ! We stumbled across it. It was reasonably priced and the waitress was so so sweet. They let me and my friends pay separately which was nice because sometimes other restaurants give you a hard time. This place was perfect for a nice lunch ! I got a chicken gyro and it was super yummy. The service was quick and I can’t stress how welcoming the waitress was. 10/10 would come again.

Some local Greek lunch served by super nice people. Pita gyros, cabbage lamb dumplings and some free dessert in the photos. Extremely full after stuffing all of this down :)

What a find! I highly recommend! We had a fresh smoothie with our choice of the fresh fruit available, a chicken gyros and a club sandwich. We were not disappointed! Surprisingly wide choice of beer and drinks along with the food menu. While the food was great and fresh, it may sound odd but the fries/chips here were some of the best I've tasted! Perfectly seasoned (and I think some added herbs  in the seasoning!) crispy on the outside and soft inside. Most importantly the service was warm, friendly and impeccable! Appears to be family run so its casual and friendly yet just the right amount of "professional " We visited this place by chance after walking the streets of Plaka. After passing all the fancy restaurants on the shopping strip, along the way back to our apartment hotel we stoped by here and sure glad we did! If you are nearby by this is the perfect place for a stop to get a cold smoothie, a beer or glass of wine and some food. Thanks! PS: There's also a nice little mini mart on the corner to pick up the usual to take back to your room.

Little corner restaurant that fulfills your expectation 100%. Everything we tasted was so delicious and tasty. Don’t hesitate and try it! Greek authentic restaurant with really good prices. Friendly service.

The best place for food in Athens, Greece by far! With delicious food and great service. Passing by it seems like a small coffee shop, but is so much more and definitely worth sitting down for a full meal as everything we ate was delicious and perfect portions. My wife and kids will definitely be returning for a meal on our next visit to Athens!

Cute little family run place. Tiny but great menu. Can get busy during lunch but worth the wait. Pork souvlaki and Greek salad are amazing. Serving staff super friendly. Prices are very decent.

Best Gyros in town. Great Service. Iliada is the best waitress in town. She speak Spanish, English and more. Thanks so much for your service

Found by coincidence, but this is the best food you can have in Greece💙 friendly staff, reasonable prices, everything worth the waiting! Thank you very very much! Greetings from Slovakia :))

The Greek salad was delicious! Very big and colourful. The tzatziki sauce was okay, not the best ever, felt like there were pickles instead of fresh cucumbers. The pita was crunchy and the Greek “burger” was just fine! The best thing about this place is the friendliness and kindness of the young waitress, she is just adorable! However, the service is very slow and you have to count with it, sometimes getting food takes up to one hour. Minus one star for this. Otherwise, surely recommend :)

Absolutely fantastic service and food! Everyone was so nice, food was quick (and honestly probably in my top 5 meals in Greece despite just being a quick lunch). Such kind people and delicious food.

👍 A place where locals eat. Not a tourist spot. Food is spicy and full of flavor. Beware the spicy sojouk is actually the hottest food we tried in Greece.
