Historically important stairway that connected the lower and upper citidel. Now- you can't tell the difference between the citadel and lower city. 130 yrs ago I visited and the stairs were natural stone, but with portions sliding. The modern concrete version is in much better repair- but lacks the original appeal. Still: worth while to get the view

Words are not enough for one of my favourite places in the city. Spectacular view and delightful sunsets. Great atmosphere especially during summer nights when many people gather all together drinking and chatting. The best way to go from the city center to the old castle.

Amazing view from here😊 They renovated the stairs in May when I stayed in Patras for a month. Saw an amazing work turning unstable stairs to a very stable ones!! Safer for everyone!

View gets better with every step. Can chill on the stairs to watch the sun set or hang in a stairside cafe

Walk up the stairs! You got this! Me and my boyfriend did it on a cloudless, nearly 100F day, and we were perfectly fine. Bring water and enjoy the view :) also, read up on why the stairs are significant, it adds to the adventure. There’s a restaurant right at the top and the Patra Castle isn’t far, more pretty views and history.

Nice place. A must visit if you are in Patras to get a view of this city and the blue ocean. Really loved this spot and spent 20-30 mins sitting on the stairs and just staring at the views.
