Best scenic view of Munnar hill from top. It cost 200 per person which is more worthy . Bus ride with scenic beauty of tree plantations. Then hill trek for 2-3 km with spectacular view and Thar . It will take around 2-3 hrs to cover all by taking pictures it's a popular spot if you are in Munnar area to visit. it is a protected area. We have to take the national park bus from the foot hills to get to the park. The main attraction is the Nilgiri Thar which is very similar to Goat and is a species near extinction. The ride to the hills is amazing, you go through the tea gardens and then transition to forest area. There is a waterfall as well on the way. Lot of opportunities to get great photo.

Views ara amazing but you pay for a ticket and you can barely walk 1km. You just get on a bus, the leave you on the top and there is only 1km to walk. Not a place for hiking, just to enjoy 30min or 1h some amazing views. Makes no sense to get on a bus for 10min and not be able to hike to the top.

Beautiful national park highly recommend it. It's a lovely trek and seeing almost extinct Indian mountain goats is just special. Please note I would get there early maybe as soon as they open otherwise there are huge cues.

Eravikulam National Park offers a captivating experience for nature enthusiasts and wildlife lovers. The lush landscape makes it a picturesque destination. The highlight is undoubtedly the endangered Nilgiri Tahr, providing a rare opportunity for wildlife enthusiasts to observe these remarkable creatures in their natural habitat. Eravikulam National Park stands out as a must-visit destination for those seeking a blend of wildlife, adventure, and natural beauty. There is an area outside where people can buy snacks. The tickets have to be brought and bus takes the people on a tour. The tour on hills is amazing. The way is narrow and a lot of haze can be seen far away.

I’m giving four star or even five star for nature beauty .. unfortunately the trip is managed very badly, even in week days 1 hour Q to get a bus .. Buses are not maintained properly. Those who loved the nature, it’s worth to visit . Bus will take you to hill stations there you can see the goat 🐐 and come back. Nothing else

Beautiful place. Can park the car and book ticket Adult- 200 Kin’s (5-12) 150 Normal camera - 50 A bus takes up to hills. Can enjoy the beautiful view on the way. Can spend about an hour in the hill. It has around 1 km walkway . Not much to see specifically there as one can enjoy same beauty without walking also . Can see the highest peak of south India . A nice gallery with history of the Park displayed well with pictures and text. Cafeteria has snacks for quick recharge . Clean Toilets both up hill and down . Parking free.

Don't expect to see wildlife. You may spot some mountain goats if you're lucky. That said, you'll get the best views in all of Munnar from here. The facilities are well maintained. Do book tickets online to avoid long queue. A really good spot to slowly hike up the path and spend some quality time with panoramic views.

We reached the park around 9:30 am and purchased tickets directly from the ticket counter. There weren't many people in the queue, so we quickly boarded the next shuttle bus. The view from the hill was amazing, and we even spotted a few Nilgiri tahrs from a distance. It was a truly enjoyable experience. To avoid long queues, it's advisable to visit before 10 am. When we returned from the hill, the queue had become quite long

Visiting this place was an absolutely wonderful experience. The view was nothing short of mesmerizing, with lush green hills stretching as far as the eye could see. Particularly during the rainy season, the sight of clouds intermingling with gentle rays of sunlight created a captivating panorama that one simply cannot afford to miss. To reach the top, we had the option of availing the national park vehicle, which required a fee of 200 per person. This vehicle conveniently dropped us off at the designated point, from where we embarked on a scenic walk towards the summit. The walking path was well-maintained, ensuring a pleasant journey. Additionally, for those seeking a more convenient option, an e-vehicle service was available. However, it's worth noting that opting for the e-vehicle would incur additional charges. In conclusion, the experience of visiting this place was truly memorable. The breathtaking view of the hills and surrounding greenery, particularly during the rainy season, was awe-inspiring. While the journey to the top involved either a picturesque walk or an optional e-vehicle ride at an extra cost, the overall experience was well worth it. I highly recommend making a visit to this remarkable destination.

Very nice place . Entry fee was about rs.400. About half of the destination will be travelled by Van (they will provide )and the another half is to be walked on our foot , we get a good view while walking , can take lots of pictures (it's is also important na😉),restroom facilities are there ,at the top there is a ice cream shop (not that small) can have some food there. On the way we can see mountain goats (I've added the pictures). It will be fun to travel with family and friends. Tell your experience too..

    1. Book online but even after booking online you have to stand in another queue to collect a hard copy. Defeats the purpose of online booking. 2. Lot of parking space but still gets full. 3. Come early. Better reach by 8. 4. Tea, light snacks available. 5. Toilet available. 6. A van will take you inside. 7. 1 km hike. Very easy. 8. Great view. Be patient. You will see the Nilgiri Tahr. 🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐

A place that you should explore in Trivandrum. Occupying 55 acres in the middle of the city its spacious and next to an aquarium, museum and a history museum. The animal complexes are spacious and its quite an experience. Lots of animals, snakes and birds

This place is heavenly! Flora and Fauna at it's best! Try to visit early morning. Park starts at 8am & closes at 4pm. Parking is available at the park. The park officials pick you up in their vans and drop you at entrance from where you can take a walk (1km)

Amazing place with a breathtaking view. Once you enter the park you will have to stay in a long Q to take a ticket. But you can make use of their website to book tickets. They will take you in their bus to certain point and from there you can take a walk further up the hill where if you are lucky you can see mountain goat which is particularly found in that region. Must visit place.

A must visit national park if you are in munnar. You will get beautiful sight of mountains covered in greenery and surrounded by clouds. You will have to buy tickets from the base which is 200/- . A bus will drop you on the top point. After that there is a walk way of around 1km. Which will lead you to beautiful scenery. There is one cafe too.

This is a must visit place in Munnar to get a breathtaking view. Weekdays are less crowded. Ticket price is 200 per person and they will take to the top point by bus. Ride is through tea plantations and there are small waterfalls in between. Once you reach the top, we can walk 1km up the hill to reach the end point. There's a snacks shop and a cafe on top for refreshment.

A must visit place in Munnar. Went in the month of December. Had a breathtaking experience. The scenic view of the park and the view of the Western Ghats from the park is just amazingly beautiful. And add to it the presence of the Nilgiri Thar goats in the park... Just amazing!! The way to the park is via taking entry tickets at the counter and then a bus will take you to a check point uphill. You get dropped off and the rest of the way to the top is to be covered on foot. Though golf cart like vehicles are available for those who are unable to walk uphill. Interaction with Nilgiri Thar goats was the selling point of this trip for us. They are very beautiful. They roam freely in the park and can sometimes come down on the road also where you can take photos with them . You are allowed to interact with them but without causing them any trouble. Also you are not allowed to feed them. You can stay in the park as long as you want or till the closing time. There are buses leaving frequently and you can take any bus anytime. The park is a very beautiful palace to have a landscape view of the Western Ghats (given the visibility is clear). Really enjoyed our time there :)

Absolutely beautiful place. The confluence of clouds, greenery and mountains is so so amazing. You have to be very lucky to find a tahr (an animal). But either way the place is very beautiful to visit. The bus ride will take you to the to of the park, from where you'll have to walk to the top. Depends on you how far you want to walk. Raincoats are advisable, especially during the monsoon months.

This is a clandestine beauty, that's still unspoilt (as much as possible) by humans. The landscape and flora (we couldn't see the Tahr) are breathtaking, and the trek up is quite easy and very worthwhile. The weather was the best, sunny but cloudy all together making it a real pleasant experience. One tip: Do book tickets online as there are separate lines and we had to wait for more than an hour to get the bus which takes us up.

The best national park in Munnar. Entry fee is 200₹ per person. The entire area is protected hence, you will be transported to the top by a bus provided by the park. Enjoy the breathtaking views from the bus. Once you get off the bus, you can continue walking. They also offer battery-operated vehicles at a charge of ₹800 per vehicle, accommodating up to 5 persons. We had the opportunity to see wild goats. The entire view is truly amazing. I recommend visiting this place early in the morning as there tends to be a lot of rush in the afternoon.

Eravikulam National Park is an absolute must-visit on your itinerary, boasting unparalleled beauty. Consider purchasing tickets online due to potentially heavier weekend crowds. Commencing from 8:00 AM, a convenient bus shuttles visitors from the parking area. Along the way, you'll find a couple of food joints and washrooms. After a scenic drop-off, a leisurely 1 km walk awaits to reach the final destination. For added convenience, electric vehicles are available at an extra cost. Overall, it's a fantastic trip for nature enthusiasts to savor

A very well conserved and maintained National park, it was a really great experience. The overall view and feel of this place was surreal, the nilgai's here are very friendly but one should make a note of it as they are wild animals. Make sure you visit this place in the early hours in order to avoid the crowd. One should visit this place when they happen to visit Munnar.

BOOK YOUR TICKET ON ONLINE‼️ Book your tickets on the official website of ernakulam national park to avoid the queue during holidays. It's one of the best place to visit in Munnar. Keep in mind that the experience varies with the season .during the monsoon, you'll encounter flowing water, clouds, and lush greenery, while in January, the mountain may be dry and less cool. Plan your visit accordingly.

The scenic beauty is the beginning of beautiful places. Beautiful gardens, meadows, and tranquil surroundings will warm the mind. My family and I loved it a lot. I was amazed at such a beautiful and quiet place in a busy city. From here you go to the zoo, the museum, the park and the aquarium. If you are looking for peace and tranquility, this is definitely the place to go. When we sit in the woods and wind, the time is running out. I absolutely love the beauty of that landscape........

A must visit place in Munnar ,mind blowing views and very good experience. Rs:200 per adults ticket price and additional 50 rupees for DSLR . Paid car parking is mostly full so they will advise to keep vehicle outside along the road side (since it is the only option) at our own risk. Better to get here early morning or after noon since there is a long walk open to sky. They will take visitors in their own van to the top and from there need to walk about 2 kms to the last permitted point. We can see Nilgiri Thar(Varayadu) on the top point every where roaming around but not allowed to touch them. Completely plastic free zone so remember not to take any plastic bottles or eatables to the top. Very well maintained walkways , we can feel the beauty of nature, breath in fresh air and relax. Better to keep an umbrella in hand bcoz it's mostly rainy at the top and no any shelter along the walkways.

Eravikulam national park is in a verge of destruction.. Everything that I expect disappeared from the spot. I was so excited to visit the park and its rich variety of flora and fauna. I just got the chance to see Nilgiri Tahr at Anamudi peak- the highest Peak in Western ghats or South India. 📍Anamudi is located within this Park. Rest of them still remains in geography texts. No evidence could be found. As it was not the season for Nilakurinj flowers, I lost the Chance to witness its blossom. Better luck next time ❤️

In peak season there was long line to buy entrance tickets. It was 200 a head for Indians. This can be skipped by booking online earlier. Then there was a long line to get into the bus. The bus takes you to a point inside the park. The drive is short and very scenic through tea plantations. No option allowed other than to wait for the bus. At the top there is a " Tahr walk", it is a fenced walkway on the hill where many Tahr can be seen. The Tahr are not shy and come quite close to people (do not touch them!). You can spend as long as you want on this walkway. Some great views of Anamudi and the surrounding areas from here. There is a small snack shop, washrooms, and a souvenir shop on top. To go back down you have to take the bus (another long queue). Aside from the long wait time in peak season, it was very beautiful. Possibly coming early in the morning when the park opens would be better.

Nice park, entry charges- adult 200 kids 5-12 years 150, below 5 no ticket. Professional camera are chargeable. You will be taken inside the park in there vehicle and will be returned to the entry point. This is one of famous tourists spot in munnar. Must visit if you are with kids and family. For adults this might not be a attraction and it depends if they are not a family lovers.

I would recommend going to Top station munnar rather than this park. After reaching the park you need to take one of their bus to travel to the top and that is also not to the very top. It's a long walk from there and certainly not for elderly people. There are some scenic views but you even need to buy a ticket for that (would recommend online) so it's not that worthy. The animal for which it is famous cannot be seen anywhere.

Awesome place ! They do not allow private vehicles but they provide bus pickup and drop at 200 per person. Bus is well maintained , takes about 15mins and Journey is mesmerizing, with beautiful view of tea plantations and small waterfalls. There is small cafe and museum at the drop point, from there we need to walk for about 1km (we can take electric vehicle at 800/vehicle) but recommended to walk as its good and well maintained. By the time we went top it started to rain and we couldnt see the view from the top but experience is amazing. We can also see some nilgiri tahrs.

Nature is a source of beauty and inspiration for many people. It offers a variety of landscapes, colors, sounds and smells that can enrich our lives and stimulate our senses. Nature also provides us with essential resources and services that support our well-being and livelihoods. However, nature is under threat from human activities that degrade its quality and diversity. We need to protect and restore nature for our own benefit and for the future generations and Restroom are available in the hill root palace

Amazing national park to visit. All ages can enjoy this park specially the mist on the hill. Good place for pictures. The tour is of 2 to 3 hrs. First we need to buy tickets at bottom. Cost is 125 per head. After that stand on queue for bus on above the counter. The bus will take us to inside park. The view is spectacular with full green in surroundings, tea plantation. The bus will drop at some point and then we need to walk to enjoy the view and fog. In between we can see forest goats. The walk is around 3 kms. Please carry an umbrella as there are no shelters and you will get wet if rains. The same way we need to come back by bus.

Follows covid protocols. Towards the left of Zoo entrance. Tickets are priced at 30 per adult, 10 rs for children in the age group of 5 and 12. For children under 5 it is free entrance. You could also opt for family pass at 70 if you are a family of 2 adult and 2 children. They rarely have change or less willing to accept denominations above 500, so keep lower denomination currency notes when you go there.

Most of the time, crowded with visitors. Better to reach early morning. . Very peaceful, clean place. Highly reserved natural environment. Apart from hill goat, you can see many more varieties over there. Not only of animal, biodiversity is also one of the thing that attracts. Ticket line is little hatched, but, It is worth watching. Some Kms walking is amazing at the hill top in between the clouds. Visitors are transported to the hilltop by a forest department bus, where you can see a good number of Nilgiri Tahr along the road. A neat and clean cafeteria and washrooms are there at the hilltop.

Eravikulam National Park is located at a drive of 45 minutes from the City Centre of Munnar and is situated atop a summit of Western Ghats. Spread around a land stretch of 97 kilometers, this is one of the most sought place for Munnar sightseeing.

A national park is a park in use for conservation purposes, created and protected by national governments. Often it is a reserve of natural, semi-natural, or developed land that a sovereign state declares or owns. Although individual nations designate their own national parks differently, there is a common idea: the conservation of 'wild nature' for posterity and as a symbol of national pride.

Eravikulam National Park is located at a drive of 45 minutes from the City Centre of Munnar and houses a plethora of flora and fauna and accounts itself amidst the other UNESCO World Heritage Site. There are around 132 different species of birds, 19 amphibian species, 26 mammalian species, 101 species of butterflies, and 20 different orchid species here. Nilgiri Tahr, Nilgiri langur, Atlas moth, Nilgiri marten, small-clawed otter, Lion-tailed macaque, and a rare variety of the leopard and lion are some of the chief wildlife to be spotted here. If you are an avid bird watcher, be ready to treat yourself with the sight of Black & Orange Flycatcher, Nilgiri Wood Pigeon, White Bellied ShortWing, Kerala Laughing Thrush, and Nilgiri Verditer Flycatcher.

One of the best attractions in Munnar..the park opens at 8 in the morning with buses lined up inside the park to take you to the top where the Nilgiri tahr can be located along with beautiful scenery along the way. The park is well maintained with restroom and snacks available. One thing to be noted is that the next "nilakurinji" will bloom only in the year 2030.

Beautiful Place in Munnar that must be visited. Even there is an Entry ticket of 200/- that is worth for it. It is3-4 kilometer to reach the top of the hill . Bus ride (included along with the entry ticket)to hill top through the tea plants and mist was very amazing. A lot of hair pin curves are there .On the top we can watch the Nilgiri Thar, long view of Hills. During my visit there seen seven more Thars . Wash rooms and Coffee shops are available top and starting point.

This is a must visit place if you are travelling to Munnar as the endangered Nilgiri Tahr can be seen up close here. Best time to visit is when the park opens or in the afternoon. I went at 10am and it was extremely crowded. Once you reach, you can park your vehicle at the base of the park. Tickets can be bought at the counter using cash/card/gpay or online through the Ervikulam website. There is a cafe where you can get coffee or some snacks. From here you need to board one of the park buses to go 4km to a protected location where you can see the Tahrs freely roaming. There is a museum where there are photos and information about the Tahr and other species of animals that can be found in and around Munnar. This was really nice and informative. The walkway is for almost 1km from here. Spotting the tahr amongst the fog was quite a fun experience. There is a souvenier shop here selling keychains, caps, tshirts etc. where you can get something to remember the exeprience by. Make sure to carry cash as no other forms of payment is accepted at the souvenier shop.

Enjoyed the views. Try to book online for saving some time in Queues. After buying tickets visitors are directed to a boarding place , from where they will provide mini buses to the park location. There is a snack bar and toilets available at the bus drop point. Main activity is nothing but a long walk to the hilltop. At the hilltop you can't find enough seats to sit with family. No shops or water available at the hilltop. Natural streams of water are there-refreshingly cool and drinkable (I guess), but not sure if it is available through out the year. You can enjoy the views from the hilltop while walking to the top.

A peaceful place, there is nothing much to watch or feel, It just that you could get to see tahr (kind of goat) and some scenery. If you are able to visit on 2031 then you can even see the flower called The Neelakurinji flowers (Strobilanthes kunthiana), which blooms once in 12 years,.. From very first entry they'll provide bus service starting at Rs. 200 for 3 Kilometers which i definitely say totally absurd and daylight robbery. If you are a student, then you will be asked to pay only Rs. 150. It's free for children below age of 3 I guess. Keep a bottle of water with you. Near by only one restaurant. And there are plenty of tiny tent shops outside the premise which is totally unhygienic and dirty and you gets only corn, carrots, tea, coffee, and fruit cuts. After reaching the 3 Kl meters.. You'll have to take a walk for another 1 klmtr, there you get to see some nice views, and Tahr. I went with my close friend. Nothing else. I've got food poisoned within 6 hours after having a slice of cake. She was not even wearing a gloves. Try to not to eat anything from that area. Go to the near by town buy something packed food.

It is national park location nearby munnar. Must visit place for its amazing natural beauty and tea plantation. You can enjoy great views of tea plantation on the way also. There is one small waterfall on the way also. Here , you have to take local bus to reach on hill top from base camp. They are providing electric cart ride for 5-6 persons group with cost of 7500. We had opt for that. We had some beautiful photos on the way to top and seen some mountain goats 🐐. There is one photo museum on top . And one flower forest that blooms every 12 years ( next is 2030). Some great views for amazing photos. All over good experience.

Such a calm and serene place to visit, you have to park the vehicle at their parking area which is free of cost, have to pay for entry tickets and wait for their bus. They will take us on a bus to the top, from there you walk up the limit or pay for a golf cart which takes us to and fro. No food items are allowed, they will search our bags, there are small cafeteria nearby and a Soveuneir shop, where u can buy things. After enjoying the nature you can get down and wait for the bus. N. B: Ticket counters are quite busy during peak time of season

Eravikulam national park situated next to anaimudi peak. It is famous for Nilgiri Tahr. If you're lucky, you can see these Tahr. Please bear in mind, it is a forest and try to make a calm environment. Don't make weird noises as it will scare the wild animals. The entry ticket is 200 for an adult and they will carry you in a van to a spot midst of the mountain range. From there you can walk further to the hilltop. You will witness a beautiful landscape, clouds, tiny waterfalls

Eravikulam National Park is a must visit if you are coming to Munnar. The tickets for Indian Nationals are prised at Rs 200 per adult and for Foreign National at Rs 500 per head. A Mini van is given to take the passengers to top of Mountains. The view from top is breathtaking with mist all around. Also you can see Nilgiri Thar while you arrive on top of mountain. One can take the electric vehicle on chargeable basis to the peak point or walk. The same mini van will take you down after you are done with the visit.I felt walking is better unless you have senior citizens with you.

During your stay at Munnar, Eravikulam national park is definitely a worth visiting attraction. Also known as Rajamala, Eravikulam is a home to Nilgiri Thar, an endangered species of goat. This is a ticketed attraction. From the parking area, there are safari vehicles which will take you up the hill to a particular point. From there you can trek up spotting the friendly goats. From here, you also get a breathtaking view of Anamudi, South India's largest peak. The park is closed from January to March as it is the breeding season for Nilgiri Thar. While visiting, please note: The park is an ecologically sensitive area. Try to avoid loud noise as it will scare the goats. Don't touch the goats. They are very sensitive. The national park is a plastic-free zone. For those interested in trekking, the management organizes special programs, details of which will be available at the information counter.

The best place to visit Nilgiri tahr, the edemic mammal to south of Western ghats, also home for some endemic bird species also. Good place to visit with family and children. Use umbrellas and sunscreen to avoid heavy sunshine.

Fellow travellers don't miss this place. The Kerala Tourism organizes cheap buses to reach this place from base point. No private vehicles allowed and hence no traffic jams on narrow hill passes. Highest place near Munnar, cool, misty, full of greenery. You can easily spot the Niligiri Tahir (mountain goat). Make sure you reach early as this place closes at 5:00 pm and you have walk a certain distance. The sights from up here are amazing and the mist makes this place heavenly.🙂🙂

Very attractive park in ChattaMunnar forest. We visited it as a rest station at the way which lead to the tea museum. The magic of nature is over all the park. We enjoyed the waterfalls scene, the green area , flowers , the bridge look and the birds sounds.

The Eravikulam National Park is around 13 km away from Munnar town. Every year sometime during January-February, which is the calving season, the park remains closed to the public. Neelakurinji, the plant which flowers once in twelve years, grows in abundance here making the park a must-visit place during the kurinji flowering season. Anamudi, the highest peak in South India, is situated in the park.

  • 3/5 Neil D. 3 years ago on Google
It's located in just a few minutes drive from Munnar town (towards Coimbatore). One should plan to visit only after April 1st as the park remains closed during the month of February and March every year, as it's the calving season of the rare Nilgiri Tahrs.

  • 5/5 Banu 3 years ago on Google
The drive in the buses from the base of the hills to the top is scenic with tea estates around. It requires a walk of around a km to reach the top of the peak. Tahr ( Varai aadu) are in abundance and grazing. Certainly a must visit. The food in the small canteen was hygienic, neatly packed and good.

Kerala's first national Park. Land of Nilgiri Tahr (Nilgiritragus hylocrius) and Neelakurinji (Strobilanthes kunthiana)! Entry Fee is INR 200/- with pick and drop by park's own minibus/van. Great Location for Scenic Beauty and family treaking (Long Walk experience). There is mini museum, Resturant and Restroom facilities available for the visitors.

  • 5/5 Ananthan R. 2 years ago on Google
A great tourism destination. Please check before you go there, whether it is open or not, because at times the park would be closed due to mating time of the Nilgiri Tahr or climatic conditions. The ride to the park entrance itself is a great experience. Cheap entry rates, better if you book online beforehand. Good for travelers in groups. Arrive on early morning before 8 am so that you can avoid the heavy rush.

Adventures , walking in the clouds , best scene of mountains, cold but not so Cold when you climb mountain takes energy , so senior citizens keep in mind ,

  • 4/5 Anish A. 2 years ago on Google
This is a place worth visit for the facilities, professional approach, safety the department provides which usually we cannot see in many places in India. Plus points are the trip to the top most area and the views from there. The minus is that they could have breed and tamed some of the endangered Tahrs so that tourists get a feel of those... (There are 2-3 up there but 10-20 would have given more satisfying for the visitors...)

  • 4/5 somesh m. 2 years ago on Google
The Eravikulam National park experience is basically a short walk in a designated well maintained road within the park. You can observe the famed Nilgiri Tahr lazing around as you walk. They are friendly and accustomed to human presence. Priced at 100 per person, the ticket seems little overpriced. But majority goes to conservation of the park to enusre the species is protected and has space to thrive.

Climate we visited was completely misty so could enjoy the complete view. But the walk is really nice in between of the mist, liked the place but not able to spot the Thar

  • 3/5 Pradip P. 2 years ago on Google
Beautiful place with pleasant weather. No Animals spotted, there is a very less chance of spotting Nilgiri thar deer.

  • 4/5 Sanket S. 2 years ago on Google
It's an okay place for the money you spent. The entry fees are 200/- per person. You get dropped by bus to the start point which has a cafe and souvenir store. From there it's another 20-30 mins walk to the top. The views are magnificent from there.

One of the best places I've ever seen in my life. You can drink original mineral water from the falls. If you are lucky enough you can find yourself walking in the midst of cloud. The feeling is like there is nothing beyond this except Jannah.

Nice Day Out spot. A well maintained Bus Service takes you up the Hill. The Last 2-3 km you need to walk. Good view all around. Neat & Clean facilities. Entry tickets a bit overpriced.

  • 4/5 Yash M. 1 year ago on Google
Worth visiting if you appreciate the natural beauty and greenery of Munnar. Unlike its name would suggest, you will not find any animals here except some goats and monkeys. What you can expect is a lot of walking and stunning views. Recommended visiting time would be around sunrise or sunset.

It is good scenic place to visit...we visited in month of June ...they run buses through tea farms for transfer from parking to the park...clean and well maintained place... mesmerizing view of tea farms

  • 4/5 doctoms72 9 months ago on Google
The vistas and views are wonderful, but otherwise not very much to do. Everything can be done within about an hour, including the bus ride up and walk to the top of the mountain. A little pricey for for nationals. The private tour is likely better, but it costs quite a bit. There are some great waterfalls. Not much beyond the views. Not great for young kids. Excellent for photographers and nature lovers.

Eravikulam National Park is a breathtaking natural wonder! The lush landscapes, mist-covered hills, and diverse wildlife create a captivating experience. The highlight is the endangered Nilgiri Tahr, a delight for wildlife enthusiasts. Trekking through this pristine sanctuary is a must for nature lovers!

  • 3/5 Pranay B. 4 months ago on Google
This park is a verdant haven, boasting lush greenery that soothes the soul. While it lacks diverse wildlife, the majestic presence of Tahr goats against the scenic backdrop is a unique highlight, creating a serene atmosphere for nature enthusiasts.
