This is a must have meal/experience. Seriously the best meat I’ve ever had in my life. The beef is so juicy and crispy it just melts in your mouth. We lined up at 11:45am on a Wednesday and got seated at 12:15pm (they actually have 3 different locations all within 200m of each other so look out around the street for the restaurant sign/logo). We lined up at the main place and a lovely chef moved us to one of their other hidden locations so our wait time was easily cut in half! The staff are also so lovely!!! We were the only westerners here and they speak English quite well! Such good price for the set meal - definitely get 1.5 or 2 cutlets it’s so worth it. I am currently typing this eating my last piece and I’m so sad. Seriously guys.. you need to come here it’s that amazing! You won’t regret it at all!

The BEST Katsu I ever had! The service crew & chefs greets you with a smile. Explains the menu in English and how to grill & eat. They are very attentive on your requests. Amazing ambiance. We really enjoyed it! Totally worth it in visiting Japan!

Came to this branch based on reviews that no queue is needed. Was seated right away and food served after few minutes. Loved the beef cutlet with it’s thinly deep fried marinated layer. People who don’t like the taste of beef can give it a try as it doesn’t taste like beef at all after grilled thoroughly! Side dishes were tasty too! Chef and waiters were friendly and gave prompt service.

A must have, for beef lovers. The meat is so sweet and tender, and you can grill to your preferred doneness! We visited this place twice during our stay. Word of advice, come queue early!! On the second visit, the staff came out to guide us to another nearby branch cause the queue was too long!

As I was waiting in an hour line here, my thoughts were: I hope this place is worth the hype. Spoiler alert - it really is! This is a must try meal/experience in Osaka. There’s a few locations to choose from so give it a try! The service was incredible, the chef even came out to bring us tea while we were in line. The food was absolutely fantastic - never had katsu beef before but it totally works. 10/10 would recommend!

Had dinner here. Part of a chain - quality control is good. Unlike other outlets, this one had a smaller menu. Service was efficient and friendly. Restaurant is relatively spacious but you may need to wait at peak periods.

Conveniently located right beside Namba Station (Midosuji Line), always loved their food but long Q at Tokyo outlets! Happy to find this outlet with no Q, pretty reasonable pricing (think 2,300Y for 195G of beef). Comes with 4 sauce & 3 sides, crispy Katsu on the outside, tender & juicy inside! Staff are friendly even though I am not Japanese speaking, must have!

Very yummy gyukatsu, portions are substantial and the grilling experience was also a novelty. Minimum order is one set per pax, so be prepared to eat! Downside is that ventilation is non existent so clothes will smell of barbecue for the rest of the day.

Good food, good service, the queue was worth it, they got like 3 outlets near to each other and all are busy like crazy. Overall the food is very nice, try mixing the pickle veggies and Gratted Yam to the rice, and cook the beef medium, and eat it together. Umami explosion 💥💥🤤🤤

Best food I have ever tried in my Osaka. The beef is tender as hell! Recommend to order 1/1.5 cutlet since it is a bit oily. You could top up if you need more. Definitely will visit again!

One of our favorite food eaten on our Japan trip. I’ll be sure to have this again every time I visit Japan, it’s that good. They have multiple branches. In Osaka there’s 3 that are close to each other. So what we did was one of us waited in line while the other check out the nearby branches to see how their line was. In the end we just stuck with this branch. It seats about 32 inside. We arrived on a Tuesday at 7:30pm and by 8:02pm our order was taken while in line. So by the time we sat at a table at 8:20pm, our order was almost ready. The menu is very simple. You choose your cutlet size: 1, 1.5 or 2. Initially my partner and I ordered 1 each but one of us got 1.5. No regrets. The thickness of the cutlet can vary. While my 1 cutlet was thin, my 1/2 cutlet was thicker. At each table there is a rolling basket for your bags. Each person gets a cooking stone. The fire lasts about 20 minutes so don’t take your time cooking your cutlet pieces. With each meal you can get 1 refill on the rice and 2 sauces. The garlic sauce was amazing and the cabbage salad was refreshing. You also get potato salad, rice, soup, cod roe and mochi. For 4,530 yen for 2 or about $30 USD was worth every yen!

It was a really nice experience. The beef done-ness can be controlled by the amount of time you cook it on the hot plate. The tenderness and juiciness was out of this world. Come during off-meal times to skip the long queue. The service was excellent too! I would highly recommend this restaurant if you are a beef lover.

Very good gyokatsu that melts in your mouth. My first time trying with a dash of wasabi. It elevates the taste of the beef in your palate. Interesting experience. Like a typical eatery in Japan, you do come out smelling of the grease in the air. But I guess that allows you to recall the wonderful time you had here. 😊 Must come back to eat!
