We stayed at Lub d for a whole week and really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is in a perfect central location near Honmachi metro. If you like a bit of walking you can access Shinsaibashi and Namba within 10-20 minutes, but if not the metro station can take you anywhere as you have the red, blue and green lines less than 2 minutes walking away. Despite being central our room was very quiet and we slept very well on the comfy bed. The double room size is not that big but for Japan standards it was very adequate and had enough space to lay down our luggage and move relatively freely. The toilet size was also quite nice with a bathtub. The hotel staff was very welcoming and friendly. There is daily room cleaning if you choose so. In summary, It's a great budget friendly hotel in a great central location.

Stayed here during our stay in Osaka for around 5 days. Couldn't have asked for a better hotel! Rooms were cleaned every day, all of the staff were nice and there were coin washers on the ground floor, which for me was a very helpful feature. Excellent location as well, very near the Honmachi Station. First stayed at Lub d in Bangkok and was also very happy with the service then. It's really great to know that their brand of service and quality doesn't change across the globe.

The hotel is perfectly situated, only a couple hundred metres away from the Hommachi station (3 subway lines connect at this station). A walkable distance away from the famous Dotonbori and the many food and nightlife activities in the area. The staff speak English and are very friendly, always greeting you in and out of the hotel. The rooms are a good size and the provided amenities and services are excellent, both the bathroom and room are thoughtfully laid-out. I stayed in this hotel for 2 weeks and I would definitely stay in this hotel next time I visit Osaka.

The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. The room's size is sufficient for two people, they provide basic amenities and they clean the room on a daily basis. The location of the hotel is pretty nice, located just to next a market and not to far from Dotonbori. Access to train is easy, there are several station around the hotel. Its a good experience staying in this hotel.

Pleasant stay for 5 nights. Friendly and helpful staff. Fast check in and out. Room is slightly bigger compare to similar ranking in the city, can at least open a luugage. Secure as need keycard enterance after 11pm. Just round the corner to Metro station, but for one with escalators is about 5-10mins away. Remind that it's not close to JR station, so is a good place to stay for inner city trips.

Lub D Honmachi was my favorite stay during my travels. I had the pleasure to stay at this brand new Lub D on 2 separate occasions for a total stay of 14 nights in September/October. I am no stranger to Lub D and their other properties, though I must say this is their best location and property thus far. (That says a lot as Lub D is known for outstanding properties) - The staff was beyond accommodating and always eager to help with a smile. I really got to know them during my stay and I want to say thanks to Kozo, Max, Mio, Suzuki, Oui, Meidi, Aya, Clarissa. I hope I didn’t forget anyone! Their genuine love and excitement for Japan, also added a special touch to my experience. The rooms were not only comfortable but also well appointed. Check-in was a breeze, and the service throughout my stay was absolutely incredible. The property was always clean alongside great room service. I can’t wait to return when I’m in Osaka.

Th e hotel is like new, Room is spacious clean, Room size is small but normall in Japan, I stay on Double Room is sutiable to unfold the 25" luggage, Bed and pillow is a bit hard but still comfort Air Conditioner is a separate Individual unit you can adjust Cooler or Heater by your own decision There is a good udon near the hotel just 30 second walk to the left and also Convenient store and at this street you can walk to Shinsaibashi, Dotonbori about 15-20 min Staffs have a good english communication, they provide some amenities at groud floor If you stay here and need to use Elevator please use Honmachi and take out from Exit 18 (follow sign to APA Hotel) and just crossing the street which is more convenient if you have a lot of luggage But if you ok to use the stair, Exit 9 is nearest Anyway, nothing have all good, I have some concerns that the Hotel not provide a water even they have a dispencer but didn't allow to fill the bottle and the soundproof is not too good.

Great experience at a lovely and friendly hotel.

I have come back to this hotel so often that they claim I am the longest staying guest they have had. Positive - the staff is very nice and I like the location. Negative - the internet here is terrible, your wifi connection is unstable to the point of being unusable. Only reason I am giving a low review is to highlight this to management to get it fixed. It was working fine my first few trips but it was unusable to the point I moved to a different hotel instead of extending. :( I will revise my rating once wifi is fixed
