Now this is a place skipping on your next trip to Osaka. I was there last week and frequent many places around Osaka for business. I pretend to not understand the language so I can get a more authentic experience. The staff was quite rude to some of the other tourists and foreigners there and there was some uncomfortable flirting done by some of the staff to one of the guests there. Many bars in Japan can feature elements of this but with such a variety I would suggest going elsewhere unless you want something that feels like a poor man's yakuza bar.

I would give this a negative rating if I could. I came in with my wife and initially enjoyed the vibe, but that went south very quickly. After a few drinks, I noticed that the owner (who exclaimed before we were drinking that he is married) was making some awfully obvious moves on my wife that she was not comfortable with. He was quick to compliment her and decided he had to "feel if her muscles are real" without asking for permission. The owner did so while putting me down, so we quickly left as a result. I do not wish to see where that may have led to had we had more drinks, and were less sober. I cannot stress enough to steer clear of this bar.

A fetish bar for scowling at you? I asked if we paid at the end or per drink not that it matters. That put the barmaid into a complete rage. It was impressive to see someone hold such a strong full bodied scowl for such a long time. But she wasn't just a one trick pony. She could hold this scowl whilst fanning your cigarette smoke back into your face. Fortunately we had a new barman replace her. Who turned out to be just as grumpy. He pointed out the completely un-Japanese tip jar was empty. But I don't think I could physically carry enough change to keep him happy. I have never left a bar in Japan without the bar staff saying goodbye. He just blanked us. Has the potential to be very good but the staff need some training. No cover charge drinks are reasonable prices. Draft beer available. Karaoke was okay but the selection was smaller than other places.

Beware, owner cares more about flirting with women more than his own wife. Real creeper vibes from the owner. Chit chatting and socializing with customers is fine but to use that as an excuse to hit on women who aren’t interested or already taken? Creeper and home wrecking vibes. Oh did i mention he was married?

Excellent place! Don’t let the small size fool you, excellent craft hot dogs. Owner is very personable and willing to mix crazy cocktails for us. We had a great time. Cheers from Louisiana!

Small but fun! Come early for a sit. No charge for the karaoke and drinks are half off until 9pm for happy hour! Great deal

What a fun karaoke bar! It’s public, not a private room karaoke experience. It’s very small, maybe sits 10-14 people at the most! But, that makes it better because you end up talking to everyone. You’ll get a chance to sing pretty quickly- highly recommend if you’re looking for a chill but fun night out.

Great bar with a ton of songs to sing. Jacko's the bees knees, bloke knows how to make sure you have the best time. 10/10 would recommend

Just popped in for a few drinks and had a fantastic time! I loved being able to sing karaoke and have a friendly chat with the bartender! Definitely recommend if you're by yourself and want a good time!

I meant to write a review about this place back when I went in May 2019 but it slipped my mind. My wife and I stopped in to sing karaoke and we had an absolute blast. We met people from all around the world. The owner (Brian) was behind the bar that night we came in and he was a pretty awesome guy. I enjoyed his witty and sarcastic sense of humor since I'm essentially the same way, lol. He was super welcoming and made everyone at the bar feel at home. At the end of the night since the trains stopped running, he walked with my wife and I to get a taxi and helped with translating to the taxi driver where we needed to go, which we really appreciated. It was great talking with him about the Carolinas. I'll be returning to Osaka next month.....I hope to stop in again while I'm in town. Highly recommend.

From what I remember, had a great night here. Nice cozy place to get to know ppl and how bad they can sing.

Cute bar on the edge of Dotonbori. You can do karaoke here with a machine that lets you queue up songs. There is no seating charge but the drinks are somewhat pricey. Not too bad considering you can sing for free though. The female bartender is very cool. When I visited there were mostly tourists but also a Japanese man who was very friendly and an incredible singer. All in all, highly recommend a visit.

Moonshine was a blast. We spent several hours hanging out singing and meeting new people. Mostly was tourists which is great for me. Being a tourist in Osaka! The bartender was super kind and very helpful.

Small karaoke bar with only a few seats at the counter. It's in the first floor so you cna always Chek the vibe before going in.

Nice karaokebar when you are an alone traveller or with some friends. Bartender speaks English and it is very interactive and friendly! Love to get some songs in here! Definitely go back next time.

This place is great!! All the songs you could ask for. Welcoming atmosphere and cozy enough to feel like you know everyone by the end of the night. Would highly recommend going and posting up on the bar because it will fill up fast! Staff is also awesome. Arigatō gozaimashita.

Great little karaoke bar. Often a wait of 10-15 minutes to sing if other people are already there and have entered songs, but sometimes it is immediate. Good drink selection. They have their own moonshine alcohol which is a treat.
