👍 This was a good hotel. The room was nice and clean. The breakfast was interesting. The location is a bit tough though, the closest metro station is a 10 minute walk away, there isn't even a bus stop close by. The wifi in my room was not great and cutoff often. People often mention room, nice,

We didn't expect much for this price but we were surprised for good. The rooms are bigger than the japanese standart, very clean and they have everything we needed. The mix between modern and traditional shukubo was just perfect. The Breakfast, although not my type of breakfast, was almost the same as what we ate in a Buddhist shukubo at the Mount Koya, very good and authentic. The meditation classes for Zazen with the Monk was very funny and learend a lot. I would definitely come back to this Hotel.

For us the location was perfect, a bit away from the madness but still everything was accessible within walking distance. Service was outstanding and really helpful. Rooms where cleaned. Only comment would be that we had some stains in the carpet from previous visitors.

The staff was very helpful, welcoming and accommodating, but it should be very clear to anyone visiting that this isn’t really a regular hotel (wasn’t clear to us, our mistake). Very humid room, bad wifi, somewhat removed from the main attractions and a very frugal vegan breakfast served only from 7-8.30AM. Meditation sessions were only available in Japanese in the 3 days we were there. They have nice details, like bottles of water and slippers to take home, but we will not be coming back.

Rooms are spacious by Japan standards. Many amenities and features onsite and in the room. I stayed in the 2 bed room. The floor is a traditional Japanese tatami mat with a place to take shoes off at the door. There is a switch that turns on zen sounds, which was lovely to find out. The corner included a shrine area for meditation. As for furnishings: 2 beds, low table with 2 floor chairs. Short desk with short chair, closet, mini-fridge, safe, bidet toilet, air conditioner. Included are slippers and robes you can wear. You can purchase vegetarian breakfast served 7:00-8:30. They also offer different activites such as meditation and sutra tracing. Staff is very respectful, kind, and patient.

We stayed for 2 days in the double room. Pros: nice, clean room, looks nice and simple when you step in, they have a small fridge, tea, slippers, usual bathroom amenities, they have a priest or monk that comes in once a day but we were busy around that time. Really friendly staff, they greet you when you come in, go out, try to help, etc. Cons: room was a bit small, bathroom smelled humid and musky the 2 days we were there, it was also small and there wasn't a lot of room to move around, put products down, etc. Really bad WiFi that cut out a lot, No laundry machines in the building, check out is an hour earlier than usual, bed and especially pillow were horribly uncomfortable and flat, didn't enjoy that at all and didn't feel like I slept well, the area doesn't have anything and it's a bit of a walk to the 7-11,lawson,etc, as well as the subway was a 10 minute min walk, it got a little loud at times as some motorcycles and loud cars frequent the area. Overall, didn't love it here, I loved the staff and it's a nice building and overall concept but the rooms were lackluster for the cost and the area was inconvenient to get around in the last days we were there, I would recommend a bigger room for anyone staying with 2 people min if you don't mind the area.

Stayed in an room with double room with an single bed. It’s an quiet place with access to public transport and airport bus within 10 minutes walk. Service is good, location is next to the Shitennō temple. The staff / pamphlets they have provide you with information about potential Osaka activities and restaurants etc.
