Worth a visit if you're in town and not too far away! The pizza, sandwiches, oden, homemade cheesecake and such were all incredibly delicious! Lots of cute stalls serving food and some small knick knacks, the market itself is tiny but lots of character and locals visiting (even on a weeknight) too!

A haven for anything and everything related to kitchenware, this is a one-stop centre to get those goods. It might be just one long street but its packed to the brim with varieties of kitchen stuff. From chopsticks to pans to knives, you will be spoilt for choices as you browse around here. Make sure you compare pricing cos some of the same items might differ in price depending on which shop you go to.

Interesting location to equip your home dining experience with Japanese serving, cooking, and decorative dishes. Though there is a lot more here, the equipment stores are a shopper's delight

All you can think of for both the professional and home kitchen, and in all price ranges. Especially if you are looking for knives as a tourist, you can find at almost any price point. Beware: you get what you pay for. 25000 yen is a nice starting point for a quality knife.

Packed with people shopping on a Sunday. Not as big as kapabashi but it does sell your kitchen necessities and ample of cutlery choices as well.

Amazing venue for all your house and kitchen needs. There are dozens of not hundreds of shops selling a wide variety of items. You could easily start a professional kitchen just from this area. The knife selection is great, multiple stores have a huge selection and great pricing. It is easy to get lost looking at all the food replicas and then drawn into each ship looking for treasures.

Great street to find all sorts of cooking items and decorations for gastronomy. Highly recommended. You can find anything from cutlery, clothes, signage, cookers to restaurants here. It is easy to reach and always worth a visit if you need anything regardless of adding to your kitchen or preparing to open a restaurant. During a festival on Sports day (9th of October in 2023), they recreated their famous Taiyaki, which not only looks good, but actually tastes like a nice Taiyaki cake. The Taiyaki is 1m in length and around 11.68kg total.

Heaven for the world famous kitchenware of Osaka, this place has plenty of wholesale shops selling everything needed for a kitchen. The famous Osaka kitchen knives with umpteen varieties ,each neatly explained by the store staff and suggest suitable knives based on specific needs. There are knives suiting left handed usage too.Chop sticks, bento boxes, knives, cutleries, mandolins, knife sharpener s,whisks, etc; The items are available tax free for foreign passport holders and are neatly packed in secure and safe cartons.

Came here because we read it was one of the best places to buy a Japanese knife. We needed up buying two and I’m looking forward to using them when we get home. Some of the shops offer tax free for foreigners, just remember to bring your passport. Multiple shops offering bowls, cups, mugs, chopsticks, kitchen wear, etc etc. There are also some nice souvenir shops, surrounded by good places to eat. Makes for a fun afternoon. Would recommend checking it out. Also good for a rainy day since shopping strip is mostly undercover.

Really cool street selling mainly cookware such as knife's, cutlery and ceramic bowls. Plenty of beautiful designs and prices weren't too expensive. A couple of souvenir shops too but mainly cookware.

All types of kitchenwares, this is the place where you can get the best professional grade knifes. A lot of shops sell stuff which seem to be useful for restaurant or shop owners, e.g toilet signs, table ketchup container set, and the most interesting part : fake food items made from silicon which you see in many restaurant's display items. You'll find some cool wooden or bam oo made kitchen stuffs (ef trays, pots, cups, bowls) not generally available outside Japan.

You can spend a whole day here, so much to see , so much variety. It's shopping along a few connected streets. There's an entire street of anime figurines.

A street full of the shops selling cooking machines, cooking tools and dinning utilities. Interesting place, you can find all kinds of cooking tools from paper to metals.

This place was a home makers dream come true, it sells almost everything your heart could desire. At less than half the price you'd expect to pay back home in Australia. The pottery and knives were exquisite and had me wishing a had a whole lot more luggage space for the trip back. Definitely worth the visit 👌

best place to be if you’re into expanding your collection of kitchenware. move aside muji, doguyasuji’s got this. if you’re into acacia tableware, you should check out 100 yen shops like Can Do & Daiso as well.
