Good place, Big enough to spend 30mns or even more if you wanna take time for pictures, good and various sceneries, for 500yens i recommend.

Many plants that can’t be seen unless you go to Africa or South Africa l, very impressed!

A fun side trip if you’re already in Tsurumi Park. Maybe not worth a trip to specifically see the plants though. ¥500 well spent.

A must visit!! They have all gigantic plants. The concept is you go visit plants from various continent in the world. Such a superb place.

The alpine and arctic areas are good places to go to cool down.

There are three houses for tropical, dry desert, and mild weather plants, flowers. Typical city public facility for education purpose.

Has different zones for various types of plant type or geography (tropical, alpine, carnivorous, succulent, hibiscus, orchid, etc.)

Amazing! They had an awesome carnivorous plant exhibit and it's definitely worth a visit if you're into tropical plants! Also in summer sneak off to the boreal forest area or the polar flora rooms to cool off!

One of my favorite places in Osaka. The entrance fee of 500 yen (I think it was 500?) is such a steal considering how wide the place is and the variety you can see inside. I didn't know it at first, but I walked in thinking it looked like one of the filming locations for Alice in Borderland. Turns out it is! I think from time to time they have some events, there was a cactus festival ongoing when we visited. For the most part, it is well-maintained, though some improvements with the exhibitions would be nice. You shouldn't miss going here when you come to Osaka. Few people when we went there on a rainy weekday.

Very beautiful and large botanical garden. They even provided us ice packs when I went since it was so hot outside. Super cute place to visit.

Lovely done, the employee are super nice, you can get a cooling pack for your staying for free. The garden is very clean & interesting to look at.

I really enjoyed it. I thought it was wonderful that they gave out ice packs to prevent heatstroke.

Great place. We really enjoy this indoor botanical place. Came pretty late, only spent 30 minutes there before closing. Could have spent 45-60 minutes in there. The park outside is pretty happening place as well on sunday, people picnic, dancing, biking, walking with the dog, kids playing with water fountain. Plenty of food trucks as well (probably sunday only?). I regret didn't come earlier with hungry stomach.
