I travelled as a solo backpacker and the experience with this hostel is fantastic. The staff are a group of young people who are extremely friendly and helpful. The room is clean and tidy (they clean the room every day). I gave the location 4 stars because it took around 10+ minutes to the nearest train station, it is still within walking distance and not too bad if you are OK with walking. Besides the location, everything is perfect for me. There is a convenience store just next to the hostel. Great restaurants opposite the street. The yamato courier where you can send your luggage is also within 5 minutes walk.

I loved the hostel in general, very pocket friendly (for Japan!) And super clean. Rooms are a bit small and plain, but the coziness makes up for anything it lacks. It's perfect for travellers on the go, their space downstairs, kitchen, lobby and common room areas are very comfortable and spacious. Lastly, the Hostel staff is very friendly and ready to help for everything! Cheers, two happy Indian sisters :)

We loved this hotel, the rooms are clean, good Japanese size and the bed is comfortable. The staff is very kind, attentive and always willing to answer any question you might have. The kitchen is very spacious and useful. They have pans, plates, glasses and several spices to help you with your cooking, they also have free coffee and tea.

We had a great stay at the hostel. It’s super clean and efficient. Room was cosy and comfortable. Great kitchen facilities and a good location between a number of metro stops. Very friendly and helpful staff too. Would recommend a stay again!

We really enjoyed our stay at &and hostel. The location is really convenient for walking into Dontonbori and catching metros from a few different stations nearby. Rooms are more spacious than I expected and really clean. The hostel has good kitchen and laundry facilities. Overall, it was really good value and a great stay!

About a 10min walk to nearby subway stations. Located next to a family mart, which is very convenient when you come back after a long day. Towels are 200y each. Rooms are basic, but clean. The only real downside is the room doors have gaps, so you can see the light from the hallway, but also hear everyone loud and clear.

The hostel is very nice, friendly staff, comfortable place with a beautiful kitchen always available for cooking. Rooms are clean and well organised with a queen size bed which occupied almost of all the space and a small toilet which however is really well equipped. Overall, it has been a really good experience and I recommend this hostel both for couples and alone travelers.

The best deal in Osaka. I didn't have a prior reservation, but could walk-in and get a double bed that was luckily available. The room was great, spacious and super clean. The staff are courteous and resourceful. Definitely worth checking out, if you are in the city.

Clean, spacious (in the double deluxe) and a 24 hour laundry machine. The kitchen was also spacious and useful and there is a nice lounge area. The walls are a little thin so you could hear what was going on in the hallway but everyone was quiet and respectful so it wasn’t a bother. A short walk to the subways.

I arrived a little late and had problem with the bidet in my room, they then offer me another room with an upgrade! The staff are also so helpful, they try their best to understand and accommodate you. Definitely recommended! Will stay here again when coming to Osaka :)

It’s a beautiful hotel, very clean and the staff are lovely. They have a lot of amenities and are very helpful with requests. I loved staying here 10/10 recommend. The terrace room has a massive terrace and it’s amazing

Good location, in a nice quiet area, although not that close to metros. Family mart is literally right next door. My first room was incredibly cold due to a large not insulated balcony, however they moved me with no issues.

This is an affordable, modern and clean hostel in quite a good location — only a 5-10 minute walk to nearby stations. The rooms are a little more spacious in comparison to others we’ve stayed in in Japan. A few more hooks for hanging things up in the room and a couple more washing machines and dryers would be welcome additions. The walls are thin but the hostel does provide earplugs if you need them. The staff were friendly and helpful :)

It's very clean, the mattress is probably the most comfortable I've slept on in any hostel establishment. Free coffee and tea, you can pay 200yen for a towel set. It's just a bit far from the station and kind of hard to find if you are using google for directions so if you stay in the winter, bundle up a bit more. Right next to Family Mart so you will never go hungry. Staff are very friendly, speak multiple languages so language barrier shouldn't be an issue. Room downside is that there is just one shower and washroom + sink for 6 people in the dormitory so it's good to figure out a usage system with your fellow roommates. Lounge on first and second floor, with mirror on the 2F so you can do your makeup there if needed.
