😠 These animals are clearly distressed. Big animals in small spaces. The hedgehogs can’t stop scratching themselves and breathing’s heavily out of anxiety. If you love animals, do not support their abuse. People often mention animals, dogs, time, cafe, cats, friendly, animal, staff, owls, floor,

One of the best animal cafes I have ever been to. The animals rotate every few hours. We arrived at around 4 in the afternoon and were told to wait outside for at least 20 minutes. The staff were very friendly and one could even speak fluent English. She assisted us throughout our visit and taught us how to handle the ferrets and hedgehogs correctly. She told us interesting facts like how the ferrets were actually nocturnal animals. There were a variety of animals at the cafe, some including owls (that are freely flying around the cafe) and even a bearcat at the 2nd floor. At the 6th floor, there were dogs and cats. You could buy dog and cat treats from a gacha machine for 100 yen. The dogs were all very eager to get the treats. Most of the dogs were friendly. Although one of the black cats scratched me lightly when I was getting the dog treats from the gacha machine, other than that, everything was well and it was a good visit. Overall, worth a visit when you go to Osaka!

I am a huge cat and animal lover, but at the same time, I am ironically quite allergic to cats. Normally I suffer everytime I visit a cat cafe in Japan, but this has been the only place that I had no problem at all! Apparently the owner used to work at a zoo, so all the animals here are treated with love and are clean, the cafe was surprisingly very very clean too! The animals are brought out in 'shifts', as to not make them tired, which I thought was brilliant since a lot of other cafes do not do this, hence leading to the cats/dogs getting very stressed due to not getting any rest during the day. You can also buy food to feed the animals. (seperate food for each animal) The price was also very reasonable, but you do have to order something to eat or drink at the beginning after entering the cafe (which was very cheap) This was my best animal cafe experience ever. I definitely recommend this place to everyone who likes animals! ESPECIALLY if you have allergies like me.

If you like cats and dogs, and just sitting there enjoying animals around you, this is a good place to be. there are some other smaller animals, also one capybara that was just super chill and didn't do much the whole time. There are total of three floors where the third floor was smaller dogs and cats, and one pig. That's the level where you can spend the most time just sitting and hanging. I would say 60 minutes is enough to see all floors. We did 90 and it was just extra time with the small dogs. We saw the alpaca through the glass while waiting to get in, and it was put away right before our time. Also no hedgehog or owl. We did around 1 to 3 in the afternoon.

Had a great time playing with the different animals here! No age limit so my 2 year old girl was allowed in to play with the dogs, cats, pig...also owls, ferrets, porcupines and a bear cat!!! All the animals were clean and docile.

We love the experience here!! We went for a 90mins package and we had fun every moment. The animals are very calm and well trained. They are very stable and not afraid of customers. There are different animals at different times. Capybara and Alpaca is daytime on 2/f. Dogs and cats are on 6/f and they rotate quite often. Definitely worth visiting!

Animeal is basically a petting zoo cafe. A five minute walk from the metro, i thought the animals were quite cute! My only complaint would be it would seem that they are severely understaffed, and wait times are quite long! The worker, yes one, has to do everything from checking you in, picking up the phone, take your order, make your drinks, make you watch a safety demonstration, and collect your money all in the span of about 5 minutes.

We went to see capybara there and we were totally satisfied with it. It was walking, eating, swimming. Alpaca was amazing too. On the second floor it was an area with bigger dogs, all of them were happy and playful. And on the third floor it was an area for cats and small dogs. And it has quite strong smell of them. I'm sensitive to smells, so it was hard for me to be there. My children were ok with it. Although all animals looked happy. Staff at animeal is very friendly. You have to buy drinks at the entrance, drinks were very delicious. On the 3d floor food for dogs and cats is not included into the ticket, you can buy separately. The place is highly recommended.

The kids have fun playing with and feeding the birds, cats, dogs, ducks and rabbits. Didn’t manage to see the owls since they are only out in the evening. The drinks are great but they have a limited menu for food, so better go there after a meal for drinks.

Animal Cafe with all the animals you have ever dreamed of. Range from capybara to ducks and classic domestic pets like cats and dogs. They do rotate pets from time to time, so you might have a unique experience every moment of the day. The staff is really friendly and does speak an understable English. They will make you sure you have fun while keeping the animals safe. Highly recommend going here instead to do multiple and different animals cafe. Be aware that the charge system is automatic, and they won't tell you if you are overtime.

Went at 1pm You choose 60 min or 90 min course and then each person must order a drink each drink is ~550 yen Please note they rotate animals every hour so you may or may not see some animals The time i went they said owls hedgehog and some other animals come out after 4pm I think they said carabaya is moved to tokyo location I saw alpaca, bunny cat dogs bearded dragon guinea pig parrot ducks You can pet all the animals except for the birds All the animals are friendly and let you pet except the guinea pig is quite shy

Very average experience, not fantastically different animals. Bought an hour time but kids were pretty bored by the end. Food for the animals cost ¥100 on top. One drink purchase is also mandatory. Same building also had a snake cafe. 1 hour or 1.5 hour options for each session. Kids 0-12 have a discounted price.

Came there 1,5 hours before closing time, with two kids who were both very excited to see the animals. Then they told us to get out because there were already a few people waiting and they wanted to close early. Great.

The capybara loves having its belly rubbed! The handlers all seem to love the animals very much and take good care of them.

Best animal Cafe experience our family had in Japan! Very friendly and helpful staff throughout our time there. No booking required. You will need to obtain a number to register your spot in the queue with a designated time for your return so you can explore the surrounds. There are 60min and 90min packages. We had purchased the 90min package with a drink included and the time went by so quick as we had such a great time. Thank you Animeal Cafe and team!

Great animal cafe with a wonderful variety of animals that are all very well cared for. They don't have all the animals out at once, so when they are out, they're very playful and friendly. Best animal cafe in Japan!

Animals in tiny spaces with nowhere to escape when feeling distressed or overwhelmed. The pig was panting and foaming at the mouth after a dog barked at it and chased it, poor thing had no safe space to escape to. Another dog was trying to defecate but had a tightly wrapped piece of fabric so it couldn't do its business. A lot of the big dogs seemed stressed and overstimulated in the tiny empty room. Overall a sad experience, I'm not sure what I was expecting but I feel bad supporting it

I regretted coming here as soon as I arrived. Small space for big animals. The two dog areas smelt like wee and the dogs were wearing some Sort of nappy so they weren’t able to do their business. I felt sad and disappointed in myself for supporting a place that clearly abuses animal and should have known better. The capybara had a small tiny bathtub with minimal water.

We absolutely loved this place. You can tell that the staff love the animals and you can tell the animals respect the staff. We noticed that some dogs had what looked like nappies on, but learned that it was to stop the dogs from mating. Each dog also got timeout time to give them a break when they got too hyped up. Absolutely would recommend this place.

Oddly enough, after 5 days exploring the area, this is our favorite place in Ōsaka... 500 yen/30min to pet kitties and hold owls! More surprising though is that drinks are reasonably priced. We had a tall, strong tequila sunrise and peach mule for only 500 yen each. Cheaper than most beers here. And since some places require a cover here anyways, might as well play with animals!! The staff was incredibly friendly, too! One person showed us how to properly call an owl while the gentlemen at the front were polite and funny. One person spoke great English and helped translate for us, so we even learned a few Japanese words as a bonus. ***We also felt that the animals were well treated and truly cared for. They were uncaged and free to play around the bar. When asked if the caregiver was the animal’s friend he said, I’m their mom.*** Highly recommended! 5/5 would visit again.

Best animal cafe in Japan! We stumbled across this cafe while wandering the streets of Osaka and it was one of the best experiences yet! We got to sip amazing cocktails (500¥ each - a steal!) while cuddling cats and hedgehogs and and hanging with owls. The facilities are clean and the animals are not caged and are well cared for. The cafe is open for limited hours to allow the animals home to rest and bond with caregivers. I hope this place is here to stay!
