The staffs are friendly. Nice customer service. There is a seat for one person and there’s a socket to charge your phone. I sat in front of an open window and it was a nice spot with breezy autumn wind. I’ve ordered Vaziri Kebab set. The price was reasonable. It’s my first time eating jujeh kebab and I love it! I like their soup too. I can’t wait to go back to Kyoto and try their other food in the menu!

From the moment we entered, the smell was amazing. We loved the interior design. Very Clean restaurant. Restroom is super clean, it's even beautifully decorated. Biryani was very delicious. Food was great. They even had chargers for different types of phones so no worries if you forgot yours. Stuff were welcoming and kind.

We went to have lunch today, the place was empty, I know that Indian food might not be very popular for tourists traveling to Japan, but for us was a good option because of the location we were in and it didn’t disappoint. We ordered the lunch set with soup, salad, curry, and naan bread, everything was really good, we got water served immediately, the waitress was nice. I would definitely recommend it.

Delicious Indian food and a great spot to try if your craving something hearty and filling. The spice levels are high and flavorful and really hit the spot for us while in Japan.

Amazing Indiana & Bangladesh cuisine, this is the best restaurant I have been to in Kyoto, I highly recommend their chicken Tikka masala, and the chicken & kabab with rice. And also it's Hala food

Halal food in Gion. The place is small but quite comfortable. Even though it is Middle Eastern cuisine, the taste is suitable for Asian tongues. The soup is recommended. A bit expensive maybe because it is in a strategic location for tourism and shopping centers. Also close to the station. Very friendly service.

I had a short trip to Kyoto. I have tried other halal foods in this city. I found the taste of this restaurant super good with a reasonable price compare to other Indian or halal restaurants in Kyoto. They have many delicious foods I love. They provide Bangladeshi, Indian, Pakistani and Arabian foods. That is amazing. I wish I could stay here more days and try more items. I got chance to taste biriyani and soup that is really yummy. Satisfied with customer service, foods taste and price of the foods.

Amazing taste and great service. Menu and staff was available in English. The biriyani had perfectly cooked rice and taste. The kebabs were great. We ended on an unforgettably delicious dessert - chom chom. Sweet and cut like butter. Definately a recommendatiom.

The food was great! It felt good to eat a different taste in our holidays. The service was fast and efficient :) We were just passing by, looking for somewhere to eat, and an american guy who ate there minutes before recommended this place to us.

This restaurant was our reward after a long day of walking and sightseeing - we literally walked 20 km. The staff were very friendly and so helpful. The food was by far the best Indian I had in Japan, so delicious and not heavy on the stomach like others. 10 out of 10.

The food is beyond good, and I really hope they keep the consistency!! we tried tandoori, and Kebab. Both tasted amazing. The dining area is small and can barely take three families. That's why I gave it 4/5. Staff is friendly and the service and good nothing to complain about here. Final thoughts: consistency is a must 👌🏽 to meet the expectations of the coming visitors.

the food is so delicious, especially for the cheese naan. the spices of the food is not too strong which is very good for us. the staff are so friendly and helpful. We also had soup and mineral water for free. The place is also strategic, behind the shopping stores. you have to order their cheese naan!

Very friendly place and out of the world biriyani! They make their spice blends in house, so the taste is pretty authentic. Must try!

Highly recommended to tourists searching for best halal food. Their curry is similar to our Malaysian curry but perhaps even better especially while enjoying during winter ❄️ . The Garlic and Cheese Naan, Mutton Briyani are the menus we chose, paired together with chicken tikka masala and mutton curry. Amazing dishes, lovely ambience, warm and friendly services 👍 apologies of no pictures of the foods as we were frankly hungry and mouth watering as the dishes were served on the table. Arigatogozaimas 🙏

We absolutely loved our food here. The spice level was great and we could have gone even hotter. Tried two new curries and loved them both. The naan is huge and ended up being a great size for both of us

We are a family of 3. We all had set menus which were absolutely delicious and good choice of curry options. We also had samosas and sesame Nan bread, all very tasty. The service was friendly. It was busy but that added to the atmosphere and the cost was very reasonable. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Amazing hospitality received at Kyoto! I am a Bangladeshi living in the USA and came to Kyoto for a conference. The owner and the chefs were super-nice, amicable and welcoming. They offered me a free milk tea just because I was waiting for rain to stop. The food was great, but the hospitality was greatest. Loved it! Would love to visit again if I come to Japan.

Great option for halal desi food in Kyoto, located very centrally. Taste was great. Loved my Thali set dinner. The Bangladeshi gulab jamun was delicious. People were very friendly and the service was fast. Clean and decent amount of space.

A Halal restaurant in Kyoto city, Kyoto, Japan. Serves Halal food and is a unique place to have your lunch or dinner, especially if you are Muslim. The restaurant has Midle Estern cuisine. Kebab and Beryani are the famous ones.

Really great place to eat! The staff are lovely and even provide extra soup if you ask for it. The curry was also really delicious and very reasonably priced. Highly recommended for anyone who is looking for Arabic/Bangladesh cuisine.

The butter chicken was abit too sweet for my liking. We ordered 2 butter chicken and both tasted different. One was sweeter than the other. The milk tea was nice but a little smaller than expected. The naan was nice. Generously huge. Bryani set was okay. Just average.

I tried the garlic naan. It was amazingly yummy! Coming from Singapore, I must say I've never tasted such flavoursome naan in my home country. The butter chicken was excellent. I was so overwhelmed by the good food served that I came back for the second time in the space of two days. The staff was the friendliest I've met. Two thumbs up for everything. Highly recommended!!!

This is place is halal, and thats it. Food is good, but not enough meaty.. one thing I really disliked, is to pay for the plain bread when you order a main saucy dish. This is not a standard practice in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, etc... even if you take a solo dish. In arabic/muslim countries bread is supposed to be supplied free (but limited) by default.

The food at Mabrur halal restaurant is undoubtedly delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. However, our experience was marred by the unfortunate behavior of the waiter. She seemed in a hurry to rush us out and was quite discourteous. She abruptly cleared our plates without asking if we were done, leaving us with no opportunity to order dessert as we had planned. When we inquired about the closing time, as it was only 8 o'clock, she responded rudely and insisted we pay immediately. While the cuisine was exceptional, the service experience, unfortunately, left a lot to be desired. We hope that the restaurant management takes note of these issues to ensure a more pleasant dining experience for future patrons.
