Oh what 150 yen will get you! In such a crowded part of the city, this nominal entrance fee allows you to be taken away to a quieter and more contemplative place. The garden was designed probably 150 years ago, by a famous garden master of the day. It's a bit different than what you'll find in Kyoto, but that shouldn't be a detraction. There's a nice rest house on the pond too.

Lovely small(er) Japanese styled garden in the center of the city and close to the museum of fine arts and Tennoji Zoo. It's the perfect spot for when you want to get away from the bussy streats of Osaka and enjoy the peace and calm of nature. There is a small entrance but it's worth it!

Quite a peaceful and well maintained garden, you can stroll around the pond, trees and small structures to enjoy the landscaped natural beauty. There's also seating in a couple of places to relax and enjoy the serenity. Note that there's plenty of mosquitoes in this garden, especially in the late afternoon when we went so if you are prone to bites you should be prepared and spray yourself. There's a small entry fee of ¥150.

150 yen entry for an adult, less for concessions. Beautiful and not at all busy, only people there to enjoy the tranquility. One of my favourite stops in Japan

It was a beautiful pond with lots of greenery, but except for water lilies there weren't many flowers there in July. There were literally no other people there so I enjoyed the tranquility and saw some birds. While walking on the trail around the pond I could smell incense from the shrine just outside which was really worth a visit.

Blink and you’ll miss it garden in Tennoji Park area. Truly tranquil and sun-drenched serene; this manicured garden is a refreshing oasis from the urban surroundings. Definitely a battery recharger and you can feel your energy replenishing as you soak in the suns rays, and your eyes drink in the scenery and greenery. Didn’t spend a lot of time here. Just enough to calm the mind and reboot the synapses.

If you enjoy scenery & nature, this definitely a best spot to be! Opening Hours 9:30AM - 5:00PM Admission Fee ¥150 (Adult) ¥80 (Elementary & Junior High School Students) They close on Monday, or the day after if it is a national holiday. And year end (29/12-1/1)

A small Japanese garden. It’s only 150 yen to enter, and it’s peaceful. I was here on a Sunday afternoon, and there weren’t too many people around. Also, it seems like it’s a popular spot to go take your cosplay photos.

Keitakuen Garden is a small municipal owned and managed traditional garden, inside Tennoji Park, Osaka. While it is NOT a large traditional garden, with small entrance fees, visitors can take a break away from busy and noisy Osaka city and enjoy the beauty of the traditional garden, flowers, trees, ponds, etc. .

Such a beautiful little spot in the middle of a huge city. Definitely worth the visit, admission is cheap. There was only one or two other people when I went, so it was very peaceful!

Nice little gem hidden in the Tennoji district with beautiful pond and trees. With benches and seats it is also a comfy and quiet place to rest after visiting the nearby tennoji zoo and shinsekai. With Osaka amazing pass it is free to get in.

A small but a nice place to get relax from the city center of Osaka, if I go next time I will bring some sandwich or rice ball to enjoy in the park.

The garden was beautiful! The admission fee for adult was only 150 Yen. It was 100% worth it as it was very relaxing to walk around in. There were a few sections to sit or sunbathe, where you will always get a nice view. It's also a good place to take photo! It's best to go when it's still sunny!

Beautiful serene garden in Osaka park, right next to the museum of fine arts. Not much to do at the museum, so this was a nice diversion. Entry is 150JPY for adults. Good place to take a little stroll and enjoy the blooms of the season.
