Nice, small, efficient airport. The eating options were decent given the size of the airport and there was plenty of gift shops to buy some last minute souvenirs from.

The Kochi Ryoma Airport is new and conveniently also small, the first 30 minutes the parking is free, the shops and restaurants inside of the airport are good with decent price, nothing abusive as the big airports price. You can fly to the big cities of Japan like as Tokyo, Osaka and so on.

Small airport, staffs were friendly. Still remember during security check when the staff asked me to take my shoes off because I was wearing boots and they gave me slippers

Usually not too busy. It is very near to the Faculty of Agriculture and Marine Science of Kochi University, about 5 minutes by walk. It will take about 30 minutes to reach in the Kochi city from here. Bus is available to go Kochi city and it costs about 700 yen. There are not any convenient store or super shop available at least 5 km around the airport. Please buy your necesssy snacks or drinks from the airport. There are no international flights from here. Flights in all prefectures of Japan is available, it is quite difficult to contact by English.

No lounge at this airport. It confuses me that one sees two buses for Kochi station by different companies but they say no difference.

The coin parking price here is extremely cheap. And the local food “tatakikatsuo” is so original, fine and tasty.

Small, easy airport to get around. Parking and buses/taxis right outside. Good little gift shops including fresh local produce to take home at the end of your trip!!

Visiting Kochi from America, it was very simple to go through the process of entering and leaving Japan. The staff were very helpful and patient with my group, as we knew limited Japanese. The airport is small, but there wasn't much waiting at all.

Though it is a small local airport, their restaurants and souvenir shops are good enough to spent a brief time. There is a desk of rental car agencies and they pick you up and drive you to their office.
