Malshej ghat situated on the Ahmednagar highway offers magnificent views of the valleys and mountains surrounding it. It's been flooded by tourists in the monsoon to witness numerous waterfalls which canopy the valley. Appropriate railings are there to make the tourism experience good and it's quite mesmerizing to visit these ghats any time of the year.

One of well known spot in Maharashtra during monsoon. Government had put railing to avoid any mishaps. However considering the roads are made in mountains there isn't sufficient parking spots for cars. The place truly get crowded during weekends specially after 10 AM. The tuck shops providing boiled / fried corns, Maggi etc are also reasonable considering. Be aware about monkeys that dwells at the location. The Ghat is also famous for small landslides specially small rocks. Be aware about those as well.

The experience throughout the Ghat is Divine. No entry fees you can just ride/drive through. There is no network in this area. Foods available are Maggie, Vada Pav, Bhajjis, tea, coffee and omelette. Please carry your own if you have elders or children traveling along. There are no washrooms in the ghats. You would need to use the ones in restaurants at the start of the Ghat. Do wear jackets due to sudden temperature drop.

Amazing place to enjoy monsoon season, little foggy but very beautiful place on mountain, there are beautiful fountains and you can take fountain shower also. Atleast one time you should go and see malshej ghar in rainy season.

Place is awesome but too foggy in rainy season to admire waterfalls and nature. I suggest to visit this place when later when rains have stopped.

Scenic landscape with beautiful mountains in blue skyline. Different picture from the wet monsoon. Road condition is not good like tamhini ghat.
