Came here during the beginning of the monsoon. For a weekend withdraw among green surroundings and breathtaking vistas, it is a destination well worth visiting. Thitbi is the base point village. The waterfall hike is suitable for beginners. But if one begins from the lowest point, they will have to use ropeways to span the river in between, which is a dangerous endeavour. Regular hikers won't have any trouble with it. There's a lot of river flow. There are several places along the way to unwind by submerging yourself in the chilly Kalu River. It's crucial to wear sturdy shoes with high traction because the ground gets slick after rain. It is advised to avoid carrying a bulky backpack and to have a water bottle.

More than anything the drive to this waterfall was insanely beautiful. Can be trekked to reach the top of the waterfall or you can go to the bottom of the waterfall. We chose to visit the top of the waterfall during peak monsoon. The roads are scenic. Experience was beyond words. If visiting during monsoon please opt for good walking shoes. Trek was easy.

True to it's name "god's valley" The experience is really unforgettable. For travelling by ST get down at sawarne village. Walk for 7-8 kms and you will reach the starting point of this trek. From there another 1 hour to reach the waterfall. Once you reach there you will forget all your hardwork required to reach till the point. Go when the it's not raining 4-5 days before.

Visited this place at the start of monsoon. It is worth visiting place for weekend getaway amidst lush greenery and amazing scenic views. Base point village is Thitbi. The trek to waterfall is beginners type. However, if one starts from lowest point, then need to cross river in between using ropeways which is risky business. Routine trekkers will not find it difficult. The river flow is quite strong. There are various spots in between to immerse in cold water of Kalu river while relaxing. Also, important to wear good grip shoes as terrain is slippery during rains. Advisable to carry water bottle along and not to carry heavy backpack.
