(Translated by Google) The upper part of the ghat falls in the Pune district and the main part of the ghat is in the Thane district. This is a ferry on National Highway 23. If you want to experience the torrential downpour of the sky, the torrential downpours and the swirling streams of snow, the dense clouds that slip gently on the green carpet, the winding road through it, you may find yourself in the city's well-lit streets. The MTDC resort is convenient for tourists on a steep stretch of valley where the Ghat road begins. There is a beautiful reservoir of Pimpalgaon dam near Khubi village. The specialty here is 'Rohit bird'. These foreign visitors, known as flamingos, visit the reservoir every year In the rainy season, as we approach the Malshej Ghat, a very high waterfall falls in the far left mountain. One has to go only in the rainy season to see this waterfall which falls in three streams. Nature at it's best. Can be quite dangerous due to rock fall. Small rocks keeps on falling. So take better care while you are under water. Avoid parking your four wheelers and prefer a walk to this place. Wear bright colored clothes as in monsoon you can't be identifiable due to dense fog and clouds.

Awsm place best in month of july , moderate rainfall , one can see views if possible...cause the ghat likes to stays only in clouds..but stay safe..as it is one of the dangerous place.as rocks can collapse any time it mostly occur in waterfall periods It is best attraction to view as many times you want..there is mtdc hotel near by if anyone plans to stay . There are many places nearby to look out. One is harishchandragad..in kalsubai forest resoure..also naneghat is must visit place

Among the numerous scenic passes in the Sahyadri ranges, Malshej ghat occupies a higher spot in monsoon tourism. The greenery abounds everywhere. Revellers throng the place to soak into the several springs. Surprisingly, at one place, the road crosses a falling stream, and every vehicle gets completely drenched under that waterfall. Aptly called a car wash point, many commuters take an opportunity to get rid of smudges. Nevertheless, doing so is risky as that blocks part of the narrow road. Further, the pass is notorious for landslides during a rainy season. Thus, it is always discerning to stay away from falling water.

Very nice waterfall. The water falls from the hills just on top of your car and as the name suggests the whole car gets washed. Apart from this there are lots of other waterfalls on the road and this place also has a very small temple.

Good hangout place, just 100km drive from city of Mumbai. The road to Malshej Ghat is narrow but beautiful, surrounded by hills. Although best time visit in the monsoon. Greeny hills will refresh your trierdy urban eyes. There's a sunset point, where you can enjoy beautiful setting sun in the evening. And the car wash point is a must visit. You'll get a free car wash there.
