You can’t really even give one star when ‘greeted’ so rudely. As soon as my partner and I set foot over the threshold a waiter shouted something from the bar area with a flat palm raised at us. This was quickly followed by two different waiters rushing up to us at the entrance; one being told to stop us coming in and the other all gussied up with his Madonna microphone on his head and black apron asking what we were here for. (Big clue, it’s a bar and restaurant). This quickly turned to informing us there was a minimum spend €12 per head and if we wanted a drink we could only have 20 minutes. I could understand if busy with a queue but most tables were empty even those with the views. Returning to the waiter with the Madonna microphone on his head… there is a mastery to be admired. The mastery of how to politely say when ‘customers’ are most certainly not welcome. The skill often attributed to air steward’s who can imply the offensive clearly with a simple “thank you”. I guess ‘gays’ are still not welcome in some places these days probably as with dogs, but unlike for dogs, that’s a sign at the entrance they likely couldn’t get permission for.

We visit this cafe once a year mainly for lunch when visiting the sanctuary but today experienced the bad waiter that the other reviewers have been saying. The guy took exception to my wife and I for no reason that we could fathom. He threw our drinks on our tables spilling coffee and beers all over the place and when we tried to order some lunch just kept saying that our choices weren't available but they were to adjacent tables. The guy could barely look at us he was sooooo angry. I must have crossed him in a previous life. Wanted to throw him off tge terrace but decided to pay for our drinks and dive elsewhere where our custom was very welcome.. ✌️

We made the huge mistake of calling in here on the way from enjoying the beautiful Cresta del Gallo. Having read the awful reviews on Tripadvisor we were prepared for the 12euro per head minimum charge and for some brusqueness from the manager in order to enjoy the view shortly before sunset. But it was even worse than we expected. We arrived around 8pm. The section set up as a restaurant was empty. 2 small tables were occupied in the first section (the one with no view). We are English, trying to learn and speak Spanish. The manager is Spanish, with no English. We asked for a table for 3, the manager told us they were full. We pointed out they weren't. To which he rattled off about the 12Euro per person charge which we said that yes we knew and agreed to, but we would like like a drink, perhaps something quick to eat and to enjoy the view (we would be gone by 9pm). He said the tables were booked at 9pm for dinner. Yes, but it is 8pm now we replied and we would be gone by then. He finally conceded to allowing us in and showed us towards a table just at the start of the dining area, set for 2, with no view. Still none of the other tables were occupied. We pointed at a table for 4 but no....if we were to stay it was at the table for 2 with no view. The location is great. The manager is appalling. Whoever owns this restaurant really should read the reviews and see the damage that he is doing to the restaurant's reputation.

I love this place very much and I prefer to spend my weekend there, fresh air and beautiful mountains, but sometimes I found one of them very rude with customers. I feel disappointed and he should learn how to be a good behavior with people. We are coming for pay, we are not coming for ask your foods. Please be nice with customers. By the way this place is for rich people, super expensive here. Thanks 😊

I love their paparajotes ( typical desert from murcia ) is a lemon leave with sugar and some coating ! Their food is very tasty , I would recommend to book in advance as is always busy! Because they have an amazing views ! There is a bus you can catch to go to el santuario de la Fuensanta where you can find la terraza quitapesares, but I would recommend to go by car

The view is beautiful but the staff is the worst i've ever seen. After waiting for the waiter we decided to enter on our own. Then we were told that only a few tables are available. We took a sit and started looking at the menu, wiem the waiter approached us and told us that the kitchen is closed. While talking to us, he started a conversation with a friend.. We told we need more time, but then we waited another 10 minuts for the waiter do finally we left , we were disgusted

Stunning views over Murcia. My wife and friends had tostadas and I had a burger with cheese and an egg also two plates of fries. Tostadas were good with good ingredients the burger was very good. A great restaurant to visit when going to see the monastery 👍

There weren't more than half of the seats occupied. We had to wait about 10 minutes until they invited us inside even though there wasn't anyone in the queue except us. They also forgot to bring my granizado and after a while I had to ask for it again. However the food was nice, that's why I'm giving 3 stars instead of 2.

Lovely hamburgers! It would be nice if the table staff were more cheerful.

A wonderful place to have a bite and drink after a long climb (or drive) up the mountain to the monastery. Their tapas tastes fantastic and their special coffee was an amazing finishing touch to the meal. The spectacular view only added to the experience.

If you want lunch with a view there cannot be many places to rival this one! We enjoyed a morning coffee when we arrived after a bus ride and a walk up the hill. Then we looked around the beautiful church, returning to the restaurant for lunch. We ordered salads (one Cesar, one tomato/anchovy/olive) with a beer and coffees; both salads were very good. Probably not the cheapest place at about 20 euros per head, but good quality food and well worth it to sit and take in that view.

A good culinary, environmental and human experience. Pedro, the brother not brother, sorry I do not remember your name, Josélito, the lion king, the king of the bonbon and his client Lidia, have made the experience unforgettable. The exceptional food, mojama, roe and almonds, caldero, coffee quitapenas and for dessert kills mothers-in-law. If you want good food, special views of Murcia and an unbeatable service, this is the place. Highly recommended.

Great spot for a coffee and to enjoy the views. The waiter did ignore us waiting at the entrance for 5 minutes and in the end we walked in. They are very strict in covid restrictions here and advised it was card only which was fine. The toilet was clean.

Fantastic view. Can't say much about food since I only had ice cream and soft drink.

Great place for a coffee and snack. Both the Cafe Con Leiche and Cortado are good quality. Friendly, fairly quick service. Plenty of seating area, most of which allows you to take in the wonderful views.
