I was on the 1,700-mile road trip when I saw the sign for steak and shake. Instantly pulled into the diner, unfortunately you have to order everything through a dumb tablet but the food was amazing. They were out of ketchup at the time but I'm sure that was fixed. Service is great, people working behind the counter prepared the food in a timely manner & we're very nice.

steak n shake means a lot as it was the place i took dates to when i was a kid. after 34 years i decided to go here after a round of golf. the food was delicious as ever. the fries and burger were top notch. i hope this steak n shake and all other remaining steak n shakes continue to operate and bring so many good memories.

You spend $26 on two burgers and fries and they can’t even be bothered to fill the fry container up 1/4 of the way. When I ordered a large fry ( which I was charged for I checked) and a medium fry and they’re in the same container and both only 1/4 full. Sad how far Steak ‘n Shake has fallen in the last few years.

We are currently at this Steak ‘n Shake and it has been a great experience! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, especially the brunette girl working the lobby. The restaurant is also spotless. This is by far the best Steak ‘n Shake I have ever been to.

I guess it depends on who's working when you go. Our last visit was Terrible! We placed a to-go order last week, and when we got there, the lobby was closed with no sign out giving any instructions. So we went through the drive thru, which it seemed like everyone else there was doing the same...after literally 30min in line, we get our order... with melted shakes(the whipped cream was almost all the way melted and the ice cream was a drink more than a "shake")and cold food. I asked for fresh shakes and was given horrible attitude. The manager, who's name i don't recall, told me to "call corporate, hopefully they fire me so I can claim unemployment". This happened the night of October 2nd, that I know for sure...

Consistent good Steak and Shake food. May have a wait depending on when you go. All good orders are done through the kiosks they have regardless of if the food is to go or dine in.

Took family here today 8/11/23 at 4pm. Haven't been here in quite some time. I'll tell you what, we won't be back. First, the kiosk to order your own food, it was confusing.. and once order was finally placed, it has the audacity to ask if we wanted to leave a tip. For what? No one serves your food to you, they call your name and YOU go to the counter to get it. Was back up to the counter 5 (FIVE) times due to order wrong AND missing food /drink items, No lids for cups, no utensils, no straws. When asking for these self serve things, I get this blank look and told they've been busy. The girl seemed put off by having to go get these things. I spoke with the manager about our awful visit, she was nice enough to reimburse a portion of the bill. I sure miss the old days, speaking with a waiter/waitress and not dealing a damn kiosk. Everything is so impersonal these days. Oh, and the floor was sticky and several dirty tables. Just wow.

The employees are rude and have absolutely no skills when it comes to people. They never come up to the counter to greet customers and they definitely don't care if your inside for yourself, or door dash, or a pissed of customer. The dinning room is very uninviting and not clean. Also they have ants by the front registers where you take your own order and pay for yourself.

Food has been great the past few times we have been here. Like best steak and shake food I’ve ever had. Service is friendly, that being said I don’t ask for much anywhere I go really. Atmosphere is quiet. Don’t like the kiosks but I have a feeling that’s everywhere.

I had not been to a Steak n Shake in years. Stopped in here to grab a quick bite! Omg they have this new Garlic Steak burger, this is amazing (if you love garlic)! My mom ordered the double steak burger and she said it was just as good as before. I will say you need to find a Steak n Shake and try this Garlic Steak Burger it is off the chain!!! Lol

Steak and Shake has really gone downhill since our last visit which was in 2020. The changes done are very disappointing. Gone are the waitresses and quality service. Now you enter the restaurant and order form kiosk. The family atmosphere is gone now it feels cheap and the service no longer cares for it's costumers. Bring back The old Steak and Shake feel. Now I can see why many of them have closed

Anthony the manager is incredibly rude. refuse to remake my food after he made it with my food allergen on it. Said that because the machine (not a human) defaults all that in the food. Even though I had already requested it made differently. Horrible, well, no service at all. Restaurant was filthy as well.

My son loves going to Steak N Shake! We've been going here for many years. The service and food has improved since before covid. You guys rock that grill!
