In my dad's hometown as a child, he had wonderful memories to share with me about this Shell, I felt like I traveled back in time with him, this park is simply beautiful with tons of area to wonder about, a beautiful fishing area, and this Shell was our highlight of the day, to explore and adventure all around and on it, was just a wonderful experience! I'm glad to see it still stands in such good condition as my dad had memories of it, and now we shared one here together!! Thankyou to the community for making historical memories still stand for the generations of people after them.

I went here to play disc golf for the first time. Great course, and really pretty park! Great to take your dog for a walk, kids to a playground, nice ball fields. Great way to get outside and enjoy the outdoors. If you're wanting to try something new, give disc golf a try!

We love going on walks here. Plenty of space and it's peaceful. They keep everything mowed and looking beautiful.

I don't know why it says Band Shell specifically and there isn't just a spot for the park...but! This is a very lovely park! Lots of shade! A lovely pavilion with picnic tables, a playground, swings, a small rock climbing wall...walking paths, war monument, the river is beautiful! Kiddos enjoyed echoing and running amok in the band shell. Definitely enjoy this park!! Also, if you play Pokemon Go, there are stops and a gym, yay! 😁

Great place for our children or Fur babies alike. Clean well kept park with play equipment for all ages. A great dog park and the cleanest outdoor restroom facilities in the area as far as local parks! The park is nestled next to the big muddy river so there is access to fishing and a boat ramp as well. Great little place to visit and bring the family for a great outing!!

One of two spectacular band shells in this town. This one is historic but make sure to check out the other one on Walnut Street in between 18th and 19th for a band shell of the future
