Sunday dinner in Murray Bridge Bombay Beat 55 Bridge St, Murray Bridge, SA. Location: Parked right outside the restaurant on a Sunday night. Service: Quick & attentive. Decor: Nice tables with comfy chairs and table clothes…!!! Good size front dining space, great looking bar, and a similar sized rear dining space. Atmosphere: Busy with the front section of the restaurant almost full. The bar creates a focus point & is a great addition to this space. Bathrooms: Clean & tidy. Value for money: Very well priced with mains from $15.50 to $23.90. Drinks: Great selection of drinks and cocktails. Food: We had the Malai Kofta, Kadai Paneer, Prawn Malai, Raita, Rice & Cheese & Garlic Naan and the Carrot & Condensed Milk Pudding from the specials board. We loved the veggie dishes (Malai Kofta & Kadai Paneer) as they had so much flavour. The prawn dish was underwhelming BUT when we had it the next day it was fabulous..!! Maybe just needed a bit more time. The carrot dessert was not great to be honest, and this was due to our understanding of what we were getting. We heard pudding and expected pudding, but this traditional dessert is not made like a pudding, but instead the carrot is cooked in the condensed milk & softened/cooked like that. The Raita was excellent with a fabulous creamy texture. We had the garlic & cheese naan with dinner but ordered some plain garlic naan to take away with our leftover rice, prawns & Raita. All of these were so nice the next day. It was a great shared snack. Synopsis: A good surprise in Murray Bridge. Well worth a try and they cater to your hotness requirements.

Arrived in SA and after settling down in a Motel, we decided to explore the town for dinner. Did a Google Search and saw this Indian restaurant will high rating. After a long hours of driving, time to have a delicious meals. And yes, this restaurant didn't disappointed us. Service & Ambient [4.5] Nice restaurant and we wonder we need a tie and suit, long black dress and shiny shoes. Well no. The staff welcome us with a smile. We didn't make any booking and the staff politely told us to wait while she attempt to find us a table. Food [5]. Oh boy, the dishes we ordered were delicious and tasty. One of the best white rice we had. Our bowls were all cleaned up! Worth recommended to dine here but best to make reservation.

Bombay beat is actually the best Indian restaurant in South Australia. I booked on a Friday night visiting the town. Quite frankly I was shocked at the quality and depth of flavor. The serves were superb and depth of flavor unsurpassed. For curry and Indian food aficionados, it is easily worth a trip.

Food was great and portions ample. The electronic ordering is awesome but my friends were too scared to use it... maybe slightly salty, but personally I think the dishes were very authentic. Right amount of spice for most people, though I personally could've had it a bit hotter, but overall was super happy and impressed. The waitress was lovely and friendly but clearly was not yet that acquainted with Indian food though her enthusiam made up for everything and we left her a nice tip :). Our vegetarian friend had no complaints either.

Recommend. Always fantastic. Delicious food, cosy interior, great service (especially the tall male head waiter). We come here often and this food is a great take on Indian food for the western palate

Was a nice environment, friendly staff and good food when we visited. I had the salmon, the skin was lovely and crispy but the flesh was a little overcooked. I was happy with my experience here and will definitely be back for more in the future.

5 stars on this one. We've had a few curries over the years both here,in Asia and the UK,and this is up there with the best. Truly authentic flavours, created with quality ingredients, served by staff who clearly love their job,and in a lovely clean intimate setting. If you're a curry lover and in the area, you must go...

This is the best Indian restaurant in SA! My husband and I have come here from Adelaide twice and the food and service has been amazing both times! I would highly recommend. We got the Butter Chicken, Lamb Rogan Josh, Cheese and Garlic Naans and a mixed entree platter and it was all so tasty. The Bombay Lager is also a great beer. Thank you to the staff who served us tonight. You were great👌

Best Indian food I ever had. Not a type of person who usually write the reviews but I have to right a review for this cuisine. Excellent hospitality. Beautiful and calming environment to enjoy meals. 5 star rating. Worth the money. Kids loved it too.

Adequate food. Incredibly slow service. Up to 50 min waits for entrees is excessive. Really not worth the wait. The poor attitude from the staff when you dare ask where your food is (multiple times) is absolutely shocking.

Just had the lunch special and everything was fantastic, the dessert dumpling in syrup was especially good! Had a great experience previously at a birthday dinner also, possibly one of the best eats in town.

I don't normally rate restaurants unless they are exceptional. Bombay beat is one such place, exceptional ! I can honestly say they ticked all the boxes. Ambience, service, food, price, did i mention food, amazing.

Save your money and go elsewhere. If you’re Indian, then please don’t go with any expectations. The food is pathetic and expensive. I read the reviews before visiting and it was a big mistake. It’s not even real Indian food if you ask me. All curries were tangy tomoto gravies. Biryani had absolutely no taste!!! It was as good as eating plain rice. Maybe go for drinks but don’t eat here .

Seriously the best Indian ever! Melbourne hang your head in shame, a little country town in South Australia conquers.

One of the best Indian restaurants that I been to . Being a expert in Indian cooking it’s bit hard for me to get impressed with outside Indian food but this place was just nothing but exceptional… a must try item is tandoori mushroom and Bhendi fry …👌👌👌👌 Top class food with world class customer service

Sensational food, lovely service and a really well presented restaurant . We had butter chicken, mango chicken, Rogan Josh & I think it was the best I’ve ever had. So full of flavour and beautifully tender. The roti, saffron rice and Samosa were really lovely too. They did forget to give us the galub jamen dessert that we ordered (takeaway)… but the food was otherwise divine.

This Indian restaurant is head and shoulders above anything else I have experienced. The food was so delightfully balanced and flavoured. Had the lamb Rohan Josh and Korma and easily the best I have had. The staff here are so lovely and I am just so grateful for such a pleasant evening.

An honest review for everyone out there reading it, we always wonder about the quality these days if we try eating at a new place. I have had this in my mind as well, when i visited Bombay beat Indian restaurant for the first time. But after having a look over the menu, i order few curries and biryani as i was with my friends. As soon food was delivered, its fragrance and presentation had us licking our lips in anticipation. Food quality was superb i would say, a must visit for everyone who wants best quality. Curries and Veg biryani, are must and worth ordering. They too focused on hygiene.
