I have a referral from my obgyn to be seen by a neurologist because I suffer from recurrent migraines. I just had a baby and don’t have the extra time to go see a general Doctor just to get a referral, that is why I requested one from my obgyn. The neurologists at the IMC would not see me unless there’s more information on my chart. Recurrent migraines is not enough and my referral was put on hold since July! I called them 5 times to explain that my obgyn sent all that they have but they won’t see me and they won’t call my doctor themselves to request exactly what they want. Extremely frustrating.

My Dad was referred here by his primary care physician. They don’t just let you make an appointment but you have to wait for your case to be reviewed. We waited a couple weeks, I called they said it was under review. We waited a couple weeks more, I called again. Was on hold for 30 minutes to find out his referral was rejected. They do not have space for more dementia patients. They had not let us know it was rejected. That’s a whole lot of waiting for nothing while experiencing dementia symptoms. Seems like that would have been pretty easy to let us know sooner. Even the next day after the referral. They said they are understaffed and really busy. Completely unacceptable! So frustrating! I hope they will make changes at this facility.

I've had a referral in since Oct 2022. No call from clinic. When I called them they said they sent a request to referring doc for more info. Referring doc sent the requested information, weeks later after multiple referrals and back and forths, there is still no call. After a very cold and impersonal encounter from the phone agent, many tears of anger and frustration, I found a different clinic. This institute does not reflect the Mission, Vision or Values that is supposed to be Intermountain Healthcare.

Dr. Alyssa Lettich was very cold and unfeeling. She had no response when I got emotional of my prognosis, and at the end of our visit she simply walked out of the room without saying anything at all. She spoke very quickly and not in a way that I was able to understand. Dr. Meghan Ward is a new doctor that has been practicing less than six months. She is nice enough, but gave me wrong information instead of checking with another doctor.

Great experience, from the scheduling, to the friendly and helpful professional personnel. I thoroughly enjoyed the visit with the doctor, he was very patient in his explanation, he is going to make sure the patient will leave with the information you need to get the best chance to get healthy again. He was not in a hurry to get it done and on to the next patient, I think he was very genuine, and it was clear that he was a guy who can help with the overall experience, I have been an intermountain patient for the past 20 years, and I have been trying to think of a bad or something other than the consistent experience, in the clinics I've been in, and the hospitals, to have the many different facilities, and I'm not sure why I haven't received my punch pass by now but I have to be at this point more than impressed, but I am very grateful for the care of which is why I am able to write the review.

I was referred to Dr Katherine Widnall a few years back. She was great. I want her back. Please bring her back. And after she left I went to Sarah Oyler. She was great too. They have both moved on. Who do you have that can help me with my DBS?

My experience with this clinic has been discouraging to say the least. It is impossible to get through by phone to the main office. After holding for 2 hours today, someone picked up my call, started dialing, and thought I was the doctor's office they were trying to reach. After learning I was not, they placed me back on hold for another hour. Super frustrating, and I have yet to speak with a LIVE PERSON!!

My experience was less than satisfactory to say the least. First to make an appointment it took about 2 or 3 days because we had to wait for someone to return our call instead of them making it over the phone when we called. I am a receptionist at a doctors office so I am not unaware of different procedures and ways of doing things but my husband and I both work full time so to take so many days to get back to us was a little inconvenient. Then we finally got a day and a time that works, we arrive to the appointment and we were not prepared for what awaited us. We understand COVID and wore masks with no problem and working in a doctors office, I understand restrictions. My husband has multiple seizure disorder and they can be very strong and very bad. They recently have been worse and more often so hopefully most people can understand the stress of a wife in this situation. I am 8 months pregnant non the less so anything that has to do with my husbands health is of extreme importance and gives a little anxiety. I was told at the entrance I was not allowed to come with him. He has been up all night preparing and was very out of sorts, he struggles with memory loss and with epilepsy lack of sleep is a huge trigger for him. I was told to go back to my car and wait for him for two hours. So unaware of what is going on upstairs, or that I should have brought something. I am 40 min from home sitting in a car at 6:45am in a parking lot completely out of the loop. For a pregnant lady, not a good situation. My husband tried to explain the situation with no understanding whatsoever. I understand protocol but no empathy. Although I am all about staying protected, if my husband has COVID19, I probably do too so what’s the difference separating us. It was a hard experience and not one I feel was handled fairly or empathetically. We were not warned of any of their procedures or regulations and it felt like very bad planning on their part and a very cold and not understanding outpatient center. Sad experience. Maybe I’ll feel different with a little bit of sleep. 😞

Had an ER visit over a month ago and was referred here for TIA/stroke symptoms. Called in to make an appointment and couldn't get in for over a month, was okay waiting but my family struggled for a month with my issues waiting for my appointment. The valley is supposed to have a huge storm come through tonight and my appointment was at 7:45 am the next morning- commuting from eagle mountain, I was concerned with the drive and not making it on time or it being dangerous since I did not have childcare for my 2 year old and she'd be having to drive with me in unsafe conditions. i called to ask if I could move it due to my concerns and the storm advisory and I was told if I don't make it, they won't reschedule and I can't be seen by their clinic unless I go back to the ER/primary physician and get a new referral and wait another month for a new appointment. I would've preferred to go elsewhere from the start rather than wait two months now with TIA symptoms and anxiety that something is wrong. It was a frustrating experience and I would not recommend. Call around and go somewhere else. I wouldn't have minded being told I need a new referral if the rep seemed compassionate even slightly.

Receptionist Sarah keeps hanging up the phone on me and my family members . Riverton hospital doctor from ER told us it’s urgent to see a neurologist last week . We’ve called plenty of times and every time we get told to wait for a call back . I’ve had 2 rushes to the ER since the first time I called them . Had another seizure yesterday and paramedics told me I’m in bad shape and need to see a neaurologist. I tried to express that to Sarah this morning at the neurologist office . And she hung up the phone on me I called back and she places me on hold every time I talk and then hangs up . I’ve expressed to her how both the doctors from the ER and the paramedics have told me to ask for doctor of the day and be seen urgently and Sarah and the other younger lady who work there don’t want to do their job I’ve gave them my number multiple times and they never call back . My health is at risk I don’t want to get another seizure while I wait for them to call . And Sarah has no respect no customer service and a lot of attitude laughing on the phone , hanging up and being sarcastic . I’m see if I was Caucasian it would be different let’s hope her family doesn’t have to go thru this and get constant seizures and get hung up on . Don’t recommend this place especially if you have to deal with Sarah at front desk .having Sarah work for you guys isn’t okay she has no respect no customer service and doesn’t care about a patient is going through . She doesn’t return calls she talks back with attitude and her favorite thing to do is hang up the phone . If you can’t respect for patients don’t work there . And if you need to come here and be seen I hope you don’t get Sarah and her bad customer service

While the doctors are fine at their job, the support staff members are awful, and I a struck with a sense of dread every time I have to work with the rude, abrasive, and abusive nurses. When I call the IHC Neurosciences Institute, I often experience hold times up to thirty minutes. When I speak to the staff, they are often abusive, condescending, and dismissive of my concerns. When I try to communicate my unique needs as a patient, they continually ignore my requests. Do not entrust IHC Neurosciences Institute with your health if you can help it.

The care is absolutely amazing, but the administrative and billing department is unprofessional and left me with a $500 dollar bill. I took my grandma here a couple weeks ago and I called in advance AND HER INSURANCE IS COVERED. However, the receptionist scheduled her appointment under a doctor that isn’t covered under her insurance. We’re very disappointed and upset after our experience here. It’s unfortunate that the doctors really are wonderful because well no longer be coming due to the lack of knowledge and unprofessional receptionist.

Both positive and negative. Dr. Constantino is great and EEG tech was very sweet. However, Twice I have waited for phone calls and then received letters they have been trying to contact me??? I had received No phone calls, Nor messages. Despite verifying they had my Correct phone number, they somehow have made many attempts to contact me!!! How does that happen??? Then I find out they actually Weren't going to call me with the information I was told they would call me about. Nope, I waited a month to find out I'm supposed to get it myself. Navigating the Healthcare system and paying for healthcare when you have medical issues is difficult enough. I'm just glad these issues aren't life threatening .

👍👍 I was extremely impressed with the service my children and I received at Village Medical on 11/25/23. I was taken aback at the rudeness I received from the front desk at Benton Fast Pace and was honestly just ready to go home and try again tomorrow. We were all feeling pretty crummy so I decided to...
