I love that they have vegan options! I had the vegan breakfast burrito and the vegan burrito for lunch too. Both are very good! The salsas are fantastic too!

I don't usually post negative reviews, especially for family run businesses but had to post so others could avoid this place. I waited 20-30 minutes for my order and then they said there was an issue with my ticket and it never got to the chef. So I waited another 20 minutes (while the restaurant was basically empty) for my 3 tacos, rice and beans. When it came out, the carne asada was burnt to a crisp. Visibly charred. Terrible experience!

Best tacos I’ve had in Temecula. The cabesa is delicious, carnitas are decadent and they have a killer Tres leche cake. Beans and rice were also delicious. A must stop in the IE.

Love their vegan nachos and tacos! Friendly staff, huge portions and reasonable prices. Definitely worth checking out.

I'm from out of state. I tried all the soft tacos except the carnitas. I also tried the Chile relleno. The adobada is phenomenal and so is the Chile relleno. Add lime + tomatillo salsa. Delicious!

On this visit I got the super fries which I really enjoyed. Didn't exceed my expectations but definitely is worth coming back to. I will give another dish a try, but will stay at a solid 4 until I find something that's a 5. My friend got the fish tacos which he said were good.

I’ve been here a 1/2 dozen times and the carne asada is very tasty!! 😋 I’m pretty sure they flame broil it because it smells, looks and tastes awesome! On taco Tuesday the street taco are about $2.25 ea and a rare bargain these days. I like their green mild salsa but they have about 6 different varieties to choose from. The asada burritos are also very good but about $11-$12…. They’re worth the higher price and extra distance I travel to eat at this place. Kudos Sr Cruz.

THE BEST vegan Mexican food ever. EVER. You cannot go wrong with literally anything on the menu. This is not your typical, bland "veggie burrito without cheese" workaround most places offer as their vegetarian/vegan option. Cruz Tacos packs their food with a variety of well-seasoned grilled veggies, super flavorful tofu and plant-based meats, and their fresh salsas are unmatched. We lived in the area for 14 years and just recently moved to San Diego, but we keep finding excuses to drive back up just for Cruz Tacos. Their non-vegan food is also unbelievably delicious, but even our non-vegan family members typically opt for the vegan burritos and tacos. So, so good.

Went in for some tacos a few days ago and was blown away. The best crispy chicken taco I’ve had in 4 years of living in California. I also got a pork tamale and it was pretty good. My husband got the steak Street tacos. The steak was tender and juicy. They have a salsa bar with 6 different options. We tried them all and they were all great. Just watch out, the three labeled “hot” are actually super hot! Haha I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice lunch plate for a good price.

Burrito here is absolutely heat. It tastes amazing, besides the fact they have small fries inside with missing a bit of avocado. Still pretty good though especially when mixed with different salsas. California burrito hit the spot. Flavor profile of the meat is very delicious. The staff is quick but not loud enough to speak in the restaurant. Also wanted to try the flan and tres leches and they were out so headed over to the donut shop in the same mart.

The vegan nachos are delicious! Can't wait to try their other meatless items. So happy to find good vegan mexican food nearby.

Good vegan options. They do use the same fryer for all food if you are worried about cross-contamination. Food is delicious

Great place for vegans and non vegans! The vegan burrito I had was awesome! The owner came out and asked how the food was, and when I told him I was from the Seattle arena he gave me some rad little stickers! I will be back for sure!

Walked in just to try a chicken taco for $ 3. The cashier looked me like I was from another planet. Anyway, when he served me the taco, I was absolutely shocked. It looked like it was the size of a penny. I wolfed it down in two seconds flat, and although it was tasty, It was so small it was like eating a grain of rice. I am crossing them off my list for now. Most Mexican Restaurants over deliver but this one fell flat on quantity and offering good customer service. When non- Latin X people drop by to patronize a Mexican restaurant, we should not be treated like second class citizens. That really makes me want to boycott a business when they treat a minority customers like toilet tissue. 😓

I had a shrimp burrito. It was packed wit refried beans. There were literally 4 shrimp in there but they were not fresh. It tasted very fishy. The only good thing is that the service was fast. I am not sure that I would be going there again.

The food here is just excellent. The carne asada burrito had tender, flavorful carne with a nice char, combined with pico and guacamole made fresh (not the blended, thin green sauce some places have). So good! My wife really enjoyed her shredded beef tacos too, and there's a good choice of salsas at the salsa bar. Our first time visiting here definitely won't be our last.

I appreciate that they have vegan/vegetarian options but they aren't very careful when preparing an order. I also understand that there could be cross contamination but the veggie burrito that I ordered had several pieces of shredded meat. Staff said it was from cooking the cactus on the grill. Two stars because they did offer me a refund.

I think I’ve been here almost 50 times and every time I’ve had a the same great experience. The restaurant is very clean. The staff are quick and kind. The food is absolutely stupendous. I usually get the Aries Fajitas that comes with all three meat options, rice, beans, and tortillas. All that for $13. I never have to wait long for my food and the quality never changes. Keep it up Cruz Tacos y’all are doing a great job. Please don’t change. Lastly, the tres leches and the flan are awesome.
