If you're looking for a traditional dipping ramen and traditional Japanese ramen shop atmosphere, this is the place you should visit if you come to Nakano station area. Walk out from north gate, and make a right, you'll see this ramen shop right at the first corner. Their dipping ramen offers authentic bonito flavour, and they also serve wheat germ noodles, which is something special that you should try. There's only 5 seats in the entire ramen shop, reserve min. 20 minutes for waiting during dining period of time.

When I was still living near Nakano, this place has been my go to spot for tsukemen. Its broth is a very thick and tasy fish base vegetable soup with a thick chunky soft pork meat. You get to choose 2 types of noodles, I normally go with the atsumen. Highly recommend this place. Get the additional aji-tama (flavored egg)

A must-try Tsukemen Shop when you're in Nakano. I was greeted by the pleasant staff who's all smiles. She informed me that this is not a Ramen place, but Tsukemen. (Of course I know, but it seems like a lot went here with different expectations. She helped me choose what to order. 990 Yen for a Tsukemen with Pork. Darn was it sooo tasty! The broth is kinda a mix of pork and fish. It's complex and it tastes delicious! The cold noodles are perfectly cooked, too! It's really not cold, but warm. Just enough for you to dig in right away. The place is kinda small, though. Seats max of 10 I think, so expect a line on meal times.

Best bonito ramen i ever had. The first thing that made me interested to try this ramen was the paper from tokyo walker magazine in their wall.

This is the first real meal my husbands and I ate in Japan, we chose it randomly. The shop keep did not speak English, but he helped us to the machine to make our tickets. We had just arrived to the country so it felt nice to be helped out when everything was pretty intimidating (no English). The food was very good and came out very fast. The noodles had a great texture (chewy and not too soft) and the broth was savory without being overly salty. They gave an extra portion to my husband for free which was unexpected. Thank you for the nice time and delicious ramen.

Absolutely fantastic. Hole in the wall place with only 10 seats. Very intimate and cozy atmosphere. Popular among locals so not tourist packed. After you're done with the noodles you're supposed to add hot broth from the metal thermos on the table to the dip and drink the resulting soup. 10/10 would come again.

High quality tsukemen style ramen noodles with a vegetarian base for the soup. You can will eat meat with the soup though. And their spicy dishes actually have a pretty decent kick to them if you ask for it. Impossible to go wrong here. And you can order more than double portion size!

This was our first meal in Japan and we all can't stop thinking about it! After trying the tsukemen here.... We tried other places because we don't have tsukemen back home... This place was the best out of all the ones we tried. The noodles were amazing. The texture of the noodle helped to pick up the thick sauce making it the best combo ever. Definitely a locals place as there was no English at all. We were lucky that some locals standing in line knew some English to help translate for us. I would 100% recommend this place.

It’s a nice small shop for tsukemen. The broth was thick and delicious. Totally love it. There would be a line outside. But definitely a local place to go since the menu vending machine is in Japanese.

Must try. Good vibes and service. Tsukemen is better than Ramen for me. The best experience. The host of the place was so accommodating. Heads up place is small and I compact but really good food. Try the spicy.

Some mean heat on this one. Be wary. Absolutely delicious though!
