Excellent beach no matter what the season! Beautiful sand with lots of beach space to enjoy. Restrooms and outdoor shower, as well as a handicapped walkway that leads near the water. There is a restaurant on the beach as well as an ice cream/snack shack. You will need to pay for parking during the summer months but it’s not very expensive. Kiteboarders are often there. Great sunsets as well. Beautiful place for a wedding too!

Lake Michigan is beautiful, 5 stars. Parking at the beach use to be free. Now, it's $9 daily. If you eat at The Deck, you can have your ticket validated and get half back. They do issue tickets, so be wise. Signs are posted but could easily be overlooked if you are not familiar with area. Sunsets are beautiful.

One of the most beautiful sandy beaches if not the best on Lake Michigan. Very fine sand, very clean, you step out of the car into the sand. The Deck restaurant is right there for a tasty BBQ meal with a cocktail or a beer.

This little slice of paradise is my happy place. This beach is underrated and always has plenty of space. The little cove is my favorite place to take the kids to swim, protected from the big waves, and the pier is the perfect place to practice some flow arts. There's a big cool playground, TONS of parking, a footwashing station (in the summer) and incredible dunes! This is all not to even mention proximity to The Deck, which in the summer is THE PLACE to take in some delicious food with super fun, chill atmosphere. There's even little fire pits available for public use. Love this park!! 🥰

Beautiful beach. Restaurant/bar on the beach as well as a concessions area and a public bathroom. The beach also has a playground, plenty of parking, plenty of space, and many benches to rest along the way. One of my favorite beaches ever. My happy place!

This was a great place for a family day at the beach! It was clean, had restrooms, an outdoor shower, and the lighthouses were really neat! There is also a BBQ restaurant that smelled amazing. We didn't eat there, as we brought a lunch, but it looked like a neat place, and it got quite busy later in the day. I would recommend taking folding chairs and some type of shade. We went on a Thursday morning and it didn't get busy until mid afternoon.

Great place to access Lake Michigan from the Muskegon area. Parking is prepaid at $10/day or $20 for a season pass. The beach was very clean. The bathrooms were relatively clean. Easy parking all the way down the park. We are up here for the week and have visited every day. There is a nice play structure and beach volleyball courts on the premises.

Love this beach! Lake Michigan is just perfect, the sand here is wonderful for kids to play in, and the light house is a fun perk. Live the sunsets!

I love Pere Marquette! I grew up going to the beach here and it is still as beautiful as I remember as a kid. It's a great spot to watch the sunset and the waves crashing along the shoreline. I got engaged at Pere Marquette beach to the love of my life. This place holds such a special place in my heart!

Amazingly beautiful views of the pristine beach and the lighthouses. We enjoyed the walk to the lighthouse, and the breathtaking views of Lake Michigan and the beach.

Very unexpected, we stopped here on a recommendation, gorgeous place. Cold water but a great sunny day.

VERY NICE beach area with tons of room on a soft sandy beach! Well taken care of! Paid $7.00 for an all day park pass. Well worth it. Gradual decline in the water and clear sand below. It was like going to Florida beaches only cooler and friendlier to everyone! I could not recommend this more, we had a relaxing blast here! There are bathrooms in the area we went too. We WILL come back, it was that nice!

Lots of sand and waves. The whole family had a great day at the beach. There are public restrooms and changing areas. There is a bar/restaurant near the beach and another place to get ice cream. There is parking along the beach but it cost $10.

Had a fun day! Wish it wouldn't have been so windy but a very clean beach and bathrooms being close was a must. Would definitely recommend!

Great beach experience, lots of parking available, clean sand and accessible to the water. The Deck is a popular spot for dining and night life, and the Beach Cove is a convenient place to change clothes, shower off sandy feet and get refreshments. A perfect beach spot in Michigan.

Due to the Canadian wildfires fires the day at the beach was particularly clouded, but nevertheless in was an enjoyable visit. It did eventually clear up once the wind picked up, but I had a chance to take plenty of pictures and videos. Overall great beach! Don't bring your dogs though. Also someone anchored their boat on the beach. Not cool!

Beautiful sunset..grandkids enjoyed it. Big beach area, lots of parking. You do need a $10.00 parking pass, you can purchase at a kiosk in the parking lot. Playground for kids. Granddaughter enjoyed picking up shells. Public bathroom.

I love this beach! There is a lot of space to run and play and it's always quite clean! I recommend eating at The Deck which sits right on the beach! And the pere is so beautiful to walk on during sunset, only issue is that some of the concrete is missing so it's not the most wheelchair accessible.

This place is really calm and soothing! The view is good, the beach and the crowd is nice. I was amazed to see a deer nearby and took pictures. The parking is free and the path to lighthouse looks scenic. Happy to visit the place.

This place never disappoints with its amazing sunsets and numerous ice cream spots. There are also some good places to grab some grub. It was a better place when parking was free and there were less buildings near the beach. That being said, The Deck is quite a good date spot given it's a great sunset night.

This beach is very pleasant and clean. The beach is wide and contains a lot of sand unlike some other beaches in the area. There’s also a playground and snack shack by the beach. If you stay late enough, you can even see a nice sunset over the water. I’d recommend going here for a good beach experience on Lake Michigan.

We only went during sunset, but it was still a very beautiful scenery even if it was cold and windy. It's a nice place to go and relax after a stressful day and just look out over the lake and watch the sun set.

How can you not love this.. beaches empty but very cool wind, but oh really makes you feel alive. Stunning beach.

A really nice beach. It was a Saturday when we were there so it was very crowded and parking was limited but if you were patient you could get a spot. A great concrete walkway that goes out to the breakwater light. A very popular boating harbor, also. A good place to bring the family for a day in the sun.

No matter the time of day, or season of year, this is by far my home away from home. My kids and I live at this beach in the warmer months. It is normally pretty clean. Sometimes jerks leave trash but there are trash cans all over so you can be a not jerk!! Portable toilets available and there is also a permanent bathroom available during the summer. A restaurant is right on the beach with a walk up window and sit down seating too. They offer food, drinks, and ice cream. There are also several locations near the beach that sell ice cream and snacks too. You do have to pay for parking but if you live in the county of Muskegon you get a free parking pass.
