Embarrassing. Setting is very nice, but I had a really rotten experience. Ordered perch dinner. Upgraded and added corn chowder soup. Soup was good. Dinner came and I got five enormous pieces of fish. It wasn't lake perch, for sure. I've eaten perch dinners probably 400 times. Never saw them this big. They tasted foul. Breading was good but fish was spoiled. Waitress never visited after meal was served, so I finished my waffle fries and cole slaw. Never got drink refills after dinner was served. When I told her I wasn't happy with the fish, she took some and said she'd speak with the chef. She came back and said the managers would like to offer me a complimentary dessert. I declined. Instead of comping the meal, they took 40% off. For $21, I got fries, cole slaw, bread and coffee. Manager never visited me personally either. Embarrassing.

Fantastic office party. The only hang up was we’d asked a week prior to make sure they had a certain number of bottles of champagne on hand and they thought we were kidding. We weren’t. Beautiful setting. Nico provided top notch service. It’s our tradition for us to have our end of the year party at the Lake House and they always do a great job. World class view and wonderful dining experience/service.

I got the filet mignon medium rare and it was so delicious. The gravy was very good and savory it complimented the dish very well. The potatoes were seasoned well and had a good taste. The asparagus was cooked well. The turtle cheesecake was very good! I would order both dishes again. Our service was AMAZING! She was always one step ahead and we never had to ask for anything.

Beautiful location! Unfortunately, we didn't get to enjoy it due to poor customer service. We made a reservation 3 weeks ahead of time for a birthday dinner. We stated at the time of reservation that we would like to be outside, and we were not told that would be an issue. However, when we arrived, they said you could not reserve outdoors, it was 4pm, and there were empty tables ALL around. We asked to sit at a large table that was set up outside, and they did attempt to get one ready, but one of the tables was broken and wobbly. It was not appropriate or acceptable to eat or serve food on. We simply asked for that small table to be replaced with a nearby sturdy table, but Wendy (the manager) refused. We also asked to sit at another table that was large, but Wendy said it was reserved... despite not being able to reserve tables outside?!?! In addition to Wendy being extremely rude and unprofessional, other staff were unprofessional, which is a huge disappointment for a restaurant with such high reviews. As we left due to the fact our group of 10 could not be accommodated, we saw them switch out the previously mentioned table for another group. The fact the other patrons were noticing this and laughing at the state of the table, and the behavior of the manager is very telling.

Had a really nice visit at this place. Beautiful restaurant by the water. I didnt give it a 5 stars because of the menu, i am kind of visual and they had the waitress reading what I guess was the special of the day and I really prefer to read it myself or see the picture. Otherwise, this place is fantastic, and it was worth coming all the way from Lansing. We sat outside facing the Marina. They even let us choose exactly where we wanted to sit. Not too many places do that. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by the friendliest personnel . My server Sarah was amazing. Hopefully, I got the correct name. I had the calamari, which was the best I've ever had, and the chicken club sandwich, which was delish, even though i was too full to finish it. My husband had the fish and waffle fries, and he loved it. I really recommend this place.

Fantastic location over looking the marina with views of Muskegon lake. Food was elegantly prepared. They also have an event center that would ideal for weddings with a hotel next door and plenty of parking.

Very nice restaurant nice style, they do take reservations we did not have to wait we were seated by a lake side very enjoyable watching boats come in. We started with their breaded califlower which was amazing a nice peach tea to compliment our meal thanks to our server and lake perch for entree it was ok but lacking flavor, we'll try something different next time. My husband and I ordered walleye dinners, they were delicious! I don't usually like coleslaw, but their coleslaw was the best that I've ever eaten. We also had the crab cake trio and they were absolutely delectible!! The Pina colada I ordered was made perfectly, without skimping on the alcohol. I must mention that the views of the sunset over the water were an amazing touch to an already great evening! It's pricey, but for a special occasion (we were celebrating our belated anniversary), I'd say that the food makes up for the expense.

So happy we found this awesome spot! Gorgeous views of the water and fantastic friendly service. We didn’t get a reservation but still were able to get a decent view of the water from our table, although it is recommended to get a reservation if you want one of the window side booths or tables. Food was delicious and plentiful! Lots of flavor and very fresh. Bar was well stocked and they make a great Texas mule! I can imagine this place is probably even better during the summer but it was great even in the off season. Definitely recommend!

For our wedding anniversary we decided to have a nice dinner outside overlooking the marina and watch the sunset. We shared the Seafood trio of crab cake and other interpretations with sauces. For a second course we shared a Ceasar salad with Salmon. The salmon was one of the best I've ever tasted. Delicate and flavorful. To make it a true surf and turf we closed with a burger and split that too. The seasoned fries were delicious. The burger was okay, but couldn't hold up to the salmon. We shared a Crème brûlée which was not bad, but not quite amazing either. This version had a chocolate type glazing on top that mostly competed with the custard. The fruit on top was fresh and tasty. All in all a wonderful dinner. Try their salmon.

Their crab cakes were decent. Walleye was good. Everything there was just basic food. Nothing wowed me to where I’d go back. They spent a lot of time on the presentation of the food. I got an old fashioned and literally had three sips and it was gone. Service wasn’t the greatest. I wanted tarter sauce and my meal was almost done by the time I got it. I spent a bit over $200 for basic food and service. The presentation of the dishes was great. On a plus the views were spectacular. We sat outside and saw a beautiful sunset.

The food was very good, bit out of my price range but that's what business lunchs are for. They also took very good care and were very attentive to our group. If you are looking for a nice meal this is a good place to go

Food, drinks, and ambiance were adequate. From the serving of appetizers we were told we needed to hurry up our meal due to another reservation. We did not stay in any way excessively, but were requested to leave by the manager, Brittney Perez. If you wish to eat quickly and be booted, this is the place for you. For a relaxed and enjoyable meal, go elsewhere!! Managers are beyond rude. The owner is John Rucks, and he needs to make some serious changes!

Beautiful atmosphere, but the most disappointing expensive meal. Took 30 minutes to get our first drink. Our first drink a light dirty martini took 30 minutes. It was served warm and did not taste like any olive was used. Heidi made our second martini and it was cold and amazing! Food took an hour and a half. We were about to cancel the meal and it came out. Disappointed we did not cancel. The scallops and the perch were cold. They gave us another perch meal which was hot and tasted good, but we could not enjoy it because we were already so frustrated. Overall the food and service does not compliment the atmosphere. My fish taco at the docks was better.

The atmosphere here is pretty awesome!! I ordered the Walleye and that was amazing with rice and green beans. My husband ordered sticky ribs with fries and he loved those as well!! Service was outstanding!

Coming from Texas, this place is amazing and cooked a perfect Fillet Mignon. The drinks were superb and really icing on the cake. Feeling the cool breeze off the water, calming music playing, this was exactly what I needed. Thank you again to the staff being very friendly and professional.

As a whole, I could've given this place a 5 star because everything was perfect but I am kind of visual when it comes to choosing my food I like to see a picture or reading it my self but they have the waiters read, I guess the special of the day, and I'm kind of ADD don't really pay attention, everything else was perfect they even ask you where you wish to sit which not too many places do that. We sat outside overlooking the Marina what else could you ask for I had rhe Calamari which is the best I've ever had. I had the Calamari appetizer, which i usually have everywhere I go and this was the best one ever. My waitress Sarah, I think that was her name, she was amazing and very patient and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend it. And don't let me forget the staff that greets you when you come in also amazing.

I have been coming to the lake house several times each summer for 6+ years.. Never have I ever had such great service there! If you go, please ask to sit in Heidi P section. She is an amazing waitress. Very attentive, helpful, knowledgeable. She made our girls night out a success with her fun and bright personality! She is a true asset to the Lakehouse team! Thank you for a fun time!

Great location, nice staff and great atmosphere. Their New England Lobster Roll takes a large artistic license with what I'd call a "New England" lobster roll and I was very disappointed with it. Crab cakes were great. Family member liked the lobster roll. But it was unacceptable to me. Another family member ordered a medium rare steak and got a much more on the medium side steak.

Very nice restaurant right by the lake and look into the marina! Great selection of wine and beer with great lunch and dinner menu! Most impressive thing is the kitchen or chief can twist or alter the dish to your liking which was amazing! We have our perch cooked the we like and they accommodate it! Five stars just for that!

The environment is great. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the plates they're offering. Although the price is a little bit higher if that isn't an issue for you this is definitely a great place to go.

Top notch food, service and ambience. Simple menu with only the freshest seafood and seasonal ingredients. Our seafood cake trio was a treat, of which the lobster and shrimp cake was the best. There was a beautiful variety of accompanying textures on the appetizer plate. Corn butter-polenta was flavorful and the remoulade and salsa tasted light and fresh. Together, everything on that plate went really well. We had fish sandwiches. The perch was fried in a light batter and had the right crunch. The blackened grouper was delicate with just the right amount of Cajun seasoning. House made chips as accompaniments were OK. Our server, Nico had excellent table side skills; he was attentive and knowledgeable. I’d be going back if I were in Muskegon again.

So disappointing, terrible waitress, she forgot about us, even though she walked by us several times. Food was horrible. I had the Classic Burger, it tasted like one of the cheap burgers you buy in the cardboard box. My husband had the Martha’s Vineyard Salad, what a mistake that was. The greens were wilted and the apples were no where to be found. And on top of it missing most of the items listed on the menu it was the same size as the side salad my brother had! We Definitely should of went to Dockers!!!
