Got their spicy chicken sandwich. It smelled really good. My kids are them and said it was better than Wendy's.

Food: nice verity and great taste. Appearance: Not amazing but not the worst, it fits Muskegon. Customer service: average so overall good. Experience: overall it’s consistent and quick so I have no complaints and would recommend.

Absolutely fantastic service! Fantastic food. We were told when ordering sprinkler would come 9n in 30 minutes when we were eating outside. It came on early and our food got wet. Even though we were warned. They replaced all our food. We didn't ask they just did it. Plus threw in free pies! They know great customer service. My burger was amazing. Thank you Checkers!

Ordered a Big Buford, without ketchup. Got a burger with ketchup scraped off. My daughter had a paper tag in her chicken. Female employee that read back my order spoke so fast, I thought she was in a race. And the guy at the drive thru was the most unfriendly, inhospitable staff member. I am a General Manager of a fast service restaurant…and would definitely coach my staff on how to make orders correctly, and treat people well. Unless you don’t want to build sales. I was there at 6 pm on Oct 20 if management would like to hold staff accountable.

Absolutely LOVE this location!!!! I'm there pretty much 6 days/week. Always smiling faces and fast service! Even though our orders get a little crazy and we occasionally pay in change. As often as we're there, I should know a couple employees by name! They definitely go above and beyond to make sure we leave happy. Even though they probably secretly wish we'd stop coming back! 😂 ✌️❤️🥧🍨

This location has the best employees. They are always friendly, orders are correct and the food is not only hot but fresh. I wish they kept a separate fryer for the funnel cake fries because their seasoned fries would be so much better without the sweet taste from the shared fryer grease.

I would love to give Checkers a 5 star review, but for a couple reasons I can’t. I decided to give Checkers a try for lunch today and it was my first visit ever. First let me say very fast, friendly, courteous service! I had fries and a Cheeseburger. The fries were fresh, delicious and piping hot, the burger was cold and the meat terrible tasting; like the worst quality ever! I wanted this place to be good and what great potential. And why were there sweet pickles on my burger instead of dills. Did not enhance the flavor of the meat at all! It is my opinion that if the quality of meat was improved Checkers would be THE fast food go to in Muskegon. Owners: I know meat prices have soared, but check out Sam’s club for an excellent quality meat at far better prices than any I’ve seen, and I’ll bet really great prices are available for a business.

I don't expect much from fast food, but I DO expect fresh, non-contaminated food from an establishment that strictly follows a health code! Found this hair at the bottom of my container and I'm absolutely disgusted! Tried to call to speak to a manager, but of course no answer. Clear sign I don't even need to eat this mess anymore. Your team should ALL be wearing hair nets, PERIOD! You all should be ashamed because this is ridiculous! 🤢

This testing is only for the food. Food is trash. I loved Checkers as a kid but it's horrible now, even my kid said it was gross. The quickness of their crew is what shines. The line was hella long but it was super fast.

Kinda cool atmosphere outside on a picnic table, but food was amazing as always. $5.00 meal was good, but the Strawberry swirl cone was amazing!

Busy, busy, busy, and rightly so. Expect a small wait during lunch/dinner hours. But the food is consistently amazing and the prices seem low for the sheer quantity and quality of what you're getting. For being exclusively a drive-thru location, it's kinda novel that they have a walk-up window. The Big Buford is a must to try, and their little box of chicken and potato wedges is an insanely cheap guilty pleasure type snack. The desserts are amazing, too

Last night, I ordered a triple baconzilla through Doordash. When I got my order for the triple BURGER, there were NO meat patties. I drove up to the store, and the workers were too busy holing around to help customers. I sat in the drive-through for over 40 minutes. At least 20 of that was at the window where they forgot I was there, not once, but twice. It was only the second time they noticed me that prompted them to finally start making the food. The replacement burger was terribly made and absolutely drenched in sauces and grease. I'm really disappointed in all of this. Edit: I took the original review down to add the photo.

Great tasting food, fast! Lots of choices to make and a variety of foods, snacks, drinks, and fried yumminess to choose from. The staff has always been pleasant and friendly, and there is usually a wait in the drive thru line prior to ordering, however It moves relatively quickly from arrival, to order, to eat time. We have been going back for years! The food is amazing. Prices are affordable and worth the quality/ quantity. We definitely recommend checkers for your lunch/dinner/snack needs.

1 star because I have to leave one to give a review....Came here to buy dinner for a family of 6, easily $60 worth of food. Walked up to the window, people were up there wondering if they forgot about them at the window then the guy came up and was all rude to the people standing in line and even rolled his eyes! Lost our money today!! Do better! That service was pathetic! Didn't even end up ordering here!!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

I love checkers. It's awesome for fast food! The girl who waited on my wasn't super friendly but not horrible.

The food was almost ok. The girl at the window was pretty rude. The service window is broke and barely opens. The outside of the building and parking lot could use some attention. There was no line, not surprised. Won't be going back to the Laketon location.

They wasn't friendly at all it took to long before your order was done. They act if they didn't understand what you had ordered. The one lady after giving us our food she was digging all in her eyes

9/10 times food is spot on. Service on the other hand.... very rude. Short guy with glasses and brown hair. He's the rudest of them all. Sad because their food is great. I know customer service can be exhausting and the rude customers can make you question your job. I just don't get why this guy is rude everytime..... oh well.

FRIES! FRIES! FRIES! Checkers (Rally's if you live further South) has THE BEST fries of any fast food out there... Heck, I'll even go as far as saying they have THE BEST fries of any restaurant I've tried, fast food, take out, dine in and so on. I've never had fries seasoned with spices so perfect that a flavor of pure awesomeness is what your left with! OH! And let me throw in there that they have a new Strawberry Twist soft serve ice cream cone that's to die for only $1.00! We're always pleased with the Muskegon location, the staff is usually polite, wait time is fair and the food is good. 😊

You need to update store hours. I just came at 9:58 pm on Wednesday night and the google site says it’s open till 11 pm. I pulled up to the speaker and someone came on the speaker said “we closed” and stopped talking. Update this bullsh so People aren’t wasting gas money on a drive for NOTHING!

Been a fave for my whole life. Sucks that the staffing has gone downhill tho. They're just kids, which is fine, but they were kinda rude and didn't seem like they had been trained well if at all. I don't blame them, but the training manager should do better. Sad really

We made an online order, we got all the way home and my daughter's food was not in the bags. To say we live a little out of the way is not a joke. We live so out in B.F.E. that by the time our food gets here it's no longer hot or even warm. So we ended up having to drive all the way back there to get it. Which I don't like. However, i can sympathize with them because i have worked in food service before myself. Accidents happen. They are usually extremely busy so I know it can get crazy. I wish we didn't have to waste gas, especially with gas prices being how they are, but this happens. No one's perfect.

Always just okay. The price isn’t terrible, but the portions are considerably smaller. I wouldn’t say it was bad, just fast food. Not my favorite place in the world, but the line always moves fast and the workers are friendly.

I drive for TWO of the big name food delivery services and Checkers seems to IGNORE the delivery orders they get and only concentrate on the drive thru customers. I have gotten to where I REFUSE any and ALL orders from Checkers! I DO NOT GET PAID TO BE IGNORED! So everyone 😔

The speaker system was down, and the woman who took my order at the window was very calm and professional about the situation. The food was very delicious, as always, and I will continue to visit my favorite hamburger joint .

Is a checker's Burger or fries made out of any of these animals? I am not sure. But I do know it seems like they're going to Africa to harvest these animals to make my sandwich. And I am not happy about that.

Got the chicken strip meal and the strips were way over cooked and cold. Fries were cold but the burger was OK. Hopefully the next time we go it will be better.

I fir the most part like their food my issue is if you want the wings you have to order and pay online only way you can get them but.... They don't answer I keep getting a voicemail which I did leave one but no call back I don't understand why they can only be ordered online I broke down decided to wing it no pun intended but obviously that was a let down 👎
