I came here by seeing online reviews. I expected too much atleast a good food experience.. I feel myself very pathetic when I came here. Me and my family Very very very disappointed guys. You are young entrepreneurs don't forget that. You should give little importance to your customers. Okay let me tell my experience.. Pros : instead of banana leaf or plate we got a chatti. Nothing else Cons : • Very very bad hospitality • No parking space (that may be consider it's okay) • that long haired guy at the cashier seat, he don't mind whatever happen inside the shop. I wondered about him. What a wrong attitude he have I don't know he is employee or owner of the hotel. Anyway very very disappointed with his attitude. He don't even looking to customers • No one is coming for taking orders (I don't know whether less staff or lazy staffs) • every customer need to wait minimum half an hour for food delivery and for us sharp 40 min it took. • cleaning didn't felt in a proper manner. He also feels a lazy guy (may be because his lack in work motivation) •Washing area need to be clean and hygiene •I was hearing angry words in Hindi from the kitchen. Wash area is nearer to kitchen there is only one curtain as partition. Already there are less staff so I'm not sure about the existing staff also non mallus. • coming about food part we had veg chattichoru. Very very pathetic. For asking a sambar I waited everyone for many times. How can I eat white rice without curry? Do they have common sense?? No one even looking to us. What type of mentality they have, I don't know. Anyway it's very very very bad for your future. Atleast I wish you will change your attitude in future. Best luck

The picture says it all..It was my favourite place for lunch.. this went ther with family.. totally disappointed..And the reaction of the lady at the cash counter was something to be highlighted here as if shes not the part of that restaurant....it shows the responsibility!!!.. people are there for a good ambiance and and homely kinda food ...and this is what they serves to coustomer.

Food is very tasty but u have to search before u eat . I have found an insect in my ordered kizhi biriyani 😂. And we complained it into the authorities . Other dishes was really yummy that I hadn't eaten such delicious food items before untill I received the order of kizhi biriyani . I literally throw up after seeing that big insect in our order . I won't ever regret coming here it was a lesson to watch what u eat 😌🙌 the proof of what I got in my dish is given below as a photography u can see the insect lying beautifully deadd . The food was superb. It was served hot so that it became tastier. It is very crowded, and reservations were not available. Since the cafe was filled with customers, the food served a bit late. But overall, it was good.

The overall experience was really poor.we ordered masala dosa which was soo bad in taste ,not hot and was so thick and salty.even after complaining and replacing the dosa it was not hot and the dosa was a little better. The butter naan and garlic naan was nice and the aloo Gopi masala was tasty too. But the wheat tandoori porata was just okay. The paneer butter masala was really bad.. Before 1 year when we visited the food and service was nice but now both the food and service was really disappointing. Even after complaining about the food the response from their side was not impressive.

This was one of the places with unexpectedly best food experience. You might be surprised to see a small restaurant which serves food in Chatti. We tried Bheeman Chatti and chatti biriyani. They were really awesome. The Bheeman chatti is sufficient for 2. So better to order 1 for 2 and then order the next. Actually there are more things to try. Looking for a second visit

Really unhappy with the service at Madurai restaurant. Whatever we ordered came really late including the parcel and bill and when we expressed the same the response was even worse. The guy whom we talked to said that they were understaffed and this is what we can do. An arrogant 'take it or leave it' reply. Will definitely think twice before going back to the restaurant thanks to that reply.

A bit crowded.The food is also not worth the rates you have to pay. But the tea kada or the snacks counter is quite good. The seating arrangement is also not comfortable at all.

Poor customer service as it is short staffed compared to the customers coming in. Ordered chatti choru and had to wait for more than 45 minutes to get it. The taste and quality is below par than expected. It has got more hype than it deserves I think. I wouldn't prefer going there again.

Combonation is a good small place to have lunch. It is famous mostly due to its elaborate menu featuring several kinds of Chatti Choru. People come here mostly for the different kinds of Chatti Choru and they are all good. Went there with 5 people and ordered 2 fish chatti choru, 1 chicken chatti choru and 1 beef chatti choru and 1 kizhi biriyani. They were all tasty, but some improvements may be made. Pros. 1. All the dishes were tasty. We enjoyed all of them. Each ChattiChoru we ordered consisted of mostly 7-8 curry items and the special curry (fish in fish chatti choru, beef in Beef Chatti Chor etc.) 2. Chatti (mud utensil) in which you are served is a good crowd puller. People seem to like it. I liked it too. 3. Served Sambharam along with it. It was actually tasty and deserves applause. I am mentioning a few points that could be checked for future improvements 1. Reservation in Advance to check the waiting. 2. More Seating places to Manage the crowd( if at all possible). 3. Parking space is beside the road itself, hopefully some arrangements may be done for parking more cars 4. Chatti Chor was good, But as someone like me, it was just enough or not enough. Maybe a bit more rice and curries could have done the trick. Me and my friends felt the same about it. Also, no extra rice later, and as per my understanding, extra rice would cost you. 5. The wash basin at the top was actually so dirty and the water was just trickling which made washing hands a mighty task. Fix this ASAP. Overall a good place but improvements atleast about the rice and the upper wash basin may be made pretty easy. Recommended.

Went there at 4.30pm from Sobha City after coming across a lot of (paid?) promotions. Ordered mixed chatti biriyani and kizhi pathiri. The meat was not tender and juicy unlike the vloggers' claims. The neymeen was frozen for ages before it was cooked and the prawns werent even peeled! The spice level was probably made unbearable to give the dish a shaap like taste. The only positive was that the fresh lime was fresh!

Expired & decayed I have ordered(swiggy) kizhi porotta from combonation , I got expired food and it smells really awful. I payed for this expired food and given complaint but I didn’t get the amount I paid . Breastfeeding mothers kindly don’t buy from here .

Place with a difference. Kizhi biriyani, kizhi porotta and special combos of chattichor steals the menu which are offered in big portions. Ambience is good with limited seating but the food compensates for all other shortcomings at the place.

Tried ‘thondimothal’ it was nothing but a horrible Biriyani along with one egg and a small whole chicken. Rice was cold and the quantity was very less. Staff was are very humble and was kind enough to listen my concern - but a Biriyani a cold Biriyani for 250 rupees is not justifiable.

The food is above average. Thats the only positive thing about this restaurant. The staff here is uncourteous and they keep some kind of superior attitude while dealing with the customers. They don’t treat all customers in the same way. They will treat you depending on your attire, your sex, the car in which you came and the number of people in the group. This attitude exists with many of the vegetarian restaurants in this town and I don’t know why. If they can improve the customer care, its well and good. But, I wont recommend it to anyone with self respect.

I ordered Butter Masala Dosa and Channa Battura. Whereas Butter Masala Dosa lacks Butter itself and they charge Rs 100 for such a Dosa, it is not at all acceptable. And the Masala is not a great one. When Sambar was horrible Chutney tasted good. Channa Battura is just OK. But the price is again Rs 100. Onion provided with it was not sufficient. And they provided some pickle with that. Not their preparation it seems. May be purchased from the local market. For such a price it is not a best buy. And Taxes are extra But I recommend their Masala Tea and Filter Coffee outside the restaurant. It's in Tea Kadai. It's really tasty. And you have a good parking space inside. Ambience is good. Taste may be different from person to person. It's not my taste. But pricing is on a higher side

Hi, The atmosphere the food and yes service is also awesome, but there are 2 concerns 1) Parking 2) Place to have food. Now, Food that I had was awesome. Not just awesome but mouth watering. Wonderfully, served and taste is above awesome.
