February
2024:
What
a
world
of
difference
the
polyclinic
is
compared
to
what
I
described
below.
Attentive
specialists,
friendly
people
for
blood
collection,
etc.,
beautiful
building.
Well
in
terms
of
scan:
Asked
directly
in
polyclinic
by
specialist,
agreed,
went
to
general
radiology,
did
not
want
to
do
it
and
unfriendly,
and
sent
me
back
to
polyclinic,
then
open
radiology.
Checked
in
and
in
the
waiting
room
and
after
20-30
minutes
it
turned
out
that
no
one
came
and
was
sent
*again*
to
normal
radiology,
with
a
message
that
they
had
to
go
there
anyway.
Had
a
5
minute
scan
after
2
to
3
hours.
I
had
just
taken
15
tubes
of
blood,
strange
method,
it
was
quite
dull.
-
had
an
examination
carried
out
and
a
week
later
the
doctor
still
had
no
results,
so
we
had
to
go
urgently.
During
those
investigations
there
were
tickets
with
a
number
to
be
seated
at
the
counter,
but
3
times
people
stepped
in
front
without
having
to
take
a
number,
and
when
I
pointed
out
1
person
who
simply
walked
in
and
pushed
in
front
of
me
'Oh
I
didn't
see
them,
I
know
them
at
reception'.
Turned
out
to
be
correct
and
was
allowed.
Why
such
a
system?
I
was
30+
minutes
before
the
appointment
and
still
almost
late
for
reception.
Then
during
the
examinations
themselves,
the
employee
looked
like
a
trainee
or
student,
took
the
wrong
injection
several
times,
and
then
tried
another
arm.
I
could
have
explained
things
in
terms
of
veins
and
issues,
and
unfortunately
last
time
I
had
surgery
I
barely
spoke
Dutch
or
FR,
so
in
the
end
I
just
let
it
be
and
played
cheese
with
holes.
The
equipment
used
for
subsequent
scans
contained
condensation/moisture,
during
research
I
saw
drops
in
the
machine
itself
at
the
top,
never
experienced
that
and
have
often
had
scans,
of
which
identical
to
this
elsewhere.
-Emergency
department
looks
like
a
third
world
country,
see
photos.
Sheet
on
the
examination
table
blood
stains,
blanket
given
after
having
to
ask
(barely
heated)
also
red
stains.
Toilet
where
they
ask
you
to
put
urine
in
a
jar
is
even
worse,
even
risk
of
infection
I
suspect
(not
that
leaving
blood
everywhere
is
without
danger
in
an
emergency
room).
Rust
and
dirt
in
various
places
while
people
have
to
take
off
their
clothes
for
examinations
and
walk
around
in
hospital
gowns,
it
is
better
not
to
imagine
that
someone
weakened
would
cut
themselves
there.
Hygiene
control
non-existent?
1
person
seemed
to
have
fainted
after
waiting
for
ages,
no
one
cared.
-Person
with
an
electric
scooter
drove
full
speed
through
the
emergency
room.
It
seemed
like
someone
worked
there,
so
no
one
said
anything.
-Turned
out
by
1
employee
(for
something
they
had
not
pointed
out
to
me
upon
entering).
Bedside
manners?
The
more
politely
I
tried
to
respond
and
explain
that
I
had
not
been
informed,
the
more
incorrect
the
response.
-A
used
needle
was
lying
open
and
exposed
on
the
floor,
a
safety
risk
with
regard
to
infections,
etc...
It
was
then
closed
and
thrown
in
the
trash.
Only
an
extra
star
because
of
the
doctor
who,
although
in
terms
of
age
he
was
probably
an
intern
or
just
completed
his
studies,
tried
to
take
it
seriously,
but
over-questioned
me
to
such
an
extent
that
I
was
there
for
5
hours.
After
certain
things
that
didn't
help,
he
said
he
was
going
to
look
for
other
interventions/medication/...,
but
came
back
and
was
sent
home
with
extra
prescriptions
of
what
I
had
just
been
administered
(which
had
not
worked)
and
that
I
have
to
make
an
appointment
with
another
service
and
call
myself,
and
try
to
hold
on
in
the
meantime.
Probably
imposed
by
department
head
or
administration.
I
asked
and
the
waiting
times
were
weeks
long.
Once
I
had
extreme
pain
before
that
appointment,
I
had
to
go
to
the
emergency
room
again
this
weekend
or
next
week.
Why
no
recording
if
they
know
something
is
wrong
is
beyond
me.
The
desk
clerk
on
arrival
and
departure
was
ok,
but
could
not
do
anything.
As
soon
as
I
know
for
sure
that
they
will
release
results,
apparently
a
hell
of
a
problem
(I
don't
have
access
to
mijngezondheid.be
or
with
their
PacsOnWeb
codes,
it
says
-
which
is
mandatory
these
days)
I
will
go
elsewhere.
