Galet

Cafe Coffee store

😠 Disappointed. Taste and texture of the waffle are not good by comparing with the other Galet shop (just 2 mins walk from this shop, which has no seats). Also, the coffee here i tried is the worst but the most expensive I had in Belgium 🥲 People often mention waffle, waffles, good, Brussels, chocolate, shop, recommend, Galet, coffee, taste,

Nice coffee shop in the center of Brussels, it has a nice atmosphere and good coffee culture. they also make good waffles by default. I recommend this place!

This restaurant is exactly similar to the one just a few minutes away from it. However this is better if you want to sit and enjoy having the waffles. They are really good, original and the service is amazing.

I like the industrial yet modern feeling of this place. Definitely love the idea of the dishes and it was delicious. The staffs were friendly and you can take a look at their open kitchen of how their wafel breads are made.

A busy place, nice service and good waffles. I took a cafe latte and my friend took a soft drink. We got the drinks from the counter and waffles were served to the tables. Our waffle just didn’t arrive. When we asked for it, the waiter apologised, explained and asked what we would want extra on it. That was very nice.

I went to several different waffle places in brussels during my 3d in brussels and i really liked the waffles here! I got the classic belgian waffle (no toppings so i can taste the waffle by itself) and it had a nice glaze on the w that was crispy while the inside was light, fluffy and not too doughy or undercooked which i found to be kind of common here (and which i dont like). The granules of sugars inside the waffles were just the right amount for texture but not too much such that it was too sweet or too granular. The waffle was sweet by itself so homestly i dont think that more toppings are needed to overwhelm the buttery, honey flavours. Wish i went a second time but I ran out of time in Brussels!

Wonderfully fresh and warm waffles! We chose the liege one with chocolate and it was super. There are also savory waffles that we are yet to try!

Horrible. We had the chocolate and the raspberry waffles. Both were not cooked. The dough was soggy. I couldn't eat it. Do not recommend.

Was not really crazy about the waffles. 2 types - crispy and light w less sugar which were ok in flavor while the other was softer but way too sweet. Great coffee.

The chocolate waffle is filled with nice Belgian chocolate and it came warm. I enjoyed the taste and the overall ambiance. The service was a bit slow though

Pricey but you can sit down to eat. You can choose to get your waffles either Brussels or Liege style. The strawberries were fresh and the waffle served warm.

We took the Galet Club and the Galet Saumon fumé. Both Sandwiches were fresh and tasty. Unfortunately the waiting time was long and it was a bit pricey for what you get. We would recommend.

There are two Galet waffle options available: a restaurant and a shop. The shop lacks seating but offers significantly lower prices, about 5 to 6 times less expensive. If your sole intention is to taste the waffle, I would advise against coming to the restaurant. The ventilation inside the shop isn't great, and there are limited outdoor seats, only four in total. It's better to opt for the shop in this case

Wonderful waffles, it’s the first snack I had when I arrived in Brussels, what a good start for my trip

Nice place, very tasty waffles, but we waited 30 minutes for the waffle to arrive. Also, the coffee tasted bad.

Ordered the Brussels waffle with fresh fruits and Galet Club, we enjoyed both options very much. The lady who was working was very lovely and helpful too 👍🏻

Best waffles in Brussels 👌🏻 Had the liege on our first day and went back for the brussels waffle on our last 👍🏻 definitely recommend

Tried their waffle in another shop which taste good. But this waffle is NOT fresh and taste like CARDBOARD, is the WORST I have tried in Belgium. Totally not worth the price (eur7)

Went here for a good Brussels Waffle...wasn't disappointed, 10/10. We got a savory waffle (Galet Club) and a sweet waffle (Brussles waffle). Both were amaaaaazing and I immediately wanted to order a second round!

We came here for a breakfast waffle and drinks, and we weren't disappointed. Excellent waffles, of the softer, chewier type. Coffee was okay, but the smoothies they had were better. Good ambience too.

Delicious waffles. The place looks good even though I think it’s a bit naked (misses some decoration). They have a good selection in the menu and the prices are attractive (the waffles were surprisingly filling). The capuccino wasn’t bad, but my Nespresso does the exact same one. It’s one of the few cafes you can find savoury waffles around here. The food was ready fast and the cashier was very friendly. On the down side, if you order to eat in the price is significantly higher than take out and still you don’t get a proper plate nor proper cutlery, and cutting these waffles with plastic fork and knife is a bit of a disaster(we ended up eating with our hands). Proper plates instead of carton in that ugly McDonald’s like tray would make the place look better too. Another downside is that there’s no table service. That being said, I do recommend the place and will certainly be back.

Amazing place for some great waffles if you are ever in the city centre. Love the chill and stylish interior and even the bit of history (pretty sure if that one is made up, but still a great touch)

Best waffles in Brussels. This is a great choice in order to avoid the turistic places close to Grand Place. Their waffles are made of dough with different tastes: strawberry, cinnamon and apple, speculous or chocolate. I totally recommend the cinnamon and apple one. Prices are below average and food is of better quality. A vanille waffle is 2.45€ and the others are 2.95€

The best waffles I’ve ever eaten I ordered the chocolate sticks waffles with cream and it is insanely good I will definitely re visit Brussels just for them ❤️

Coffee with hazel was amazing. Best coffee I drank all week. Waffles with chocolate sticks inside was what we needed and were looking for

Loved the waffle but would loved if they used melted Belgium chocolate instead of ready made store bought chocolate sauce

So good 😊 Had Cinnamon waffle & Café latte Sat in Lovely atmosphere Very close to where I’ve been staying & the De Brouckére metro Great value for money

It is difficult to find places in Brussels where you can have good waffles without being for take away. In Galet you can choose, in addition to the fact that the flavor of its leige waffle is one of the best in the area. There is also hot chocolate which is not that easy to find. After trying several specialties I recommend the leige waffle with chocolate sticks inside.

I expected it to be way better because it sounded like it was one of the best waffle places in Brussels. I had some toppings like strawberry, bananas, butter and sugar Unfortunately it was really cold.. and too crunchy for a waffle . It wasn't warm so the butter could not melt and it was not soft from the inside I would personally not recommend this place I think the local once at the corner streets would be way better . The presentation looks good... But it's a lie

Horrible place to have your breakfast. We waited 2 hours for a burned homlet. And we paid high price for less we get. Almost 5 euros for 1 mini plastic cup of horrible taste of juice. Nothing looks like what it said on the menu. The staff were unfriendly and totally confused woth everythig and kept forgetting half of the order. Overall horrible horrible place to eat.

👍👍 Amazing food, one of the best Eggs Benedict I ever had. 👍👍 Easily the best waffles I've had so far. There are 2 options, Liege or Brussels. I suggest you try both. The Brussels waffle has a crunchy crust and a nice soft and airy interior. The Liege waffle has a softer still crunchy crust and a denser interior. Highly suggest eating here!
