Hotel Dhanya is the one of the oldest hotel in Muvattupuzha which is functioning for over 4 decades. It is located in Velloorkunnam close to Nehru park. Restaurant is very clean and fully air conditioned. Tried their chicken Biriyani, porotta and chilly chicken in the recent outing. All of those were nice especially the Chicken Biriyani. It tastes really nice with soft chicken pieces and well aromatic/flavorful rice. Porottas were fresh and soft and chilly chicken was really good. Another good thing is they don’t make you wait. Only issue is they have limited parking space but security staffs are trying their level best to accommodate more cars.

The food here is delicious. There is also good cleanliness. It is a good hotel in Muvattupuzha.

Very bad experience. Very Poor quantity. Even cannot have a single person. Fish curry meals for 180 rs even without pappadam😏😏. And also it is packed using this👇🏻. I wont suggest anyone to order and have food from DHANYA 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻.

Good restaurant.. Some noon times; rush is there but easy to access and normal near the bus stop so easy access too is good for us to reach easly. Both veg and non veg food is avilable there. Ac restaurant is open for all.. Good service and behavior of suppliers and management. But water is weams to be mandatory as bottles mineral water as when I asked for hot water the are not interested to gev the same. Cost is also little higher.

We ordered fish curry meals (Rs 140), chicken biryani (Rs 160), Porotta (Rs 13), chicken curry (Rs 140), & Fish fry (Rs 160). Good food & service at reasonable price.

1, The owner or receptionist- an old guy and another 50 year old guy does not really treat people nice. Every time I go there, I see them quarreling with somebody. It seems like they have a feeling like they run the world. May be, it's because they are rich that they have this attitude towards people. 2, Their food is decent but as expensive as a 3-5 star hotel but their hotel doesn't look like a 3-5-star hotel. It does not provide any posh environment like you see in big hotels. I would say, it's just a local restaurant. I have tried their chilly-chicken and liked it though. 3, Should people revisit here? For the attitude alone, I will not visit them anymore. I think more people should not promote such arrogant people especially when they are in the hospitality industry. Instead, we should promote other hotels near-by who provides great hospitality. I would pick Pepper and Salt instead of this hotel any day. The service there is fantastic and foods are tastier! So it is important to promote them instead of these guys.

One of the oldest restaurant in Muvattupuzha. Parking space is very limited. Neat and good dining area. Reasonable price. Staffs are friendly and well mannered. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is available. My favourite is Porotta and egg roast. Mostly its bit crowded during dinner time.

One of the best biriyani shop in muvattupuzha. Little bit expensive but excellent quality and taste. Quantity also good. Good customer service. Neat and clean. Parking space is one drawback. But always a staff assist you to arrange parking space.

Went there for vegetable meals. It wasn't good at all. The moru curry had high vinegar tint🤧. But the mushroom masala special was good. Service was good. Spacious and clean dining area with four to six seaters. No high chair. Online payments accepted. Not much wait to get food. Clean wash and toilet. Congested parking. Located in ground floor. The oldest restaurant in muvattupuzha. However the food was not much good .the remarkable fact was service..their quality was not that much good ..the biryani rice was good..but the greavy and chicken is pathetic.. it's a watery greavy that we can't eat..price also high ….overall not satisfied..

Neat interiors..staffs are Very friendly...for 150rs you are getting 5 Currys and pickles and finally an excellent adaprathaman payasam... Also had chicken biryani..one of the best in town.. This 🏨 has a legacy of its own. One of the oldest hotels in muvattupuzha. They serve wide variety of food menus. Meals, biryani,fried rice, noodles, you name it, they have it. Waiting time is almost nil. Card payments are supported Strictly follows and keeps a good family friendly atmosphere here. Overall had a nice experience.

One of the finest and oldest restaurants in Muvattupuzha.. Restaurant walls are decorated with photos of yesteryears of Muvattupuzha. Each photos depicts the glory of Muvattupuzha in olden era.. Restaurants is easily visible from the highway. Congested parking lot but parking Assistance available.

Best place to have good food in Muvattupuzha at affordable prices. I recommend Biriyani. To have meals you need to be a bit patient as it takes some time to get rice and curry the second time. If you are in a hurry and planning to have meals, then try to get sufficient rice and curry the first time. All the non-veg items are good.

We ordered beef fry and got stomach upset on the same day. Initially the restaurant was very good. But after corona their quality is reduced. Since it's a decent restaurant in the city we don't have much choice. No much parking facility. They ask to park on the road. Security who guide to park make people park cars close to each other which results in scratch and issues when someone opens car doors. Price for 4 people comes around 1500 for meals with 1 fish fry and 1 beef fry. Food tastes decent only issue with quality.

Serving delicious cuisine for decades in muvatttupuzha. Located at the beginning of the town, Hotel Dhanya has become a brand in the town for locals as well as travellers. Its really crowded during lunch time. Good place to dine in with friends and family. Food serviced has always been nice. Never had any bad experience. For families visiting with children and infants, they have got child chair as well a cradle made of bamboo. So mothers can enjoy the meal peacefully with your toddler enjoying a wonderful nap in the cradle. Even though the towel inside the cradle hasn't been washed for a quite a long time, it's always safe to carry your own. Parking options are available in the front of the hotel which is often full at times and theres option in theback as well which is a hidden place to many.

It will be my first and last visit. Visited this restaurant because of good review from my uncle as Muvattupuzha is his hometown. We both went there and it was the worst food experience even for my uncle.

To be honest.. the food was not great.. the only positive is the ambience is great and the service is good . I think due to highly overrated YouTube videos .. they have lost their quality.. the biryani rice was good..but the greavy and chicken is pathetic.. it's a watery greavy that we can't eat..overall not satisfied..

Me and my wife went to have veg meals today but hotel guys told only fish curry meals are available . Then we said to take out the fish curry because we don’t need to waste the food. But they didn’t hear that. We are still thinking why there is no veg meals? Why everyone has to take non veg? This is not fair .

I am a Tour Guide..... Dhanya Hotel at Cheruthoni jn. Very obliging staff. Great service. Tasty food served enthusiastically....I happened to stop there with a Russian couple for lunch...on our way to Thekkady from Munnar..

Tried porotta and chicken curry. Tasted nice. Though hotel is old its kept clean and parking is an issue

Pothi chor (rice with vegetables stir fry and fish curry) was very good. Their fried fish was also pretty good!! All in all tasty food at affordable rates!!!

Awesome south indian meal spread at Rs 140 - includes really good fish gravy. Fish pollichu is a really yummy dish

Good food If you are ordering fish fry you can avoid fish curry meals and order veg meals. By default they give you fish fry meals only.

Best Biryani in muvattupuzha town.one suggestion is that please provide water for drinking instead of keeping mineral bottles.

One of the best places in Muvatupuzha for having delicious food. It is the kind of hotel which speaks with the taste of the food rather than with the flamboyance of the interiors or fancy makeovers. The porotta and mutton chops is a must try. Only problem is,it isn't available more often than not. I had been there three times before I finally got the taste of it. All I can say is.. it was worth the wait.

Dhanya is a good restaurant, right at Muvattupuzha main junction. Food is top class and the service is good. You also have enough parking space in front of the restaurant. You have good ambience too. Will recommend it.

Best porrotas period! And the owner is a good man. Our daughter had allergies to dairy and the chef came out to clarify the menu for us. Good clean food at reasonable prices.
