Excellent food, amazing staff and fun atmosphere! Hands down the best breakfast place in Loudoun County. I highly recommend the pumpkin pancakes. Their burgers and sandwiches are delicious too. The potions are generous and the prices fair. The servers work as a team and someone is always checking on you. They are so friendly and will remember you when you come back. The owner is gracious and chats with all of the guests. Skip the chains and eat at Joe’s!

If you are in the Sterling/Ashburn area, Joe's Cafe is the best place for breakfast. The staff is very friendly and attentive. I have never had a bad meal. Plus, you have to love it when a restaurant post a sign like this.

OMG this has got to be the best family owned little diner in the Sterling, Herndon, Ashburn area. Their all day breakfast is unbelievably delicious. Habla Espanol. Awesome service, awesome food, awesome atmosphere.

Great family-friendly brunch spot! This restaurant may be small, but it has a big heart. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive, and the owner goes out of his way to make sure everyone has a great time. The food is also delicious and reasonably priced. My favorite dish was the veggie omelet with turkey sausage, but everything on the menu was yummy. Overall, this is a great place to go for brunch with your family. The kids will love the friendly atmosphere and delicious food, and you'll appreciate the reasonable prices and great service. They also have good parking options and a diaper changing station in one of the washrooms, making it a convenient choice for families with young children.

Hungry for breakfast, wanted to try something new. Came down to Joe's a few days ago. This spot is right off the main road. Parking is ample and right at front. I believe I had Nora's Combo and that came with Pancakes, soft scrambled Eggs, Bacon for meat, and Grits on the side. Boy o boy, where do I start. Pancakes stuck to plate, they were kinda hard and tasted like rubber; maple syrup packets were egregious. The eggs were tasteless and not "soft" scrambled, and the bacon was just bland. Oh, and the grits were too cheesy and/or greasy and I only ate a few spoons, left the rest. For a drink I had the Cranberry Juice. It was decent. I rate up one star for the drink and attentive service which alone was the saving grace. Bottom line, breakfast was close to mediocre and felt like I could have cooked up better (and I'm a novice cook). I feel they could have been overworked in the kitchen but at least the food came out really fast. Basically it is average fare and certainly filled my tummy; maybe I'll be back again to try something new, but wouldn't make this a "go to" spot.

Good experience every time I have eaten at Joe's. The owner, as well as the staff, are very welcoming. A few times at Joe's, and you'll be part of the family. If you're planning to visit Joe's Saturday am..Come early because it gets packed, and rightly so. This place is the best breakfast spot in town. It's hard not to come back again and again to this great breakfast spot.

As someone said to us, and we agree, it is the closest thing we've come to real Jersey diner-type food and service. The staff (cooking and wait) is quick, and attentive to coffee cup fills. The food is tasty and done well. For example, I love their grits. They're not a glommy ball a lot of other restaurants serve. The french toast tastes the way french toast should taste on it's own - not dressed up with additive flavours and toppings, and is a good thickness. Sausage comes in links or patties, cooked just right; and my husband loves the steak and eggs. We have yet to eat anything other than breakfast, but with the number of regulars the staff recognize and greet like family, I think it is safe to say everything is done well here. The prices are good and you will probably wait in line. (We have the three days in a row we have been here) But it moves fast, and it is worth the wait. This is definitely our favourite place for at least breakfast. 👍😊👍

Better than any IHOP or silver diner. Cheaper, YUMMIER, and family run <3 My friend got the 2 French toast meal and I got the chorizo con heuvos (got white toast instead of tortilla). They butter their toast so well. Also my friend is a coffee fanatic and says their coffee is perfect :) two cream, one splenda = bliss Service is always spot on. Waiters don’t rush you and actually smile and look at you. Our server was Jackie S but honestly Everyone who works here is so friendly and warm. Also when we left everyone (even the cook) said bye 🥲💙

Their french toast are the only thing ok about this place. They don’t use real eggs even tho we asked, asked to substitute 2 sausages and 2 bacon strips for 1 or 2 French toast since i don’t eat meat they also refused but said they could do it as an extra charge (side) … oh they also charge you $2.29 for a chocolate package To your answer… is better to overcharge for more (which is still not worth it, for what you call “food” and still your “meatless” choices are still besides the point) why is it so hard to substitute it?, your people is rude, overcharged and just not good, everyone have their own opinion and that’s mine, you’re probably good for old white people, you know… no flavor so yeah best wishes to your establishment

There was a small wait but after getting the food we see why. Everything that we tried here was delicious! The eggs were cooked perfectly. The pancakes were fluffy and had great flavor The bacon, sausage links, and sausage patties were all delicious! The hard part is choosing which meat to get. The servers were very friendly and gave impeccable service! If we are ever in the area again we will be back!

We were on a visit from Texas and found this place for breakfast. It was a hit! Affordable, excellent service, great food, and the owner even greeted every table and was helping to get coffee and take orders. The atmosphere was very welcoming and friendly and our food came out quickly and everything was correct and delicious! Would highly recommend stopping by if you have the chance.

Such a great place. We were promptly seated and service was great. They had chili and they had spaghetti. I asked our server if I could do chili spaghetti. She said yes and my meal came out perfectly. Friendly service and such great atmosphere. Server was so nice and checked on us often.

Absolutely amazing! Definitely more on the older side for the atmosphere but it’s homey and the service makes you feel really comfortable. All of the waitresses were polite, positive, and helpful. I enjoyed the experience and the cheeseburger is flavorful and a great size to fill you up. Will definitely be returning.🤩

It was a rainy Friday morning. I wanted to go to a classic diner for some breakfast. Came to Joes. Upon arrival I was sat at the bar. This has the look of everything I was expecting. But unfortunately that’s where it fell a part. Coffee - gross Eggs - ok Toast - good Hashbrowns - soggy and undercooked HamSteak - gross I was a bit let down by this place.

Heard about this place from a friend. Decided to try it out with wife, and some friends. Its a small location but have many parking. The dining atmosphere is very friendly not too tight. The food price is very affordable. The taste is better than any franchise restaurant. It literally feels like that home cook meal that ma and pops make you. Owners are very friendly, the staff is very quick and professional.

Went yesterday for the first time the Cafe and ALL DAY BREAKFAST enticed me there and so glad I went! Just as all the many other 5 star ⭐️ reviews say the owner the staff the atmosphere and of course the food were all great! I was lucky enough to be seated at the counter right next to the staff eating seat I chatted with the owner who as everyone says greets you at the door checks on refills and just makes sure everyone is happy. He adds to it all with a sense of humor very family like. If you ever want to take my semi for a drive let me know 😎 I’d be happy to let you take it for a spin 🙈

This is the local breakfast café that you wish every neighborhood could have. Joe and his staff are phenomenal food is great the service is great and the prices are great. We frequent Joe’s several times a month and are never disappointed with our visit. At every single visit Joe comes out and says hello to every single table. This is amazing customer service and something that isn’t always seen at other restaurants. That type of interaction and appreciation for customers ensures loyal customers. This is a very popular breakfast place on Sundays. You should anticipate a wait if you do not get there by 9 AM. There is a single long bench for those that are waiting to be seated. And there’s a long bench outside of the restaurant. Due to the quick service the wait is relatively short considering the amount of guests that are waiting to be seated.

What can I say, the rating exists for a reason. The food comes out quick, but with flavor. I stick to savory breakfast items and everything was done well. Great eggs, side meats and grilled English muffin, the only disappointment if I can say were the home fries and yet they worked well with the egg yolk and sausage patty. Definitely saved to visit again if I'm in the area. Just a heads up, place was packed.

Subtly nestled into an unassuming shopping center about 40 minutes outside Washington, D.C. and 7 minutes north of Dulles Airport is the best breakfast you will find anywhere within a day’s drive. You truly cannot go wrong at Joe’s Cafe. For breakfast you can choose anything in an impressive array of waffles, pancakes, and other similar things. My personal favorite is the French Toast. Again, there is no wrong answer. The eggs are beautifully prepared, scrambled or otherwise. The bacon and sausage are excellent. The hash browns are to die for. The fruit is fresh. If you’re not in the mood for breakfast, you can choose from a diverse menu of lunch options. The South of the Border section of the menu is phenomenal. I really have nothing negative to say or even constructive criticism. Everything about Joe’s is perfect. The aforementioned food always hits the spot, the atmosphere is delightful, and the people who work there are great at their jobs but even better people. Rami, Helen, Daniela, Jasmine, Jackie, Jenny, Jamie, Maria, Manuel, and everyone else I haven’t named — you guys are the best!

This place is definitely worth the wait. I’ve even exposed my family to Joe’s b’fast, and they even gave it 5 golden stars. We have thoroughly reviewed each dish for a minimum of 8 visits. This place is worthy of the “Cafe” symbol.

Perfect breakfast spot after a long trip and it’s near to Dulles airport. Exceptional service and friendly atmosphere. We’ll be back! Love the banana pancakes 😻

First time visiting. Wow! Wait staff was awesome. Food was great. Lots of seating but you don't feel cramped. And the chairs are really comfy. Owner was walking around talking to people, making sure everything was okay. Has an "old time" feel to it. Really nice atmosphere. Overall, very impressive. Will definitely come back.
