This is the beautiful mother church of the Diocese of Columbus! I highly recommend visiting on the first Sunday of every month for the Office Compline choir performance held at 9:00pm. Absolutely breathtaking.

Beautiful downtown cathedral. When travelling I always attend Mass at the local seat of the bishop. This one was lovely.

Stopped here after leaving The Catholic Museum. Just wanted to give thanks for celebrating my 68th Birthday. And give thanks for the past Journey and to my current visit and future experiences.

We were here for a lovely funeral mass. Incense floating to the vaulted ceiling, with a massive pipe organ and a beautiful soprano in the loft behind us. Not a bad way to go out!

As a real estate agent who appreciates the finer details and the stories behind every structure, my visit to St. Joseph Catholic Cathedral, especially during the Christmas Eve mass, was an experience that left a profound impact on me. Attending the Christmas Eve mass at St. Joseph Catholic Cathedral was a truly enchanting experience. The moment I stepped into the cathedral, I was greeted by its overwhelming architecture. The grandeur of the cathedral is a sight to behold, with its intricate designs and awe-inspiring ambiance. It's a perfect blend of spiritual solemnity and architectural magnificence. The service, led by the Bishop, was nothing short of inspirational. His message resonated deeply, offering a perfect blend of wisdom, spirituality, and relevance to our everyday lives. It was a reminder of the true essence of the holiday season – peace, love, and joy. What particularly stood out for me was the incredible choir. Their voices filled the cathedral, creating a celestial atmosphere that was both uplifting and moving. The harmonious blend of their voices with the cathedral's acoustics was a testament to the power of music in enhancing spiritual experiences. Another highlight of the cathedral is its life-size nativity scene displayed outside. It's a magnificent work of art that vividly brings the Christmas story to life. The detail and craftsmanship of the nativity scene are remarkable, making it a must-see for anyone visiting during the holiday season. In summary, St. Joseph Catholic Cathedral is not just a place of worship; it's a sanctuary that encapsulates beauty, spirituality, and a sense of community. Whether you're there for a regular service or the special Christmas Eve mass, the cathedral offers an experience that is both humbling and uplifting. It's a place where one can find peace and inspiration, amidst the hustle and bustle of everyday life. I would highly recommend a visit to this magnificent cathedral to anyone seeking a spiritual journey or simply to admire its architectural beauty.

Beautiful Roman Catholic Cathedral that serves several counties around the central Ohio area. Attended the Installation of Bishop Robert Brennan - a beautiful, affirming and historic event for our faith that was an honor to be a part of.

Beautiful gothic church / wonderful service and awesome music! I walked from the convention center—but it was a bit of a hike. I’d probably take an Uber in the future from that location.

A reverent Novus Ordo mass with glorious choral music, including lots of plainsong Latin chanting. Every Catholic in the diocese should experience this at least once.

It reminds me so much of the catholic church that my family and I attended back in my home state of Michigan. The beautiful Gothic style!

This is the Catholic Cathedral for the Columbus diocese. It is a beautiful Church and the Bishop says a lovely Mass. If you're in the area, you really should stop by and pray.

Not welcoming at all. Wanted to book for a beautiful wedding next year and was even willing to become a member. Woman in charge was nothing but rude, told me I couldn’t book anything due to neither one of us being catholic. Wasn’t offered any chance to be asked to join or asked to do what was needed to be able to secure this spot. Here I thought churches or any religion were supposed to be warm and welcoming I guess not tho. Will be looking else where.
