Fantastic and well worth the cost. They pick you up from your hotel and bring you to the launch site where they give you pastries and coffee/tea. Then they thoroughly go over some instructions prior to the launch. I'm terrified of heights, but felt perfectly safe the entire time which is probably partly due to the complete professionalism of the Oriental Ballooning team. They also provide some fruit and drinks at the end of the ride as well, which was nice. Awesome, awesome experience and a really fun way to check out Bagan! Thank you Richard and crew!

If you are looking for a hot air balloon ride in Bagan, this is the company to go for. From start till the end,, the service and professionalism has been impeccable. We had an amazing time flying over Bagan's ancient pagodas. The balloon pilots were well trained from the UK, Australia, Canada and Belgium. A before flight coffee, tea, orange juice, yogurt and croissants followed by juice and sparkling wine after landing. The balloon baskets we're the best we've been on. Great experience. Very happy we went.

Amazing experience! Out of this world! Expensive but worth it. We felt very safe the entire time, they pick you up at the hotel at around 5.15am, take you to a field where you can have some pastries, tea, coffee and yogurt for breakfast, they start inflating the balloons, they go through a 5'-10' briefing and you are on your way! The people that were hired to do the prepping were locals, who looked very professional wearing a uniform , they were very friendly and offered to take our picture once we got inside the basket. The pilot was from the UK, he turned the balloon around so we could all get the different views. There were 2 baskets, each divided in half, so there were 2 people per corner, for a total of 8 people plus the pilot in the middle. You take off at the same time and right next to the other company, I preferred this one because the baskets were smaller so less people and the ride was longer, I could see the other balloons landing sooner than us. The ride felt very long, probably 1 hour total. Once you land they give you champagne, a free hat, a big magnet, a certificate and then they drive you back to your hotel. We were back by 8.15am. They drop you off in the reverse order from pickup, which is fair, so if you were picked up first, you get dropped off first.

Had a wonderful experience with Oriental Ballooning. Our pilot, Pep, was very knowledgeable and experienced. We took off for a flight of almost an hour and a half, with good views and close approaches to some big pagodas. Well worth every penny!

Highly professional operation (especially Ravi!) that is putting up a great show for a bit of a steep price point (800 USD for 2 people). But you forget about that after the champagne!

an amazing experience, no doubt you will have the morning of your dreams! Aside from the obvious side, which is an incredible and unique view, the staff is super well trained and prepared. The greeting breakfast was great and popping a champagne was a special way to finish the experience.

Although not inexpensive, certainly worth the money. Perfectly orchestrated - numerous helpers made this a perfectly organized event. From booking, pick up, flight preparation, actual flight and the ceremony after, everything was worked smoothly. Pilot was very friendly. And of course, the views are absolutely stunning!!

Had a fantastic time this morning - an hour long flight with excellent visibility. Nice croissants and coffee to enjoy first thing whilst the balloons are being prepared. The crew are very friendly and overall experience smooth and well worth the money.
