Huge bustling market which is a lot of fun to simply just wander around or pick up souvenirs and really anything else you'd ever want to buy. It can be a bit daunting to find your way around, but it's perfectly safe and there are always lots of other tourists wandering around as well. I bought a couple souvenirs and found prices were totally reasonable without needing to bargain beforehand.

The market is featured as the asian street market with huge variety of food, green grocery and stuffs. The tourist could go for a look and leave with out any complaint. Many kind of tropical fruit for you to choose. That would be nice experience for everyone who would like to exploring Yangon

A must visit when u r in Yangon whether u buy / shop anything or not. British colonial time market with unique lay out. Plenty of ethnic dress materials , jewells , handicrafts, antiques are flooded in this market. I really liked the collection of crafts, show pieces made of wood, bamboo. Awesome, unique stuffs....surely something will be of ur taste. I will go again for sure.

Good place for Jade and gems, almost big shops closed and haven't opened after Covid, but still a lot, when you buy Jade here always ask for certificate, be careful with the guys offer to show their relative shops here, they got money from shop when you buy, just go around a take a look!

The grand bazaar of Yangon. A huge place full of small shops. Great for gifts and souvenirs such as jewelry, jade and other traditional crafts. You can also find there several tailor's shops, one of few places in the city where it's possible to get a bespoke suit.

Very quiet due to few foreign visitors to Myanmar at this time. There are quite a few gemstone and jewelry shops in the market, however, I don’t know how I can identify quality of them exactly. You can drink Myanmar milk tea and see the daily life of vendors in the market like below pictures.

If you like markets/bazaars, the Bogyoke Market is Right up your alley. Lots of vendors, lots of food options, much needed coffee, and nice authentic feel. Not to many people asking for money, vendors willing to haggle, and air conditioned mall across the street. If you want an attentive market/bazaar, check out this spot!’

The colours of Myanmar, the feel of the local market, the experience of getting to know about the local handicrafts are amazing if you spend about an hour walking through this lovely local market. If you get tiered, you will see many local food, fruit vendors, who can give you very tasty local fruits. We tasted mangos and it was just VB out of the world. Yes if you want to buy anything, you must bargain! Whether you buy anything or not, it’s the market you must visit!

Visited in 2022 Almost 70% of shop were closed. And the electricity not working so the atmosphere is dark and quiet in the day time. They still have some shop open so you can walk around or shop something.

It was my first visit to this market since it was shut down due to COVID. I was impressed with the variety of items available in the market in a decent price range. Particularly, artifacts are mind blowing. Very humble sellers and a quiet place for peaceful shopping. I will visit it again and again.

Shopping Malls Shopping malls are the important part of lives of some people in today’s era. An essay on shopping mall all the benefits of a shopping mall. The shopping malls are the places that are packed in weekends. The malls of today’s world are huge and provide all the products that a man desires as a source of entertainment. During weekends people come with the families for shopping and fun in the shopping malls. There are large in size with hundreds of shops. If one enters a shopping mall, he/she can get each and everything from household products to eatables in the same mall. These shopping malls attracts huge youngster crowd towards them. Many people just come for window shopping to the shopping malls. These days the malls have become a good source of entertainment for everyone. There are many branded showrooms in the malls. Shopping malls have made the shopping of people very convenient as they get almost everything from one same roof. These shopping malls are constructed beautifully to attract more and more customers. They have huge infrastructure. Malls are the one place where society can go to relax, socialize, and encounter the culture of today's America. Mainly teenagers go there to hangout with friends and have fun with them. Malls are an easy and convenient addition to society. With the presence of multiple stores in the same location, consumers can buy their material needs and wants without leaving the single overarching structure. This is why I chose the mall as my topic because a mall is a place where you can be yourself leave all your stress and stuff behind and have a fun, relaxing day with your friends and this is why everybody goes there to spend or have some outing.

When I was here it's almost closed. Amazing to see outside and inside the buildings, couldn't get enough. The jewelry, gems, fabrics, handicrafts are good quality. Got some good deals of some accessories, cheaper than in Indonesia. Good adventures in bargaining some stuffs, especially when it's almost close. Will be back soon.

TBH you need to be very wary of touts and spice at the front of the market, but there are a few excellent gem dealers here. I’ve also bought loads of traditional weaves at Bogyoke Aung San. Take your time and check out many dealers. You can get a taxi back to your hotel with help from the great staff outside the mall across the road.

A very busy market connected to Junction City vía a pedestrian footbridge and where individual traders occupy large booths. The ground floor and first floor of the market is dominated by jewellery and textile traders, the latter dealing in both uncut fabrics as well as garments. There are a couple of small access roads or lanes to explore within the grounds of the market, and the overall experience is interesting although you might have to beware bleary-eyed smack heads or boozers who attempt to follow you after accosting you with a pea-brained idiot greeting.

Well, I barely used to go there except from job purpose. And my job place is stable, not mobile. But I had a few acknowledgement of my job place's surrounding. There were cosmetic product sale places, the promotion areas where some particular types of promotions from different branches of brands by Time. So..., yeah.

There is 2 type, the newest and old. I prefer to go to the old market. There are so many thing that you can buy rather than the new one. But i hardly to find fridge magnet and t shirt as souvenir. Lol...but, ruby in Burma is the number one in the world. You should buy the original one here... 😊
