A fair trade shop that tries to make an impact - if you have no time to go and support local communities in their villages, this shop is a good alternative. They have locally made nice things and while some are very beautiful they for sure come at higher price than from Bogyoke Market. Take time to peek in the shop, it's definitely worth it!

Quite nice stuff, very similar to all fair trade shops in Europe. Some beautiful fabrics.

The shop, located three levels of steep stairs up, rewards you when arriving. Pomelo got all the souvenirs and small interior design things you been looking for, made in Myanmar. Almost all things in the shop comes with a story, with background and explanation of the origin and people behind. Prices are at the high end, but presumably fair. Ask the friendly staff if anything, great knowledge and service minded.

WOW WOW WOW!! I had no idea about this shop before I got to Yangon, until a friend told me it was the ONLY place I should visit whilst I was staying. It's just such a treasure trove and I LOVE that it is all made by local artisans and supports local artisans from Myanmar. The girls working there could not have been more helpful or informative and I left with arms bulging full of presents (my fav was the wooden chopping boards, so beautiful). In this day and age it is always best to support Fair Trade but sometimes that can come at a cost to style but not here! Pomelo is full or such gorgeous things. Please can it start shipping worldwide as I need more presents now that my stash has run out!!

Great fair trade shop. Prices are a little more expensive than the markets but more authentic and unique. Walk up stairs to find lots of Knick knacks

Cool place. A fair trade shop. The staff working there are really nice people. I bought a hand painted plate there which is very nice. Also bought a bracelet which is a very nice design. Would definitely recommend if you want to buy some souvenieers which support communities.

I found some lovely eco printed fabric items here, which I thought very reasonably priced. The shop attendant ladies were very kind.
