This is our go-to resort at Myrtle Beach and we stay here at least twice per year. I'm not so sure, however, that we will be back. The so-called "renovated" rooms still leave much to be desired. It's just simple things really. This is the third time we've been in a 3 or 4 bedroom condo that had a couple of doors off the hinges. The doors are BADLY in need of a fresh coat of paint and my bedroom door would not close all the way. It would take no time at all for a maintenance person to make these minor repairs. The laundry cove door was off the hinges and the living room furniture really needs to be replaced. It is all so uncomfortable, especially the couch. Very old and dated. But my biggest complaint was how there was absolutely no enforcement of rules and regulations in the pool area. The kids would not stay in the kids area and overtook what should be the adults only hot tub and lazy river! They have their own! I have uploaded a picture of some 15 or more kids in a hot tub they should have never been in. Until they section off and enforce an Adult Only pool/lazy river/hot tub we will not be back. I understand that this is a family resort but adults should be able to enjoy their vacation as well, especially when we've paid good money for it!

Do not stay here. If you want hot water, or even water for that matter, this is not the place for you. Truly so disappointed. My family and I have been coming here for years. This is the worst stay we’ve ever had. In short, the following problems occurred from the day we got here to now: -No WATER on Sunday. Never received any notification. That is a necessity. -No hot water from Sunday-Wednesday. I was told by a manager that hot water was not necessary, and they did not know when it would be fixed. -One of the toilets in our room did not work. Called for maintenance, and they never came. -When we arrived there is a MASSIVE BROWN STAIN on our bed. The manager said it looked bad, photos were taken, but nothing was done to fix it except pile a bunch of sheets on top of it. So unsanitary. No other mattresses or rooms available according to the manager. -AC not functioning properly. One room is blazing hot, another room is freezing, cannot regulate the temperature. -When we’re paying thousands of dollars to be here to relax, all of these are necessities. -Little to no compensation for all of these major problems. -I have not been able to relax all week. My job is very stressful. We booked this months in advance. I needed a relaxing vacation. None of this has been relaxing. If the general manager sees this, please call us. We were told that we would be contacted by the general manager but still haven’t heard from her. I’m hurt and disappointed.

Location was fine. However when we first arrived we were given a room that had water on the master bedroom’s carpet close to the bathroom so we assumed it came from the tub which is connected to the master closet. We then asked to be switch to a new room since they said maintenance couldn’t come check on it due to other maintenance request. When we went to check out the new room, we found a BED BUG on the bed! We immediately asked for a refund and went to a different resort. The manager was very polite and gave us our refund. However I would not stay here. I highly don’t recommend.

I enjoyed my stay, it is centrally located. Parking across the street but the weather was great so it wasn't a problem, I am just mentioning in case someone has difficulty walking. The staff is friendly and polite. My room was clean, I was unhappy with the furniture which needs an upgrade. I would guess other rooms may have better furniture. The couch was very uncomfortable just to sit on probably worse to sleep on the sofa bed and very old the one chair that was there was falling apart underneath one chair and a small couch for a suite that is for 4-6 people doesn't work well.. But try other rooms as I will on my next visit. It's a very busy place and the walls are thin so if you are looking for a quiet place this is not it. Over all I would recommend staying here.

Caribbean Resort is a good location and resort has a lot of nice amenities like pools, kid activities, and a great breakfast at Sea Captains. Check-in was a little chaotic and rooms had some maintenance issues, but I will say that the staff addressed our concerns quickly. I was also impressed with the process to return some items we left in the room. Everyone I spoke to was polite and helpful and they found my stuff and quickly sent it back. Thank you!

The Resort from the outside is really nice, but the closer you look the more you realize that it’s very outdated and needs some love. We did have a fun time playing at the beach and enjoying the pool deck so here’s my thoughts. I’ll start with the positives: the location is nice, and there are a lot of amenities that are within walking distance from the resort (Starbucks and Ben and Jerry’s right across the street, beer/liquor, dollar general is a short block away), and restraints within walking distance. Things are definitely marked up in price close to the beach, but ahead and save some money. The pool deck is really nice, multiple pools, lazy river, water slides, and easy access to the beach. They have tables and chairs on the pool deck but get there early because they get occupied quickly. They do provide beach towels but cannot be taken out to the beach, even though people still do it. We had a condo on the third floor of the cayman tower. The condo was big and spacious, nice view of the ocean, balcony views were spectacular. They provide you with the bare necessities, basic cookware, silverware, plates, and cups. You will want to bring dishwasher packs, laundry detergent packs, paper towel/napkins, coffee filters (if you want make your own). The beds were really nice and comfortable, and they brought up new sheets/towels daily. The negatives… parking is tough, they have a very small lane to do drop off/pickup. It’s usually jammed full of cars all day so be prepared. They have about 2 luggage carts and they are terrible to maneuver. The main parking is in a garage across the street. The hotel itself smelled bad, the paint was peeling, it’s in desperate need of some updates. Our condo had a microwave that was shorted out and was unplugged when we checked in. After plugging it in it made a bunch to noise and errors on the display. We called the front desk and they said maintenance would come look but they never did. The plumbing in both bathrooms had a dead fish like smell periodically throughout the week. The hot water occasionally had a hard time getting up to temperature and was sometimes just cold. Made taking showers after swimming rough.

The ONLY reasons this receives 2 stars are because it's right on the beach and the pools, and the Sea Captain's restaurant. The room I stayed in needs MAJOR upgrades. For it to be a resort, I felt like I was staying in a MOTEL! When booking make sure you don't stay in Dominican tower. That side feels like a motel to me. I went with my mother in law in 2022 and stayed in the Hilton resort. This was the first time I booked it myself in July 2023. I guess I had HIGH EXPECTATIONS! The two ARE NOTHING ALIKE! In the Hilton, my room with a king size bed was facing the ocean with a private balcony and my husband and I slept with the sliding door open. In the Caribbean Resorts and Villas, my room faced the street and you saw people walking by. The curtains hardly stayed closed, and people kept walking by putting coupons to the different restaurants in your door. It was nice to not have to drive to the beach, and when you check in you get 2 free breakfast for each day you stay. The restaurant's food and service was A1! The breakfast was buffet style with a variety of things. It has 3 different towers. The Dominican, Cayman, and Jamaican. I stayed in the Dominican (don't recommend). I didn't really see the Jamaican tower. The Cayman tower looked to be nicer where the rooms are enclosed. I don't know. I would go back if I can stay in the Cayman and give it one more shot. Hopefully the condition of the room is better.

I hosted my 50th birthday party at this location with a guest of over 60 people. My main festivity on Saturday night was absolutely amazing in their banquet room. No complaints there. The food was catered by the captains restaurant on the property. Everything was perfect. Customer service at the front desk excellent. I have two issues trying to get service in your room. They never show up second of all my guest complained of cockroaches in their rooms. I’m utterly disgusted and disappointed. No one said anything to me during my celebration because they didn’t want to upset me, but now learning all the feedback from this is very disappointing. I think something should be done to accommodate my guest And myself. Between my celebration and the weekend of guest that stayed at this resort we spent over $10,000. Julie The Event coordinator. Julie was amazing. She handled every detail of my event to the tee. I have no complaints about her or the service she rendered but my guess that traveled from all over the world to come celebrate with me, stayed in these deplorable conditions, and something needs to be done about it.

We have been coming to the Caribbean for 25+years-before the Cayman tower was built! We would come with our children - now they come with their children-every year the day after Christmas! It’s a family tradition! Hattie at the front desk is always so personal and goes out of her way to accommodate you! She greets you with a friendly smile and doesn’t get flustered with the holiday rush. For the past two years we have had her at check in she recognized us and helped us with some changes we had to make in our accommodations, going above and beyond to help us get what was needed. She is the best!

Great place, check in was simple. Rooms were very spacious, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was beyond any hotel Breakfast you'll find around. Our waitress was so sweet!!! Putt putt was included in our stay unfortunately closed for the season but it looked fun. You get free DVD rentals in lobby. Pool, lazy river and jacuzzi were all heated nicely. Parking was a block away from the hotel in Parking garage which was pretty inconvenient especially if it was raining and I didn't like having my vehicle that far away. Otherwise highly recommend.

This pains me to write this because I had such a great stay back in 2015. Much has changed. Make sure that you get your reservation details confirmed in writing. I was told that my family of 7 would have our breakfast covered by vouchers for the Sea Captains House during our stay. When I got there, the staff said that it wasn't on my reservation when I even saw it and pointed it out. I also was told many times over the phone that it was there. When asked if anything could be changed, they denied. Our sheets were stained when we arrived. At least in the master bedroom. I called to have new sheets put on and was told that is considered full service and would be 24 hours before that could be done!! A couple of the pools were closed. Overall, the room was ok. Great location and ease of access to the beach.

This hotel was not the best and was not the worst. Our room was pretty outdated. It seemed like they were working on updating it but did not complete the job. Every staff member we encountered was SUPER nice. Like overly nice. Check in was a little rough because we had been up all night traveling and our room was not ready at 4:00 pm. Our smoke detector battery died and they quickly came to replace it. Other than that it is a great place with a great location.

I stayed in the Chelsea Villa it was nice, and spacious. The tub was dirty but other than that everything else was pretty clean. Christian at the front desk was AMAZING and I appreciate them for accommodating my family under such short notice. The pool area needs updating it looked filthy, and there were things floating around. Some panels were missing from the ceiling so ppl were throwing eaten food down from there balconies hitting us with it. The panels that were there looked disgusting and molded. Definitely needs some upgrading to the pool area. Glad my room was comfortable.

Golf trip at the beginning of November, within a half hour of many courses, so a great location, at least for us. Small buffet breakfast at restaurant beside hotel, wasn't as good as before the pandemic, but still good. The rooms in the hotel are getting dated, minor maintenance could be done, i.e. no door on washing machine/dryer closet, broken fridge shelve, fridge ice machine not working (however ice machine in the hallway)......each bedroom has its own full washroom. Great time to go as it is off-season, basically had the hotel to ourselves.

Wasn't impressed with the old carpet smell but overall it was great. My son loved the pull out bed from the wall. My wife and I enjoyed it. The ocean view was excellent. My son also enjoyed the indoor and outdoor pools. Heating and air worked perfect. We will be staying again 💯❤️

I was worried after seeing all the reviews but I cannot say enough of how nice this place is. We got a ocean front suite. It was clean, spacious and the view is amazing. Anytime we needed anything, housekeeping would get it for us. Easy access to pool, slides, kids area and beach. Anytime we go out to beach or pool we were provided with clean beach towels. Parking is across the street in parking garage and everything is close by. The family had a blast!

This is a decent place. Did a golf weekend here and it definitely fit the bill. Rooms were relatively clean but lots of broken things (lights out, refrigerator didn't cool great) and we called the desk a couple times (no answer) and tried the virtual assistant (no response). Nothing that was a deal breaker. We had breakfast included with our package and it was fantastic. Check in was easy and fast and parking is close (just across the street).

I was very impressed with my stay here. We stayed in the Dominican building ocean front suite and the rooms were exactly as pictured for our room type. Not only that they were extremely clean. It passed the black light UV test exceptionally. We arrived 4 hours early and were able to check in and get our room right away. The amenities were great too! The pools are cleaned daily and they respond right away via text for any help or concerns you have with your room. More towels, maintenance, etc. I want to give a shout out to Ebony for being very helpful with adding another night to our stay. I will definitely be back.

Excellent hotel with plenty of amenities! Pools and hot tubs galore! Very clean and spacious room with convenient kitchenette. Loved my stay in the quiet little Jamaican resort! It was just steps away from the beach! The restaurant and bars on site were top notch too! Check in was long and required some serious patience, but the staff was friendly and clearly doing their best. Could use a fresh coat of paint on interior walls and a few places to plug in USB cords, but other than that it was a perfect stay! I felt super safe as a solo female traveler! I would definitely recommend as a nice budget friendly ocean front hotel!

Love this place, especially the Jamaican tower. One could assume it’s one of the smaller older motels renovated? My wife and I loved that! Bed was comfy, pillows were puffy and we had a great view. Seemed to get judged a bit when checking in but that isn’t a reflection of all of the staff I’m sure!

Room was excellent. Customer service was excellent. The only complaint I have that I want to let people be aware of is concerning housekeeping. Housekeepers do not knock before entering room. We were just there Thanksgiving week/weekend and the day after Thanksgiving is when it started. The housekeepers opens your door without knocking to bring towels. It was never the same person. One time my daughter was barely clothed when a random man opened the door. We were not happy and ended up cursing him out. This happened until we left and we cursed everyone that did that. This must be a thing here. Other than that we were pleased. Management accommodated very well with checking in early.

I am changing my review because we inquired about the continuing issues with the odor of marijuana. We decided we would cut our trip short however after my husband spoke with management they graciously offered to move us to a beautiful room in a different tower! We are extremely grateful and very appreciative as we have so loved staying here for many years!

Overall it was a nice time we got two 3 bedroom suites and they were nice. We came in a large group so the rooms were perfect. The pool area was nice a little bit to much chlorine in the one hot tub. My only real issue was people throwing stuff from higher up floors when we were in the hot tub! It's so ridiculous that they can't act civil!! What if it was you and your family sitting there !! Can't wait to come back for a week next time.

Excellent location! This is our second time staying here with our stays being 4 years apart. Big Difference! This time we could tell that Covid19 really took a toll on the place. No more room service for one. The worst part though was how completely run down the place is now. So many things either non-functional or broken in our suite, too many to list but if you go I suggest you do a thorough inspection and make a list with photos so you don't get charged for damage. Another bad surprise was the first night I got up in the middle of the night and walked into the kitchen and turned the light on and watched in horror as hundreds of cockroaches skittered and crawled into their dark hiding spots inside the cupboards and under the stove! I know what palmetto bugs are and these were straight up roaches and not the good kind either. The following morning I pulled the oven out and found one reason for the roaches, the floor was covered with old food, sticky drinks and even what looked like vomit. Roach paradise! During our stay I received a call from the front desk around 10am telling me that I still owed a balance. Later that day I went to the front desk and there was only one clerk that looked like she was busy talking to her friend so I stood patiently in line thinking she was helping another guest. When she noticed me she gave me the meanest look I've ever seen and yelled at me "DO YOU NEED SOMETHING!!" I told her why i was there and she was so rude to me that i decided right then that if they employ someone like that, then I see why it is so run down, every single aspect of that place was a horrible experience and we will never even get near it again. If you are going then you'll want to steer clear of the rude and angry desk clerk whose name is Hattie. But you will know who I'm talking about as soon as you see her or, God forbid, have to rely on her for anything at all. There are so many other bad things I could describe about our experience but I don't want to completely steer you away from the place because this was "our" experience and yours may be totally different. I'll pray that it is because we once enjoyed the place immensely.

The place was wonderful. Location is great. Hattie at the front desk was absolutely fabulous! Plenty of easy parking across the street (I have no idea why other reviewers complained about this). Plenty of space in the rooms… nice layout. The only stars taken off are that updates are needed. The curtains were old with stains, the shower head dripped a little and our sliding door didn’t lock (but we were on the 14th floor so it didn’t matter that much.). But all of this is fine seeing the value of what they charge. Those that complain and post bad pics might need to open their wallet wider for what they’re looking for. Overall we loved it, it and would stay again.

Very much in need of a full remodel. The Jamaican Bldg might be described as “newly remodeled” but do not be fooled. Very old building. The room’s entry door had rotting wood with holes where locks have been moved to a more secure location in the wood, rather than replacing wood. The dead bolt couldn’t even grab. Did not feel safe.

Overall the place was spacious and nice but could use some updating and deep cleaning. I loved the location and the ocean view was so beautiful. The pools were great and easy beach access. There was plenty of staff available but were not very communicative. They closed down the waterslide early without explanation and when we asked why, we were told "I don't know". We saw a roach in the kitchen and the refrigerator was leaking. A large brownish-black substance came out of the ice machine which suggests there was buildup that had not been cleaned for quite some time. There were door knobs missing on the closets in the bedroom, so we had to use the top of the door to slide them open. The fitness center and game room had strong smells of mildew and could use some better ventilation. There was no extra linen available for the pull out mattress, so I had to get some from the front desk. When I got back to the 21st floor, I realized that I was not given a full set of linen, but rather a flat sheet and a mattress cover. I opted to use the pillows and blankets I'd brought from home. It was a quick weekend trip for us, and I didn't want to deal with the hassle of complaining or trying to address these issues, so I just opted to deal with it and not utilize certain things, such as the fitness center and ice machine. However, I hope this place puts a little more effort into cleanliness and service, as it really does have some great potential.

This was our first stay here. Overall, we were happy with our experience. The location is top-notch, being on the beach. The property itself was excellent, with lots of pools, lazy rivers, etc. The building is a little older. It has a lovely, well-established seafood restaurant next door, Sea Captain's House. We had an oceanfront room. It was very spacious. I am not a big fan of the green color of the rooms, but they color-coordinated everything well. There are two AC units, and the rooms are comfortable. The condition of the room was so-so. It could use just a little TLC. The staff were friendly. Their parking garage is across the street from the rooms. The off-season prices are very reasonable; We will certainly stay here again.

We had a great experience with this resort. Easy check in process and out. We stayed at the Chelsea villas. Room was very clean and looked to be newly renovated. Beds were very comfortable as well. Serving staff and bartenders were awesome as well. No complaints at all with the grounds. Kids enjoyed all the pools. We will definitely be back!

Not worth the money. Day one we arrived early to ensure an on time check in at 1:30 our check in time was 4 we didn’t get a key until almost 6. We had to wait over 8 hours after calling and calling and going to front for new bedding after our kids had gotten sick. The pool is so overcrowded from people that aren’t even staying at the hotel as no one is checking wristbands. The mirror was falling the wall. Chairs looked like someone chewed on them , rust in the shower. Not worth the thousands we payed .

I was in North Myrtle Beach for the day and decided to try a night at The Caribbean Resort instead of driving the 100 miles home. The room was clean and comfortable. The view outstanding. The rate was reasonable. I opted for the breakfast package but chose to hangout on the balcony before checking out instead. I left feeling nice and relaxed. I would highly recommend staying here. I chose this resort because it has a bar, restaurant, ice cream, and breakfast if I was in the mood. Plus the price was right.

Sooooo, where do I begin? The staff was amazing friendly except for the grumpy older woman bartender at the outdoor ship shaped bar. She was snapping at the other staff members unnecessarily. I will chalk that up to her having a bad day. The rest of the staff during our four day stay certainly make up for “Miss Cranky Pants”. The Sea Captains House was AMAZING!!!Fabulous food, service and ambiance. Five stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Now to the Room. Ugh. The Jamaican Tower Ocean Front. We stayed in room 409. The balcony was literally deteriorating. The room was at best a roadside cheap motel accommodation. However because we were there for the Carolina Country Music Festival, it was very pricey. Very deceiving representation on their website. This is a “lipstick on the pig” renovation. The place has potential to be a great family friendly resort but attention to cleaning and maintenance needs to be seriously addressed.

My family and I typically visit Myrtle Beach every summer. This was our worst experience. First we were given a room that was already occupied, when I informed the front desk I was told to come to the lobby and it would be fixed. Mind you I had already brought all of our luggage up to the 15th floor and had to bring it back down. Once I got there, the so called manager was extremely rude and acted as if it was no big deal that we were given an already occupied room. I was told that the check in clerks don't know what rooms are empty/occupied which if they don't know how do they put guests in a room? Our room was absolutely disgusting, tears and stains on all the furniture, cuts in the lamp shades, the coffee table was tore up and so were the dressers, there was NO toilet paper holder (toilet paper just sitting on the back of the tank), the carpet was slightly damp throughout the unit. I would never recommend anyone to stay here. The pools are over crowded, your lucky to get in an elevator in under 5 mins. Check-in and check-out are absolutely a horror to go through.

We got the 3 bedroom condo on the 21st floor. It was decent and roomy and didn't have any real issues. Oceanfront view was amazing. Staff was really friendly. Yes the rooms are old and need some TLC but its not that bad. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because the whole time we were there we could barely stay on the balcony or leave the door open because of the constant marijuana smell and after reading the reviews, this seems to be a long standing problem that they should be on top of and clearly aren't but I would go back for sure.

Got forced to stay here with a volleyball "stay to play" requirement. The staff was nice, but you can't make up for the dated, smelly, noisy, dirty rooms. It's at the northern end of the strip too, so if you want to walk..... it's a little too far out. Dirty floors. Sticky surfaces. Bugs crawling. Pool areas look great in pictures but fail to deliver. Just avoid if you can!

Cons: 1st thing, the toilet clogged and ran over. Took hours to get someone to come fix it. The comforter had stains all over it so the owner went and bought a new one within 30 minutes. That was awesome! Saw a roach on the kitchen table. Most of the remotes didn't have batteries. Pros: It's a beautiful place. Easy to access the beach. Beautiful view. Pretty rooms.

This hotel is great for kids! It’s right on the beach, and the view from the room is gorgeous. There is slot of amenities. There is a Starbucks very close to the hotel. It’s close to broadway at the beach. It started off a little rough. They assigned us a room with someone already in it. And then, they were out of towels for about 1-2 hours. Overall the room was very nice and the pool was nice.

We had a fantastic time! We stayed in the Jamaican and had an ocean view. It was cold when we were there so the pool area wasn't open. However, the sunrise was beautiful and walks on the beach were nice. We were there for our son's college baseball preseason games, so we spent a lot of time outside the hotel. We do love the area.

We have been coming here since 1981 and the condition of the unit we had this year was the worst. The bed was noticeably lumpy and needed to be changed out. The sofa was no better. If seemed as though you'd sink to the floor the cushions were so deflated. We stacked them in order to not feel like we were sitting on the floor. The chair was suitably firm but the cushion was stained. There was no table for drinks on the balcony. There were only 3-4 hangers for clothing and the safe wouldn't lock. Our 3 night stay was approx. $650 plus taxes/resort fees. I feel like that should have been the price for a week in that room. We only used the refrigerator and it seemed to work fine. No i didn't complain while there until I received the after stay survey, so maybe we could have been moved to a unit with a better bed if we had.

Very nice place. I traveled with 7 other guys for a 4 day golf outing. The hotel golf planner did a great job scheduling our outing, We had 2 four bedroom condos which were great, very clean and roomy, pool and hot tub was nice. Our only complaint was, breakfast at Sea captains house should start at 0600/0630 instead of 0700, we missed two breakfasts do to the drive for to make 0815 tee times, Sea captains breakfast and service was very good the 2 times we made it. Definitely recommend this resort 👍

The views are BEAUTIFUL! multiple pools, lounge areas, clean. The staff was friendly and helpful . This hotel has different buildings so I can only speak about where we stayed - Dominican Tower...it wasn't horrible, but the plumbing was noisy, various cosmetic issues (visible patchwork on walls, broken closet door etc). HOWEVER!!!, It was BIG, and the room was clean!! I have a habit of going over everything with disinfecting wipes when I check into a room and there was not even dirt/grime on the headboards! Even The balcony furniture left my cloth white, which impressed me. I will return again to see if maybe rooms in the main tower are more up to date. Overall great location, good stay.

We had a great stay at the Caribbean resort, we stayed in a 2 bedroom villa across the road in the Chelsea House. Our villa was large, clean and spacious. We did have some issues with our unit, washing machine didn't run properly, front door lock needed some repairs and some of the basic cookware was missing. We reported this and they responded quickly and efficiently to rectify these issues. I would definitely stay in these units again, and having a semi-private pool area that is pretty quiet is a real plus!

We rented a three bedroom two bath on the top floor for my family of five. Our room was on the corner, had a great view, and had been recently remodeled. We really liked the location as well, just minutes away from the boardwalk, and right on the beach. Parking was only an issue when we wanted to unload/load the car at the front of the hotel. However there were always plenty of spaces in the parking garage directly across the street. When you check in, you get a card keys for your room, wrist bands for everyone to wear for the pool and additional cards for pool towels. It was a minor inconvenience making sure that everyone kept up with all of their accessories each time we left the room. I have stayed at other hotels where everyone was given just the wrist band, and it gave you access to the pool and your room. I understand that the pool towel issue can be tricky, because everyone likes to bring towels up to their rooms (guilty), but I think that wrist band to get into your room would be a nice upgrade.

I cannot state strongly enough how utterly disappointed I was with our stay at the Caribbean Resort. We have stayed at the Caribbean many times over the last 15+ years, being prior owners of a 1-bedroom unit. I cannot believe how badly the condition of the units, the facilities and services have gone down since we sold the unit several years ago. From the start, the room (C903 – 4 bedroom) was not ready until after 5:15 pm (and was told by the person cleaning it that he did not even get started until 3:30 pm when it is a 4 pm check in!). Fortunately, the cleaning person was very kind to let us in, so that we could start setting up the baby bed for our infant grandchild while he continued to clean. Even when the cleaning person was done and left, the kitchen floor was sticky, the microwave was filthy, and I found 3 of the prior renter’s coats in a closet…so much for cleaning the room. We asked for someone to come back to clean the microwave, and after waiting several hours, cleaned it ourselves. No one ever showed up to do it. Although we were given towels on the first day, no one showed up on the next day to take our trash or give us clean towels. So, we set the trash outside the room each day and got towels from the cart in the hallway when needed…until the 3rd day when the cleaning people finally showed up to take the old towels/trash and give us now ones each morning. As for the room, the cushions on the couch & both chairs were completely worthless, and the fabric on the arms of the chairs was worn out. One chair felt like you were falling to the floor when you sat in it. The refrigerator simply needs to be replaced. It was completely missing 1 shelf and the bottom shelf was cracked and held together with duct tape. Also, 1 of the shelves on the door was missing. I couldn’t believe that the couch/chairs were the exact same style/color as the ones in the unit we bought in 2009! These should have been replaced years ago!!!! As for the facilities, the enclosed pool area had missing windows/sections allowing the cold air in…making getting out of the pool /hot tub rather shocking. The whole pool area was much colder than it should have been as a result as well. As for the hot tubs, there was nothing hot about the water and was so disappointing, we only used them 1 time. After years of owning/staying at the Caribbean Resort, this will be our last trip. Until management/owners put in the needed upgrades/repairs, I would not recommend this facility to anyone.

I came with my spouse and child and we had an excellent time! Check in was smooth and Ms. Hattie took great care of us! The hotel has a great selection of indoor pools/hot tubs for when it's raining or your skin just can't take anymore sun and outdoor pools and slide and splash area. Breakfast at the Sea captains house was fantastic and the view is beautiful! Our room was clean and spacious and our beds were very comfortable. We had a great time and this will be our go to spot for future vacations!
