There's a reason this place wins the best hamburger award.

The kids were asking for a burger on our trip through the redwoods. What a find! This is not one of those places where they try and compensate for a lack of flavor by giving you a huge mountain of a burger and hope you don't notice the flavor got left out. The burgers are a perfect size, packed with flavorful ingredients. My wife and I shared a side salad, and she commented that even their tomatoes were very flavorful. On the way out the door, I saw that they locally source most of their ingredients, including their beef and tomatoes. I can see why they've won best burger in town for over 30 years. Our kids definitely left satisfied.

Very tasty hamburgers in this small burger joint. We treated ourselves with a root beer float (YUM) had fish and chips with a good old fashioned bacon cheese burger. The shop is right off the street so many people park across the street and run in to get lunch or dinner to go. There are a few tables inside, friendly staff and lots of food choices. After our initial meal, later in the week we went back for take out for dinner. This will be a regular place for us from now on. Thanks Stars.

I used to come here all the time when I was pregnant for their ice cream, it's a must have! Last time I went I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich and it was good, had decent flavor but not much spice at all tho... I would love to see it become more spicy 😋

I stopped by this very popular hamburger place for lunch after visiting the Clarke Museum. It was busy and I had to wait a few minutes to place my order at the counter. The menu has milkshakes, salads, hot sandwiches, and local grass fed hamburgers. I ordered the grilled chicken pita sandwich with no cheese, french fries, and iced tea to go. The dining room is small with interesting artwork on the walls, and a black and white checkerboard floor. It took about twenty minutes for my order and I drove to Su Meg State Park at Patrick's Point to eat it. The chicken had good taste to it and was not over cooked. Located on Harrison Avenue across from General Hospital in Eureka. A nice place to stop for lunch in a classic burger place with friendly service, a menu with a number of options, and fun theme to it.

I Have been Going to Stars Hamburgers for many years. By Far the Best Burger's ,Shakes Fry's in Town. Excellent Service. Friendly Staff . Fresh Burger's also. Great Sauce. They make them anyway you like them. Ray knows his Business. They can take care of a FootBall Team or just you.. I am a fan of the DBL Burger with Pepper Jack Cheese and Ortega Chile. They make it the best. I work all over eat out a lot.I find it just to be a fantastic burger. Always consistent.. I highly recommend STARS !!

Looks like typical burger place on outside but they are doing something fantastic on every level on the inside. The garlic fries was different style than I like but it doesn't stop me for giving 5☆

A very basic restaurant with very good burgers. There is an incredible selection of ways to have your burger. The food comes out quickly. The only negative is the limited seating and basic nature of the place but the quality of the food makes up for it.

Im bias...this shop is right around the corner from my shop. I think they have a GOLD salad menu. I know...I know...its a burger joint. And yes! They are fabulous. Grassfed beef, loose leaf lettuce, real cheese...delicious. But the Grilled Chicken salad is my favorite! Under 10 bucks which is a steal nowadays is fresh, yummy, and a full meal. Support a great small business..The staff is awesome and the food is great. If you wanna fun date...grab a burger basket and head to Sequoia Park. Stars Eureka is a Humboldt must.

The burger was delicious. Loved the taste, freshness, and the meat doesn't feel heavy in my stomach. The fries were ok. Expectations are a mother ** and I thought hey, garlic French fries mmm, fresh garlic. Nope. Just garlic salt. And the fries quality. Also ok. Fries matter too!! 🤓 Great service. Thank you.

Like there burgers. But they have gotten smaller in pattie size. A while back there patties were nice and plump u know burger in every bun bite. I've been there a few times hospitals close easy to get a quick bite. Would really like to see them beef up them burgers a little.

I had very high expectations for this burger joint as it is so loved by the local community. i ordered the garlic fries and a jalapeño and swiss cheese burger. the fries weren't crispy enough for me ans the garlic wasn't a fresh rub it was just dried garlic powder on the fries which wasn't what i expected. i give the fries a 3/5. the burger was juicy and fresh but didn't surprise me.

Loved the food here!!! We're from Oklahoma where there is many small cafes like this and this one is high on the list of the greatest. Burgers were great and the chocolate peanut butter shake was the bomb! Prices were great like back home!

Best veggie burger I’ve ever had. Staff were very friendly and kind, service was extremely fast. They say everything is cooked fresh to order and they mean it! Fries and chocolate malt were delicious too. Great atmosphere, can’t recommend them enough.

We usually go to the Arcata location. Thank goodness this one was open on Black Friday! Great customer service and lovely atmosphere to dine in. The food was very delicious. So glad we had the chance to try this spot.

The burgers here are so good, definitely in my top two favorites in Humboldt. The employees are usually pretty friendly too so that’s a plus. The only thing that needs a MAJOR change is their fountain drink size, their cups are so small! It’s like a kids cup lol. They literally just need one more larger size, nothing crazy; that would elevate their service undoubtedly. I hope they can make this change soon!

Swung by on our way home to the valley, food was good, customer service was great. I had a burger and my wife had a salad, we were both pleased with our meals. Would make it a regular stop any time we pass through the area.

I don't want to just say negative things on a review so the employees were sweet as pie and helpful. Unfortunately I did not like the food. my chocolate milkshake was absolutely horrible! The fries are weird tasting and so is the texture, the ranch is not good at all and the cheese burger just had a weird taste, the mustard was over powering.

We enjoyed our hamburger dinner at Stars. I had the regular burger and my wife had an Ortega burger. They were good. I had fries with my burger, I ordered the large fries, there were plenty. My wife had onion rings and a vanilla milkshake with her burger. Plenty of onion rings and a big shake. The service was good, the place is very clean.
