Great location, perfect for visiting Nuremberg. Of note, the hotel closes at 8pm, where no receptionist will be available to assist. Additionally, there is no phone in the room to contact the reception for any service required which is inconvenient. The room size was okay, comfy for two, however the wifi signal was very weak/slow, where simply navigating without streaming was difficult. The staff that were present during the day were very kind. Will not stay at this hotel again.

I stayed with my family for one week in July 2019 in two apartments (executive and superior). The location of Melter is at the edge of the old town with many restaurants, shopping venues and other tourist attractions. Reception staff are very helpful and friendly. And If you have a car you can park it at Katherinenhof park for a discounted price (tickets are provided by receptionist). The apartments are spacious, elegantly designed and have large windows or French balconies. Bathrooms are also spacious and have heated floors. The kitchenette is stocked with the essentials. I liked the plants inside the rooms. However, one problem that we encountered repeatedly was poor housekeeping. We had to complain twice during our stay because floors were not vacuumed or towels were not replaced. Overall, excellent hotel and highly recommended

Location is nice, in the city center. Clean and cosy rooms with nice views of the center. Breakfast menu may not be very rich, but food is delicious. Free laundary/drying/ironing facility available 24/7. Super friendly and kind staff. A paid public parking building is within 300m walking distance.

Only halfway through our stay but we are absolutely loving it here! Pre-arrival, the hotel already communicates all important information like the closest parking garage (since they are located in the old town/pedestrian only zone) etc. The staff were super welcoming and helpful with our questions and reservation requests during our stay: special thanks to Fabiana and the guy with great hair! The room is massive and perfect for our family of 3. They are a few minutes walk from the church and everything interesting. The gym is small but perfectly functional (especially the pull up bar!)

Good service, but poor house keeping The room certainly had a luxurious feel. It was well stocked with cooking supplies, a microwave, Nespresso coffee machine and even a milk frother. The receptionists were always very friendly and professional. We took our five month old puppy for which the hotel charges a steep €35 per night. Even though we got a discount it was still not worth for what we received. For instance, we needed to ask the house keeping staff to clean the floors and change the bedding after we noticed they had not done it after 3 days. This was really disappointing as we presumed the extra charge was for extra cleaning. To make matters worse, we received push back from the maid and she also kept insisting that she cleaned the room thoroughly every day. We were also informed that the extra charge was for our end of stay deep clean. However one would think that the end of stay deep clean cost was a standard amount for all dogs as it wouldn't matter if a dog stayed for 2 nights vs. 10 nights.

Excellent service, the rooms were really nice, and the people in the reception are one of the best that I've met travelling the world!

This hotel is perfect for a short or long stay in Nuremburg. It is just a 20 minute taxi ride from the airport, and you are right in the old town. The rooms are spotless, as is the whole hotel. You are minutes away from restaurants and 10 - 15 minute strolls to great landmarks. I wouldn't hesitate to return here.

Great hotel in a very good location. We were upgraded for free by the Hotel without having to ask. The room we had was clean and spacious. Quality in room amenities including a kitchen and dishwasher. There is laundry facilities in the hotel (although we didn't use them) and a large gym. You are right in the heart of the old town which is car free. The hotel has an arrangement with a nearby multilevel carpark which had plenty of room. Plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. Would stay here again if I was back in Nuremberg.

Well located in old city off of one of the main squares but perfectly quiet inside room, which was exceptionally large, immaculate, with kitchenette, pleasant and comfortable. Staff members were all exceptionally friendly and helpful. Great place to come to after a long international flight and then stay several nights while enjoying Nuremberg.

We stayed in Nuremberg for two nights and could not be happier with our choice in Melter. It is located in the heart of Nuremberg and within walking distance of many of the key sights. The rooms are spacious, clean and modern. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Looking forward to hopefully coming back one day!

Really nice rooms at a convenient location. Located right at the start of walking district just 50m away from subway station. You can park temporarily in front of the hotel to unload luggages but parking garage is 300m away and costs 10€ a day.

Beautiful room, great service, and excellent location to tourist sites and the many train/metro stations. We were also given a surprise (and welcoming) upgrade upon arriving to the hotel. Bonus: there's an on-site laundry room!

Lovely, lovely hotel with sweet little touches (like heated flooring in the loo) to make for a comfortable stay. The room is well designed and abundantly spacious. Wish we were here for more than one night.

Flawless experience at Melter. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful and the location itself is absolutely perfect. Essentially 10 min walk or less to just about everything. The room itself was perfect as it was spacious, well appointed and quiet. Excellent experience overall and would definitely stay with Melter again.

Stayed one night. Superb location. Within walking distance to most "must see" places in Old Nuremberg. Restaurant has gluten free options in the morning. Loved our stay! From Canada.

Our family had the most amazing stay! It’s very convenient. Brand new hotel with modern design! The washing machine was such a plus! We had such a great time walking around the area, so glad we had chosen to stay with Melter! The staff was very helpful!

I am a travel agent and have stayed in hundreds of hotels around the world. This hotel may look fine, but the service is horrific. Marina at the front desk screamed at me and said “I’m tired of rude people like you” - when I said I was uncomfortable and wanted to cancel, she refused.

This hotel is excellent! Stylish, spacious, modern rooms with all the amenities: coffee machine, fully equiped kitchenette, lots of space, and a very comfortable bed! There is no parking on site but the hotel will give you a discounted ticket for a secure parking garage nearby, so that was no problem. The hotel is right in the centre of town so you are close to everything. The staff at the front desk were also lovely. Highly recommended!

An excellent option to stay in Nuremberg City center. It is an old building fully renovated! +The inside decoration is modern minimal very clever decorated. +Rooms are property cleaned and the staff is very friendly. -Breakfast is served in the nearby Cafe which is moderate. -Gym closes at 21:30 :(

A perfect blend of boutique hotels and family hotels. The designer furniture sets the tone of the room. All of them are minimalist with a hint of luxury with matt black or brass finishing on most exposed metal parts. Provides baby cribs with no extra charge. This has been the only designer hotel I have seen that provides it. The small kitchen in their suite was the real charm. I cooked 2 big English breakfasts and a simple dinner with it. It's a nice break from all the German food we had been having and just the best way to start a day or enjoy a relaxing evening, especially people travelling with kids like us. The hotel is also perfectly located right in the old town of Nuremberg. All sightseeing spots in the old town and the central bus and train stations were all within walking distance. We thought this was one of the best hotels we have stayed in.

We loved our stay at the Melter Hotel and Apartments! The space was beautiful and the room had everything we needed and more. The bed was also wonderfully comfortable. I really enjoyed how this modern hotel is hidden away in Nuremberg’s historic old town - a great surprise. Also, the staff was so welcoming and friendly. We just can’t say enough nice things :-)

By far one of the best hotels I have stayed in. We had a very comfortable, spacious and quiet room with a kitchen. Great location in the old town very close to the train station. Excellent choice for both long and short stays.

It remains in our minds as one of the loveliest places we have had the pleasure to stay at. This place is pristine! Can’t wait to visit again.
