Watched many Korean dramas and was always intrigued as to what Korean food was all about! Hae Kum Gang provides authentic flavours for enthusiasts like me! So if you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to taste Korean food check this place out! Other than all the food we ate here, a special mention to the mango drink which is definitely a must try!

We visited this place during lunch hours. Place becomes very crowded during peak hours. Very neatly maintained place with lively ambience. I liked every dish I tried but felt like chicken in main dish is not so fresh. They give you Banchan in the beginning and I liked potatoes in sweet soy sauce. Every dish has generous portion so you have to keep this in mind before ordering. Rice here has a very good addictive taste and goes well with all the main dishes. Chicken Cutlet, Shrimp fritters and dragon shrimp roll are must try. I felt Mocktails were too sweet and the syrup they use overpowers the drink. Staff here are very friendly and helpful. They accept card and UPI payment methods. I recommend this place to people who want to try korean cuisine.

Can give a try if you're a fan of Korean foods and you really wanna try Kimbap - crab kimbap was good. Like the amount of sides they served with it (really the kimchi was good )also, the ginger mustard paste the serve along would be very different

We ordered ramyun, tofu rolls, tteokbokki, lemon ice tea, and two other mocktails (all vegetarian). I loved ramyun. Tofu rolls were spicy and tteokbokki was okaish. The service was slow and ambience was okay. The food was good.

I recently had a delightful dining experience at Hae Kum Gang Korean restaurant in Bangalore. The shrimp fritters were a perfect start – crispy and flavorful. The Kimbap tuna and dumplings showcased the chef's expertise in balancing textures and tastes. The Japchae was a standout, with its harmonious blend of sweet and savory flavors. The Kimchi fried rice had a comforting warmth, and the Hemul Chulpan was a delightful seafood medley. The Sam Ge Thang brought a comforting and rich broth, while the Kimchi Jeon added a perfect kick to the meal. The ambiance was welcoming, and the staff's attentiveness enhanced the overall experience. Hae Kum Gang is now my go-to place for authentic Korean cuisine in Bangalore. Highly recommended for food enthusiasts seeking a culinary journey through Korea's diverse flavors!

Hae Kum Gang in Ashok Nagar is a quaint, cozy little place, perfect for a quick Korean sojourn. Both the ambience as well as the menu have an old Korean charm. It sits pretty in aesthetics, service and quality of food. Since we’ve frequented this place many times, the dishes that we can absolutely vouch for on any given day are - Bbq in stone hot pot - with chicken, beef or pork, all taste great Dolshot bibimbap with beef or chicken Chicken and Tuna Kimbap
Chicken Cutlet Shrimp fritters Dragon Shrimp roll are must try. Kimchi Fried Rice Chicken Salmon Roll An added feature is the delicious side dishes of Kimchi, Pickled Vegetables, Pickled Bean Sprouts, etc. that are complimentary, and the staff is also always very generous to refill it when asked. All in all, a recommended spot for your Korean cravings with a lot of repeat value.

Tried the following: Dolsot Bimbim Bap (beef) Shrimp Fritters (seafood) Pork Chulpan Lemon Ice Tea While the Dolsot Bimpin Bap as a main course and the Shrimp Fritters as a starter were good, they were not so great as to make me want to go back for them again. The pork chulpan missed the mark for me. The lemon ice tea was refreshing and not overtly sugary, which I personally liked. Overall, it was nice, but the place didn't wow me enough to make me want to go back again.

Order: Steam Mandu (chicken momo), Kimchi fried rice, Jajang Myun(Korean Noodles), Wine Coctail. Steam Mandu- dry filling, thick flour layer. Kimchi fied rice- worth going for, again. Jajang Myun- under seasoned, under flavoured but noodle seemed to be fresh house made with good springiness. Wine- was fine. Sides(complementary)- Kimchi was not good at all, soy-glazed potatoes was the start, and rest not worth mentioning. Not value for money. Had better korean food. Though I might visit once more to try out other dishes.

👍 Heard a lot about this place and read that this is one of the best places for dosa in Bengaluru. So travelled nearabout 15 KMs and visited this place few months back and yes this place really does justice to its popularity. I liked the masala dosa a lot.
