Unfinished palace of the late Farid Serhal, who was a deputy of the region. The palace was under construction in the late 60s and in the 70s when work was interrupted by the civil war. The palace remained unattended since then. Currently, one guide conducts tours and explains the construction history and Dr. Serhal's vision in combining the architectures of different civilizations. Great place to take photos and do photoshoots. The site might seem familiar as it was used for the shooting of several video clips and series in the past years. Highly recommended!

There are no tour guides onsite. I recommend reading about it before going in. You’d appreciate the place more.

A distinguished palace for a successful and educated man who traveled to different countries and gathered different cultures and ideas and tried to apply them throughout his palace.

It's the second time we go to see the museum and we find it closed when it should be open for public. If they don't want people to go inside just remove it from the map.

The unachieved dream of Farid Serhal: An ancient building in the region of Jezzine that the late Dr. put together in stone to showcase the different cultures of the world.
