As a bald headed man my experience with and in barber shops is very limited. However it was proposed to me to visit Milford’s Barber Shop for a Hot Towel Treatment and Shave. And I am so happy I took the advice. First of all, the friendliness of the staff and the customers is so nice. Met Mr. Milford while there and was able to talk with him. A positive ambiance with a great many mementoes covering the wall space. But most importantly is the caring and professional services provided; even for a guy who doesn’t need a haircut. Melissa is proficient with a straight razor and the shave along with the hot towel treatment just about had me falling to sleep in the chair. After my newly enjoyed barber shop experience today I will quote Gen. Douglas MacArthur by stating “I shall return” to the Milford’s Barber Shop in the near future.

1st time I have been to Milford's in 16 years. I'm disappointed that I have not taken the time to go. The atmosphere is fantastic, all the employees are extremely friendly and very efficient. My wait was a mere 8 to 10 minutes, which is better than most other facilities anywhere around Nacogdoches. This will be the only place that I choose to use for a haircut from now on. Best $17.00 I have spent on a haircut to date. I was able to go back to work without itching from all the little pieces of hair that always seem to get into my clothes due to the fact that they use air pressure to blow it off of you several times during the cut. I used Craig Pennington personally. He is young, but very professional, and He will be my new Barber from now on. He is skilled and quick at the same time. Talks a little, but not so much that it is overwhelming. Craig, thanks for a great haircut and an excellent experience at Milford's Barbershop.

My husband got his hair cut by barber Craig. He is an outstanding barber! Did a wonderful job on hubby's hair😍🤩. Exactly what we hoped for and then some. A fun, quaint old time barber shop feel with happy, flowing conversation, located in the heart of the scenic, beautiful downtown of the charming oldest town in Texas.

Love this place for my husband and son! Melissa is so sweet and caring! Aaron has come back to Nac and really dove in head first at being a part of and helping our community! We are so glad to have Caleb and Lilly join our town, knowing the Milford’s and the McGowen’s, just feels like family!

This place is nostalgia when it comes to Nacogdoches history or just want to jump back in time! They also have some of the best barbers in town! Make sure if you are in town to check this place out!!!

Sam was my barber so i got a haircut and beard trim today. He did a great job and will definitely be back. Only downside is they only take cash or check, but other than that the service was great 👍

This is a Nac institution. They go above and beyond in service at a phenomenal price. They’re the only place that will give you a straight razor shave on your neck to tidy things up on your hairline.
