A must visit for top-grade authentic local kerala food. All of the dishes exceeded expectations - Tapioca Stuffed Chicken, Green Chilli Neymeen, Koonthal Ularthiyath & Prawns Vennayil Porichathu. The neymeen tasted fresh off the boat & turned out to be our fav dish paired with black rice. Sambharam alongwith a kappa based canapé in the beginning & Lemon tea to end were complimentary. The kappa stuffing in the chicken breast, with a drool-worthy gravy was an innovative showstopper & perfectly executed. Populace was sparse, they seem to be more of a dinner-busy restaurant, allowing us to almost have the whole restaurant to ourselves for lunch. Hospitality was excellent, supremely attentive service by Sreejith & Harikrishnan, alongwith the manager. Even the chef found time to check in on us personally. TBH even the people manning the gates at the entrance and exit were extremely pleasant. Prices indeed meet five star expectations as well, but is completely worth the occasional splurge. For those with a Swiggy One Membership, there's a chunky flat discount of 30% on the total bill, which we availed. They are hosting a seafood lunch fest from 15-25th Sep with around 30 odd dishes, which should be top-tier from all the promise i found during this visit. I had been here for lunch with my family, which is on the first floor of the Hotel. Cassava serves authentic food from Kerala. The ambiance of the restaurant is very good & meant for fine dining experience. In the entrance of the restaurant they have kept traditional & old kitchen utensils which were used earlier. A lot to learn from the past, seeing these utensils one can realize that preparing food was not an easy task earlier. The restaurant has unique antique ceiling fans which will definitely amaze everyone. For vegetarians there were few choices! We had gone for Vegetarian Thali that includes Avial, Thoran, Puliserry, Parippu Curry, Sambhar, Rasam, Mezhukkupratti, Kappa Puzhukku, Buttermilk, Kerla Rice, Papadam & Payasam. The overall food was good except Sambhar as it had a strong flavour of turmeric. I especially liked Rasam, Buttermilk & Payasam. In Paysam, the flavour of jaggary was interesting! Overall, I was satisfied, my wish for having authentic Kerala food fulfilled. The staff was good & courteous! Cost wise, the Vegetarian Thali was reasonable!

Had gone in afternoon time for lunch with family. Located in l1 Marriott kochi, it had an amazing interiors with nice ambience. We ordered one thali with king fish fry and few Ala carte items like prawns and chicken roast and kerala parantha. Each item was amazing. We were also served amazing butter milk on the sides as complimentary drink. We were attended by Mr.ab or Abish,sorry couldn't recall name and was amazed by his hospitality. Ordered tender coconut panacotta which was slightly disappointing. Everything else was amazing.

Went here for dinner. The menu comprises of predominantly non vegetarian dishes from the Kerala cuisine which you order à la carte. For lack of better words - the food was simply mind blowing. Every single dish was perfection down to the last detail. We ordered a few dishes the names of which I forget but I would go so far as to say that you can order anything here and you are unlikely to be disappointed. We ordered two mocktails which were really well prepared. Beer and I presume other drinks are served here from the adjacent bar although we did not get a bar menu. A special shout out to Ayesha who waited on us that night and whose service made our experience at Cassava more wonderful.

For the want of a good lunch we ended up at cassava. We expected a buffet but they had changed to a new menu. It was a kerala sadhya that was being served . We without a hitch ordered 2 sadhyays and my , it was drool worthy. The presentation was top class . They serve sadhya on copper utensils . The serving had prawns, rabbit curry, chicken, beef , fish and what not, everything as much as one could eat . Followed by 2 types of payasam. Been here for dinner with family. The restaurant is good with comfortable seats. It has open kitchen where you can see them cooking your food. The quality and taste of the food was good. Very customer friendly staffs with smiling face. The main chef interact with customers and asks for feedbacks about the food. Visited Cassava for lunch and it was a wonderful experience. We had Mappila Mutton Curry, Ghee rice with Fish Mango curry and Vegetarian Sadya. All of them were really nice and well prepared. For dessert we opted for Vattalappam and it was superb and well presented. All the items in the menu were mostly authentic Kerala dishes and worth a try. Service was really attentive especially by Abin at the front desk who guided us to the seat and introduced us to the menu. The person who took care of the service was also very professional. Restaurant was mostly empty when we visited and it helped in having a pleasant atmosphere for us. The place is also really well furnished with Kerala architecture.

Excellent Keral Cuisine focused restaurant. I wish they were more traditional and true to cuisine regional rather than a fusion. Prawns and squid were very fresh. Kingfish in the red fish curry was a bit off and strong on chilly flavor. For such an establishment it’s a letdown. Service was excellent. Dining room and facilities excellent. Dessert choices very less. Overall an enjoyable experience
