I
had
been
here
for
lunch
with
my
family,
which
is
on
the
first
floor
of
the
Hotel.
Cassava
serves
authentic
food
from
Kerala.
The
ambiance
of
the
restaurant
is
very
good
&
meant
for
fine
dining
experience.
In
the
entrance
of
the
restaurant
they
have
kept
traditional
&
old
kitchen
utensils
which
were
used
earlier.
A
lot
to
learn
from
the
past,
seeing
these
utensils
one
can
realize
that
preparing
food
was
not
an
easy
task
earlier.
The
restaurant
has
unique
antique
ceiling
fans
which
will
definitely
amaze
everyone.
For
vegetarians
there
were
few
choices!
We
had
gone
for
Vegetarian
Thali
that
includes
Avial,
Thoran,
Puliserry,
Parippu
Curry,
Sambhar,
Rasam,
Mezhukkupratti,
Kappa
Puzhukku,
Buttermilk,
Kerla
Rice,
Papadam
&
Payasam.
The
overall
food
was
good
except
Sambhar
as
it
had
a
strong
flavour
of
turmeric.
I
especially
liked
Rasam,
Buttermilk
&
Payasam.
In
Paysam,
the
flavour
of
jaggary
was
interesting!
Overall,
I
was
satisfied,
my
wish
for
having
authentic
Kerala
food
fulfilled.
The
staff
was
good
&
courteous!
Cost
wise,
the
Vegetarian
Thali
was
reasonable!
