They have prayer space and halal menu too! So impressive withe the effort of the owner. They even provide us heater & hot green tea because the weather is very cold.

Surprisingly delicious and really filling Japanese restaurant right by the bus stop. It was super quiet as we went on a weekday in early January... we were probably the only customers of the day.. business must be really suffering because of covid so we were happy to support!! There was a decent range of dishes available as well as cafe options too. We got a variety of noodle dishes that were prepared really quickly and were full of flavour, with really decent prices too! Lots of vegetables with our udon!! Every dish pictured was under 900 yen. We’re got green mochi for dessert which was nice and warm too! The old lady running it was really kind and was very informative about bus times. A lot of famous people have visited the restraint and it has been featured on national TV as well. Although we are not Muslim, it was awesome to see halal options and a dedicated prayer space! Closing time is 3pm on weekdays.

Halal is important. Oishiikatta Pray room available. I visited Dec 2020, during pandemic situation there were only domestic Japanese tourist and not meny foreigner residence therefore the seller so sad not many people come.. hopefully world become recovery.

The owner is super friendly there. Good food and really like the lovely and helpful neighbour. The persimmon is highly recommended. The noodle has good price and it warms your stomach and your mind. Curry is yummy too, don’t miss it. By the way, don’t forget to get a chance to chat to them, super friendly, you can find out good travel tips there.

I rented a bike from Kawaguchiko and rode all the way to the hamburger place nearby and it was closed. My phone wasn't working so I went towards the village and found this place. The owner was very nice, the food was great (hot veggie tempura udon), and all in all it was exactly what I needed to continue on my way. Thank you!

It’s a no frills set up, I had the nabeyaki udon for lunch and it was so tasty. Fresh and hearty ingredients and extremely delicious! Very affable lady owner. Highly recommend!

Great visit to have Japanese traditional dress up and photos session (at ownself) @ reasonable cost at ￥1000. There are other illustration but time constraints when following tour group.

Delicious 600 + 200 Yen noodle set. Green bus stop number 48, hop on and off for a lunch break.

The curry soup udon bowl was absolutely delicious. You can clearly see the udon are homemade and it was the best I ever ate.
